Romeo y Julieta calificaciones y reseñas
We have been coming to Romeo and Juliet for 14years and are never disappointed. We have seen it grow from a small establishment to one with an open air dining area and staged entertainment.
Caesar salad, made table side, is superb.
We enjoyed the margherita pizza...great thin crust.
So glad we found this fantastic restaurant, we had no idea it would be so lovely. The service from Victor and the guitar playing by the other Victor really made our night. The outdoor setting is beautiful. It was hard to choose what to eat, everything looked so good that we will be be back before we leave Cabo. We had the tuna special for two that came with their famous Caesar salad that was really good. Everyone was top notch friendly from the front door reception to the back waiter.
Went here twice during 7 nite Cabo trip. Excellent menu w/ a lot of classic Italian options. Go for the Caesar salad. We had Caesar and a pizza our 2nd nite -- excellent. Doubt if you can go wrong with anything on the menu. Outside dining -- is more like an open roof dining -- very nice ambiance. Great tables for larger parties.
The Caesar salad made fresh at your table was excellent. The seared ahi tuna encrusted with black sesame seeds was delicious!! The violin player added just the right touch of Music. This was our first visit and will be a regular stop from now on.
Our meal was amazing - the ambiance and restaurant were in spotless, impeccable condition and the entertainment (live singer) was very talented. We got the Caesar Salad and Pizza, while others in our party got the steak. Everything was incredibly delicious and the servers and hostesses were so friendly. We will definitely be going back on our next trip to Cabo.
We really enjoy this restaurant. My husband and I first came to Cabo six years ago and one evening stopped at your restaurant. We loved it—romantic, good food, wonderful service. We come to Cabo each year now, often bringing our family, and always make it a point to eat at Romeo and Juliette ‘s. It has never disappointed us. This year we celebrated our daughters birthday there.
We spent a night in Cabo San Lucas before the start of a trip to see the Grey Whales with Lindblad. After picking a hotel on Trip Advisor, we found a this restaurant around the corner and highly recommended. We were glad we tried it.
In spite of the reservation, we had to wait about 5 minutes (we were also a few minutes late), but there were several groups waiting for tables, so our wait was not bad.
The waiters all spoke English, or did not try to take care of us. The food was as good as we can get at home (SF Bay area) which is all we were looking for. The service and food were both very good and worth the price, which was slightly less than at home for the same level of meal.
This review is being written after an exciting week with Lindblad and I do not remember details of the meal. Sorry cannot be more specific.
Excellent meal and service! We had the dinner for two (tuna and three different pasta dishes) The meal began with a Caesar salad made at ou table. The wine list was excellent! This will be one of the restaurants we will return to. In fact, we plan to go back this week to try their pizza!
Beautiful restaurant. Host and hostess very gracious and welcoming. Location is ideal if your near the marina. Restaurant came highly recommended for the food and the service. Steamed Mussels for the appetizer special. Just ok. Diffidently needed more seasoning. My glass of wine arrived with it being slammed down beside me and Malbec was the only word that came out of the servers mouth. The bread basket had some small rolls and a couple triangles of what could of been toasted tortilla or pita. Caesar salad prepared at table side was tasty, but not the best I have ever had. Our entrees where very good. Polpo alla Luciano and Combo Romeo y Julieta. Just not the fine dining experience that we where expecting for such a highly rated restaurant.
We had a wonderful meal in Cabo, highly recommend this restaurant. Our server, Jose was very attentive as was his assistant, Jesus. I had the eggplant past and my husband had the salmon stuffed pasta. Both were delicious. We had the lava cake which takes 15 minutes, We both felt that it was a little bit of a letdown and we would go for the Tiramisu next time. A great dining experience overall and the guitar player was terrific! It’s a little bit hard to find, use the valet parking, much easier than trying to find parking near the restaurant. The strangest thing was that the payment system is a mobile device that the server brings to the table. He had to ask us what percentage we wanted to tip and punch it into the device. Very uncomfortable. We prefer to tip what we want and not under pressure. We are fine tippers, it was just weird to be asked by our server how much we wanted to tip. We would definitely eat here again when in Cabo!
We had the tableside prepared Caesar salad, which was probably the best Caesar we have ever had. I would return for that alone. Generally the servers in Mexico are very friendly. Here we felt the service, although efficient enough, was rushed and somewhat mechanical. We really had very little give and take with our server. He was all business. I had a pasta with mushrooms dish and it was very good. My husband had a fish dish which he also enjoyed. It was nice to have valet parking in the busy centro. I would definitely recommend Romeo and Julieta.
We were four for dinner, our third visit, brought friends for their first time. As usual, food and service excellent. However, we were seated near a speaker or amp and the music, which was wonderful, was so loud that we could not communicate with our table mates. That was a huge detraction from our experience.
The food was truly outstanding. Just excellent. We had two very different pasta dishes, and really enjoyed them. The service was attentive, but not overbearing. The only criticism I have is that the guitarist (who was excellent, too) was too loud. It actually wan't the guitarist...it was the sound system in the restaurant. Overall, however, the restaurant was outstanding, and next time we're in Cabo San Lucas, Romeo y Julieta will definitely be on our must-do list!
The food was wonderful. The service was truly top notch. Friendly greeting and service. We we're offered an amazing special for the evening. I would definitely return despite the cost. I have already recommend the restaurant to friends traveling to Cabo next month.
The food is exellente, the service outstanding, the place is beautiful, I really loved it. The only thing I didn't like is that I had a reservation and they made me wait 15 min more to get my table, of course I understand since is such a beautiful place, I wouldn't like to leave either.
For sure we will come back. Don't matter if I have to wait.
Really recommend it!
Our entrees were horrible. We had the pork - which was rather gross - a small piece of fat (literally, there was very little meat!) served up with some sauce. Salads were delicious and cocktails were good too. Very expensive given the small quantity and less than average quality of the entrees we had. I don’t eat pasta, but it looked amazing - probably best to stick to those entrees!
I have been going for many years and the waiters all knew my son growing up. It has changed over years for the better but now the waiters are gone and it is really noisy. It is not a quiet dining experience anymore. Load noisy music, a magician making people scream (he is good) but out of amazement, just has made it another Cabo gone bad place.
