Sea Grill at Las Ventanas
This restaurant is so beautiful. The food and service is excellent. Extremely pricey though especially the drinks. I ordered a martini and it tasted like water which was the only disappointment of the night.
We have stayed at the resort however on this trip we stayed somewhere else. Dinner was delicious service was impeccable highly recommended.
Gorgeous views. Best ceviche we’ve ever had.
Fabulous setting - perfectly executed dishes.
Magnificent setting, excellent service, and very good food. We ordered a grilled Cesar salad, grilled octopus, grilled sea bass al mojo de ajo and lobster al mojo de ajo and all was excellent. The side of vegetables was disappointing. A piece of grilled egg
Beautiful resort and views.
Delicious quality foods, service and view, second time there and will go back every vacation!
Ambience, property, and service was fantastic but the overall value/culinary quality to what you pay was overpriced. Beautiful setting for sure!
This place was out of this world. My wife said overall it was the best experience she had ever had. Food, service and the view and atmosphere was other worldly. The couple we were with would agree 100% Don't miss this place
Probably the best dining experience ever. Great food, perfect ambiance, and have never seen a more beautiful property. Our server Indy was amazing!
Fabulous! Really enjoyed the views, food and service. The Las Ventanas hotel is absolutely beautiful as well. Grab a drink on the beach bar before dinner and enjoy.
We had a lovely dinner at the Sea Grill at Las Ventanas. The resort is beautiful. The service was very good and the food was delicious.
I felt service was poor and should not be due to the cost. First they forgot the drink I ordered and then took the bottle of wine we ordered to the wrong table. Once it arrived at our table it was the wrong type of wine. All together a very poor quality for the cost.
Wine prices are too high
This was one of the most beautiful, romantic restaurants we have been to. The food and service were outstanding. Of course the bill was more than we have ever spent on a meal but it was so special it was worth it. We will definitely return.
Beautiful, relaxed setting with excellent service!
We went there for breakfast.
It is a great place with a great scene, good food although it’s very american, lacking a local touch.
I wouldn’t recommend it,it is way over priced. While staying in the area,we went to places as nice as this one with a decent price, this place is overrated.
They shot off fireworks for someone’s birthday
It was very cool
Another fantastic dining experience at the Sea Grill ... wonderfully creative food served graciously with love.
A truly desirable and memorable experience... thank you Sea Grill
We won't return to a once terrific restaurant that's seemingly lost its way. The menu, devoid of traditional Mexican dishes, contains mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. Mere steps away from the Sea of Cortez, diners are left to choose among fried chicken and hamburgers. We were truly stunned at the menu layout, and while grilled fish makes an appearance, you are left the aforementioned sides as accompaniments, along with grilled vegetables. A major disappointment with far better options throughout the area.
Pricey but beautiful
Service is notably less attentive than main restaurant
Good for more casual meal
Views are fantastic
Food was great. So was ambience. But two of us had salad, a mid priced entree (about $60 each), and dessert--and we only had 2 beers--no wine or hard drinks. Receipt was so small it was nearly unreadable. We were with friends so I did not make an issue of it. But calculated afterwards they must have made a mistake (I hope not deliberate) as the meal with taxes came to $325. How does that happen with two $60 entrees and two local beers?
Las Ventanas does all the “little things” better than anyone else. Sand rake art, perfect table settings with Noe Sura ceramics. Post dinner chef gift, several people working our table, and even the somallier came thru with a nice find for this evening. I love it all. Perfect.
Visited on a Wednesday for lunch. Server and food were on point. Wonderful ambiance with being right on the beach.
It was fabulous. Great food, stunning view, very attentive service. Fun band in thebar. Was a perfect date night and meal.
The food was exceptional, even the salad was exquisite. I have never said that about a salad.
Most amazing ambiance I’ve experienced The food and service were spectacular. Highly recommend.
Great food overlooking the ocean with outstanding service.
