Join us for an exceptional riverfront dining experience, located in the heart of downtown Reno, at our newly remodeled location, Smith and River. Dine on the patio and enjoy the river views with a specialty cocktail, or inside in our open bar seating area, booth seating for a more private dining experience, or our large party dining options. Book our Chefs Table for a special dining experience. Our food is always fresh, always creative. Our service is attentive and caring. Dinner was exceptional. Service was fantastic. We were seated right away as we had a reservation. Only two tiny complaints with regard to temperature (warm outside and just as warm inside ) and promptness of beverage service (the second glass of wine ordered to have with my meal arrived when I was halfway through it) . Other than that. A great experience overall.

We appreciate your feedback, We take our guests feedback to heart and use it as a learning opportunity. It is our apologies about the heat, Our building was experiencing outages with the AC units. The problem has since been resolved and I look forward to seeing you in again soon.

First time and it was great. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. We were seated right away and ordered drinks. Everything was delicious from the food to the wide variety of drink options. The specials sounded delicious and we did get one of them…the filet. The dessert options were great too. We will definitely be back again.

Exceptional food. We have never had a bad meal at Smith and River. All of the staff are great.

Such a nice touch: when I made the reservation I noted that the reason for dining out was: celebration. When we arrived we found 2 glasses of champagne and a note card with signatures of the staff congratulating us on our table!!! Now I probably gave away the secret/surprise...🤭 I find the prices nowadays ridiculous: a peach salad $16...a few leaves of lettuce, a thinly sliced peach and a nice creamy sauce - I can make that at home for under $5...the service was excellent and personable and the patio and view of the river great. A nice albeit expensive dinner.

Another great visit to one of our favorite restaurants in Reno. The salmon was enjoyed by my wife and I had the best Paella ever! Great place!!

Went with the Fresh Catch which was ahi tuna and it was Fantastic! I went for a solo birthday dinner, and the staff had a nice little card for me.

We absolutely loved having dinner here. Staff is fantastic and made my daughters birthday special. Foid is excellent.
