El Serafina, inaugurado en 1991, es un íntimo restaurante local ubicado en Eastlake, entre la universidad y el centro. Sus paredes de color ocre, que recuerdan al paisaje de la Toscana, su ambiente íntimo y sensual, su comedor en el jardín al aire libre y su auténtica cocina italiana lo convierten en el restaurante favorito del estrecho de Puget y más allá. La filosofía del Serafina es simple: ofrecer los ingredientes más frescos y de mejor calidad, presentar la comida de manera honesta y tentadora y crear un ambiente informal y acogedor que recuerde a un hogar italiano. This was our first visit to Serafina and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our server was attentive, the space is beautiful and everything was delicious. We especially loved the pastas, the meatballs, and the cocktails!! Thanks for a lovely birthday dinner!

Very quaint and romantic atmosphere, but also a bit cramped- so be prepared if you require more table/seating space. Overall everything was delicious, but I’m not sure it was worth what we paid (around $259). We got the NY steak for two, which was a bit of a tougher cut, and could have gotten better at a local steakhouse for $100, will not order steak next time. Service was amazing, meatball appetizer was fresh and homemade Italian taste! Chocolate mousse with mascarpone was unique and rich

We have been dining at Serafina's for more than 15 years. Our last two dining experiences, the most recent of which was last night, were disappointing. My wife and I ordered the Carbonara special. Both our dishes were very disappointing. Essentially the dishes can best be characterized as two large bowls of pasta with carbonara flavoring. The pasta was very "dry" with no noticeable additional moisture from a carbona sauce or olive oil. Fortunately our server took the meals off the our bill. We had a similar experience the last time we dined at Serafina's but belived it to be a "one off". Sadly, after last night's experience, my wife and I agreed we have had our last meal at Serafina's.