It was the worst meal ever in Mexico. Our table wasn’t set up when we got there and we have had a reservation for a month we asked for tequila tasting never happened we asked three times .our adult grandchildren were served their entrées when the rest of the table got their appetizers and they had no food and for the rest of the meal .we specifically went for the whole fish and for some reason they decided we didn’t want the whole fish they gave us a salty tiny red snapper fillet which was un edible and I didn’t eat it .I asked for roasted potatoes which never came .the desserts were wrong and there was just a bad attitude .it was very expensive and all of us left feeling like it was really bad experience .and by the way that restaurant was empty there was no excuse for bad service
It was fantastic!!!!
Will be back again .. the place was fabulous..
Amazing food and staff! Everyone was so friendly and attentive. Everything about this meal was perfect. Presentation, taste and quality were amazing! We will definitely be returning!
Excellent dining experience all around. Highly recommend.
We had the pleasure of eating lunch and dinner at Sea Grill during our stay at Las Ventanas. The service and the food were both very good. For lunch, the grilled octopus quesadillas were memorable as was the kale salad. For dinner my husband had the prime rib special which was delicious and I had a flatbread pizza which was also very good. The service at the entire resort is second to none and the views of the beach are spectacular at Sea Grill. We even had the pleasure of seeing fireworks on the beach as we dined.
Very lovely meal at Sea Grill. Setting is beautiful and the food was really good!! Service is perfect.
Holy moly- what a rip off. It was 600$ for 2 couples to dine. Everything was sooooo expensive and not worth the money.
What an amazing restaurant this is. Set right on the beach, with beautiful views and sounds from the ocean, this place delivers outstanding food, along with outstanding service. It has one of the most impressive wine lists I've ever seen in any restaurants. It's a must go to experience for anyone who's willing to go for the big splurge. Truly outstanding!!
The Sea Grill sit really close to the ocean - gorgeous. The food and service very good. We were just a little surprised by the corkage fee $50. We brought a great bottle of Chardonnay from California that we love for my Birthday. The waiter seemed a little taken back that we brought wine and had to check how much the corkage was. Where we live bringing wine is common and we have never paid $50 for corkage.. water under the bridge enjoyed our meal.
Food was incredible. Service impeccable. Drinks were perfection. Will always come back to this place over and over with no regrets.
The Sea Grill at Las Ventanas was probably our favorite of the upscale restaurants so far (we still have 2 to go) in Los Cabos. It is right on the beach -- the light turquoise roller waves crashing in regularly.
Sidebar but related-- we had dinner night before at El Restaurante a few hundred feet away which was lovely but a bit more formal; the action of the waves and the slightly diff vibe at Sea Grill won us over. No, we were not staying at this resort-- but I would if our budget would allow for it.
OK, back to the Sea Grill: food is superb (the squid appetizer is large enough to share, trust me). One of their secrets is the wood fire grill -- I had sea bass or red snapper, can't recall, it REALLY makes the fish special. My partner's flank steak was a bit cool (he ordered medium rare) - they could have singed it a bit better to serve warmer to start the game. The service is simply perfect-- always 'around' but not obtrusive or cloying. It's a full white tablecloth place 'casual' (well, that's kind of a joke"). Yes, you can order a flatbread (or pizza) of anything you can invent if you should want so the mixing and matching is amazing.
The secret to ALL of these restaurants in Cabo is this: bring your fine wines from your cellar that will stand up to corkage charges that range from $30 (Acre) to $60 (Las Ventanas - the place I am reviewing). YOU ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO BRING ONE BOTTLE-- so start with a cocktail or order a glass of wine here and there to augment as needed. The wine mark-ups if you find anything interesting are at least 4-6 times. We brought a half case with us from the cellar (you are allowed 6 liters per person).
The desserts were simply amazing as well at Sea Grill. We arrived at 745pm-- and closed the place down perhaps 1030pm on a Tuesday night.
This was a most memorable meal-- so glad we stumbled upon it by just knowing to 'get to' the resort the night before which started this off.
