Royal 35 Steakhouse
Everything was delicious as usual from the onion soup & rolls to the filet cooked perfectly.
This is very simply stated the very best steakhouse in NYC! THE VERY BEST!
Alway a great ambiance, food and great service. Will walk away full and satisfied. Would recommend to all!!!
Amazing food, not too crowded, and excellent/friendly service
Out of sight!!! Hidden gem!!! Must try when in town!!
Staff was beyond accommodating. I brought my wine bottle with me to celebrate with my group. Not only were they O.K., they even brought out the decanter, let it breathe, and made sure our glasses were filled. Of course, food was really good too. Royal 35 is no less impressive than others, such as Keens, STK, and Wolfgang. Key difference was the ambiance and service.
The food and atmosphere were outstanding. However, while I witnessed other tables receiving exceptional service, there were at least 3 occasions during our meal when my party sat waiting for either a drink, our food or the check for 15 minutes or more each time. Perhaps it had something to do with my son’s nose ring? It’s unfortunate in this day and age that snobbery still exists. We were well-dressed and among the more reserved in the dining room that evening, and surprisingly, our $350.00+ meal for three was paid for, just the same.
A bit on the pricey side, but worth every penny. The service was great. An excellent high-end place, atmosphere, décor, the porterhouse steak melts in your mouth, the wine selection is extensive.
Grat food the porterhouse was just perfect !! Very friendly and well educated staff !
We we ll go to Royal 35 again on our next trip to NY !!
Service was superb as always and the steak one of the best I have eaten in Manhattan. Keep up the good work guys..
Came in here recommended by our Hotel. The staff was warm and welcoming. Service was spot on. The food was amazing! From the the oysters, the sides, to the fabulous dry aged steaks. This is by far my new favorite NYC steakhouse.
Ordered the $145 Tomahawk steak because of all the reviews I had read about it. Asked for it medium rare, when it came out it look amazing but when it was cut it wouldn’t even classify as rare. The middle was completely red and still cold. The waiter who was very respectful took the food back and had it cooked more. The food was only gone for about 2 minutes when it returned ( definitely not enough time to cook such a think steak all the way through) and it was still completely and barely warm. Seemed like they heated the plate up so much they were relying on the plate to finishing cooking the steak. Neither my wife or I ended up eating more than a couple of bites of the pieces that were cooked around the edge. Our sides, bake potato and asparagus, were pretty good and was really the o oh thing we ate. After they took the steak away the waiter brought use 2 sample size glasses of wine “on the house.” Like a 3 oz glass of wine will make up for the terrible $145 steak. I got frustrated and decided to cut my losses and leave. Club 21 is far better and the food is the same price.
At the moment we walked in to this Steakhouse the service was above and beyond anything I have experienced in my life. Everyone was attentive without being intrusive and the timing seemed as if they knew what was needed. Meat should be enjoyed rare to medium rare, there's no better way to eat it.
My favorite has to be the filet mignon. You can't go wrong with that cut. It's less fatty than the ribeye but it's very tender as well. William was very knowledgeable and made great recommendations. I will definitely be back!
We were greeted and seated immediately. The service was excellent as well as the food! There is ample space in which to dine and the old world feeling and charm was very relaxing.
This restaurant was absolutely stunning in terms of food. We had the Porterhouse Steak and it was the best steak I have ever had. Service was good, the waiter advised us not to order too many sides as they were large portions. The only thing was the price it was $570 for 6 people with mains only and one bottle of wine. Take your credit card
The Best Steak das wir je gegessen haben, kommen auf jedenfall wieder, Super Service und tolles Ambienete
It’s the best steak house I’ve been
I found Royal35Steakhouse on Open Table and truly, I had never heard of it.
After New Year's Eve 2019, I will not stop talking about it. What a find in Midtown Manhattan.
This is an idyllic steakhouse. Comfortable, Intimate, and beautiful appointed. This is NOT one of the very large steakhouses that we're used to in Manhattan or Chicago or even Manhasset. This setting is charming and engaging.
From the moment we arrived, the Maitre d' welcomed us along with the entire staff. William, our main server, was very attentive and no one waited a moment for his attention or service.
But, of course, how were the STEAKS? My group is carnivorous, yet very selective. Royal35 scored A+
The menu was quite diverse and the steak and chop choices were terrific and delicious.
Well done by this rare gem in Mid-town. We really enjoyed and hope to return in 2020.
Great steak, nice location, not cheap but it s worth and we are in Manhattan
Great food and service!!
Adam always makes us feel special. But, we wouldn't keep going back if the steaks weren't very simply the best in NYC!!! Ask for waiter, Val. Service is impeccable....always! Best steak in town. Hands down!
From the minute we walked in the service was great.
Amazing Service, food and all.
Good vibe, good food
Un'ottima steakhouse con un servizio al tavolo cortese e solerte, sicuramente da consigliare!
Went on Christmas and had an amazing dining experience!
The staff was friendly and attentive. Food was great. Bartender was especially kind to my 7 year old while we waited for the rest of our group to arrive.
A gem of a steakhouse. Fabulous meal with excellent service.
I would certainly recommend Royal 35 to friends and relatives. The steaks were perfectly cooked and the service was outstanding. The noise level was subdued so you could have a conversation. This was my first visit. I will be back.
Tucked away near the Empire State Building is this gem of a steakhouse. BEAUTIFUL beef, salads, sides. The service distinguished itself by going beyond the call when two small errors were brought to their attention.
The staff was warm and welcoming. Service was spot on. The food was exceptional.
Food and service was excellent. The noise level was truly enjoyable compared to the noisy other Steak Houses in the area. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Way too loud. Not a pleasant atmosphere. Too many other steak houses to choose from.
Great food, great people watching (place was packed) Best steak ever! Conveniently located in the near Empire State Building area for a great business dinner with out of town guest. Aged Prime Steaks were perfectly prepared not over seasoned temps were right on the mark, seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection. Side dishes are large enough to share, creamed spinach and home fried potatoes are out of this world.
Food was outstanding, a little loud because we were seated next to bar area, service was very good.
My favorite restaurant! Impeccable service and consistently delicious food as always.
Everything is top notch and we recommend it to all our friends and family. Best steakhouse in NYC and even better service.
Wow!!! My husband and I were very impressed with this place! Visiting NYC for the weekend, we decided to dine at a fabulous steakhouse and picked Royal. They were accommodating for the time we needed for reservation even though we waited until the week before going to reserve.
The place is really nice inside. Classic, yet fancy ambiance. The aging box is right as you walk in with all of their steaks. It's pretty awesome to see that!
We started with dirty martinis which were ok. Not my favorite dirty and for the price it wasn't amazing but the food is where it is at!
Started with the yummy breads and French onion soup and it was absolutely delicious. It was the best I have had! The cheese was broiled perfect and the flavor was out of this world. Ordered the prime ribeye with fries and we shared the Mac and cheese! The steaks were cooked perfect with a crusty buttery char. I'm drooling as I write this just thinking about it. The Mac and cheese was so good, buttery cheesy...just omg! You have to try this place. We were too full for dessert but saw some go by and they looked amazing...can't wait to go back and try the dessert as well. Service was impeccable. Every waiter in the place worked together and checked in on us. Def worth the money!
High quality meal well worth it! The steak was mouthwatering and cooked perfectly. We had so much fun visiting and eating that 2 bottles of wine disappeared. The best things were the Porterhouse steak and the service. You know you are going to drop some money in here but it's really worth it when you want an excellent meal and get excellent service. I don't live here, but I'd come back.
