Booked reservation to celebrate 53rd anniversary and they put us in the bar. My wife order sirloin and I had the ribeye. My wife’s stake was cooked just right. My steak was very thin, overcooked and taste was not very good. I have had steaks at numerous restaurants and this was one of the worst.

Service was good but sometimes slow. There was good management to follow up on the service, so this helped the wait staff on a busy night. The food was delicious and plentiful. The only negative was the restaurant was very noisy and crowded.

Steaks were over cooked, missing Oscar topping. Prices a little high for the quality of food.

DO NOT EAT AT THE SALTGRASS IN HOOVER. We had reservations for a family birthday at 6:30. We were seated on time, the waiter was polite and helpful. HOWEVER, it took one and a half hours to get our salads. On top of that, the bathrooms were out of order, apparently flooded. They are totally unable to handle a large crowd of people on a Saturday night. I will NEVER eat there again, even if it were free. Please avoid at all costs.

Everything was wonderful! The host and waitress and all servers were kind and kept us all fixed up! It Was just the best experience!

We went for my husband’s Birthday for the first time! It was amazing! The food was outstanding and the sever was so patient with us! We had a great time! If you love ribeye, a good tasting loaded baked-potato, and salad! Plus anything else they cook. Your NUTS for not going!!😀

We were giving Saltgrass another chance, as we have never had an outstanding experience.. Our waitress was friendly but definitely could've been more attentive. We was seated immediately but I had made a reservation. Even with being seated instantly, after placing our drink an app order, it took about 15 or so minutes for drinks (sodas) and probably 45 minutes for apps. It had taken so long we had talked of cancelling them next time the waitress came around. Although we didn't. So We got pickles and peppers, and also the queso fresco with brisket for an app. The pickles were good, the queso was beyond disappointing. It had MAYBE a table spoon or 2 table spoons of brisket and that's being generous. Not worth the price or the wait.. My husband got the redfish with lump crab for his entree and I got the 12oz Ribeye medium. He said his fish was quite good! he was pleased, my steak was cooked well and had allot of flavor. It was a little on the thinner side to say it was a ribeye but all and all taste was good, I got the smoked mac and cheese for a side and it was just basic, lacking in any seasoning..
