Wonderful food, service and atmosphere. A must do in Cabo.

Loved to be there. Amazing atmosphere. I would say food for the price you pay is 8 out of 10 to be honest.. Fish for 65 bucks should be worth the money, but it wasn’t.. But overall it was a great dinner.

Food is good and ambiance is terrific We had a waitress that was not very attentive when we had a problem with meat served on a carving tray that dripped onto my husband’s pants. Her assistant brought us club soda to clean it but because it had fat and juices from the meat it ruined his pants. No apologies from the waitress and she acted as if nothing happened. I would have expected at least as a minimum an offer to pay for dry cleaning. I told her to tell the chef not to serve this on the drippy carving board but I don’t think she understood me. So much for a high end hotel

The food and service are always excellent at Sea Grill, and the view could not be better. Right on the beach, and a short stroll from the entrance through the beautiful grounds.

Impeccable service, ambiance and food. Worth the expense. Sitting along the waters edge we enjoyed fabulous cocktails, a light and flavorful grapefruit endive salad, whole grilled artichoke with an amazing dipping sauce, followed by a 4 pound whole grilled snapper cooked to perfection. Even the bread is worth the calories. Enjoy!

We tried Sea Grill for dinner during a weeklong stay at a nearby resort. I really wanted to give a rave review to help pump up business during the pandemic, but need to be honest... The service was spotty. We had to remind the waitress about our drinks even though the restaurant was mostly empty. The drinks ultimately arrived after our food, even though we ordered them first. The poor service was especially insulting as a 15% service tip was automatically added to the bill. The food was downright awful. I had red snapper and it was over cooked and over salted. The side of mashed potatoes resembled instant mashed potatoes with a chewy skin and dry canned onions sprinkled on top. My husband said his $75 steak was Applebee’s quality. Yikes. Even the complimentary bread was flavorless and cold, and the oil in the oil and vinegar side seemed like it was canola. Even the drinks were bad. We both had the ($25) Sirena cocktail which was weak, foamy, and had chunky mashed seeds at the bottom. While the setting was lovely, the seat cushions were dirty and out of style, and the decor could seriously use an update. Shocking for how expensive the experience was and how high end Ventanas supposedly is. Admittedly, we did not complain, as service was so slow and we just wanted to leave. Hopefully they can either improve or reduce prices to match the low quality.

Las Ventanas is a spectacular venue and the Sea Grill is an equally spectacular restaurant. After a stop at the Mezcal Bar we made our way down the lantern lined path to The Sea Grill. We started with the grilled artichoke and then moved on to the Snapper for two. The fish is delivered whole to the tabled and then filleted by the server. It was perfectly prepared. We were celebrating a birthday so the restaurant finished off the evening with an assortment of deserts, each beautifully made. The Sea Grill is definitely 5 star.

The setting is wonderful, it is right on the beach. There are tables right on the sand. Even with that this is an extremely elegant, high class, 5 star type restaurant

Very disappointed with the food. It was not hot and the chicken was not tender. The prices are high but the quality of food we ordered was not worth the price.

Top quality, but not very inventive. A little sorry that we were told the day's special was a whole sea bass, to be fileted tableside and then told, 10 minutes later, after our order, that it was no longer available (at 7:20?).

I have been in several restaurants around the world, Europe, Asia, US and for the experience is a bit over priced, wines for example like Casa Madero price is around 350 MXN in the market and this restaurant charges almost 2,000 MXN, not to mention some of the France’s collections. Do not get me wrong, the restaurant is overall very good however the experience for instance at the rosewood in Mayakoba is by far better and there are many other restaurants where for you can get better value for your money.

I can’t say enough about this restaurant and resort. We weren’t staying at the property unfortunately but we were met at the front and escorted thru the property while being shown all the amazing features and amenities. He was so gracious he delivered us directly to our table. Then we met Carlos and Alberto and they waited us and us and treated us like family. This was without a doubt not only the BEST service I have ever had but the food was out of this world. I truly felt like I was the only person there. This place is worthy of going to again and again. I will be staying at this property upon my return to Cabo. They left us with a care package of fresh sweet bread and little items that made us feel really special.

My husband said this was by far the best steak he had ever eaten. I had the sea bass in Agave leaf. This was amazing’ the crab cake .. also the best. The drinks were the first and only drinks I had while in Cabo that were delicious and not a sugary blah! Then came dessert, I had the creme brûlée and I have eaten this dessert all over the world and this was my favorite. I left there feeling happy and sad because I didn’t want to leave. This was a very special treat to have not only the service from beginning to the end be 5 star but the food as well.

This restaurant is so beautiful. The food and service is excellent. Extremely pricey though especially the drinks. I ordered a martini and it tasted like water which was the only disappointment of the night.

We have stayed at the resort however on this trip we stayed somewhere else. Dinner was delicious service was impeccable highly recommended.

Fabulous setting - perfectly executed dishes.

Magnificent setting, excellent service, and very good food. We ordered a grilled Cesar salad, grilled octopus, grilled sea bass al mojo de ajo and lobster al mojo de ajo and all was excellent. The side of vegetables was disappointing. A piece of grilled egg

Ambience, property, and service was fantastic but the overall value/culinary quality to what you pay was overpriced. Beautiful setting for sure!

Fabulous! Really enjoyed the views, food and service. The Las Ventanas hotel is absolutely beautiful as well. Grab a drink on the beach bar before dinner and enjoy.

We had a lovely dinner at the Sea Grill at Las Ventanas. The resort is beautiful. The service was very good and the food was delicious.

I felt service was poor and should not be due to the cost. First they forgot the drink I ordered and then took the bottle of wine we ordered to the wrong table. Once it arrived at our table it was the wrong type of wine. All together a very poor quality for the cost.

Wine prices are too high

This was one of the most beautiful, romantic restaurants we have been to. The food and service were outstanding. Of course the bill was more than we have ever spent on a meal but it was so special it was worth it. We will definitely return.

We went there for breakfast.
It is a great place with a great scene, good food although it’s very american,lacking a local touch.
I wouldn’t recommend it,it is way over priced. While staying in the area,we went to places as nice as this one with a decent price,this place is overrated.

We won't return to a once terrific restaurant that's seemingly lost its way. The menu, devoid of traditional Mexican dishes, contains mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. Mere steps away from the Sea of Cortez, diners are left to choose among fried chicken and hamburgers. We were truly stunned at the menu layout, and while grilled fish makes an appearance, you are left the aforementioned sides as accompaniments, along with grilled vegetables. A major disappointment with far better options throughout the area.
