    La comida bastante normal, nada del otro mundo, pero tardaron mas de 40 minutos en traernos una ensalada y una hamburguesa , y cuando nos quejamos nos dijeron que era nuestra culpa por pedir la carne well done, a pesar de que habia pasado tiempo suficiente y la carne cuando la trajeron era muy pequeña, asi que no se justificaba que tardara tanto tiempo. Lo peor es el servicio, el lugar muy bonito.

    When we arrived for our reservation, we were told the rooftop was closed for a private event, which was most disappointing bc it was why we wanted to dine here. They then wanted to put us all the way in the back and we said we would prefer to sit up front. There was an empty dirty table available which they said would take 15 minutes to turnover! They were short staffed, even though there were 3 hostesses and one trainee completely available. It was not busy. Once seated they were out of a number of tequilas and charged $2 for a large cube of ice! Food was good enough. Brussels spouts very tasty. And then, the bill was wrong. Extra drink charges which we caught and they redid. Disappointing.

    The Rustic Root has a very “different “ menu. A wide variety of plates to share but a limited menu after that. A really cool feature of the menu is a QR code you scan , indicate your food preferences, allergies etc, and it makes suggestions for you. Our food was good, the service fine, but nothing really stood out. I would summarize our experience as a fun atmosphere with acceptable food & service.
