Eating here seemed no different than getting coffee from Starbucks. You order your food, eat it and leave. In other words, the food, service and dining experience proved rather unremarkable.
Fruit flys all around us. Landed in my wine and husbands beer we moved tables and it was a little better. Food just ok. Music too loud. Will not go back
While food was descent , the service was beyond slow … place wasn’t even that busy. Overall service terrible .. won’t be going back

Service was very slow even though the restaurant was less than half full. The spinach & artichoke dip was bland and contained almost no artichoke. The entres took forever (nearly an hour) and my steak and potatoes were both cold. The potatoes tasted very good, but the steak lacked flavor. It was very bland. Overall a very disappointing experience.
High price for food. Not quality.
Service was bad. Salad never came. Food came first.
Drink orders were not refilled accurately or timely.
Server never came back.

This was the worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. The waitress was inattentive and we waited for almost an hour just to get all of our appetizers. My brother’s food was served fifteen minutes after everyone else’s. The whole process was extremely delayed. We had to prompt her to bring bread and ask for refills.
I understand that there is a shortage of staffing right now, but the restaurant was almost empty when we arrived and tables all around us seemed to be getting better customer service.
The service is awful and the place smells like it has backed up toilets. Macaroni Grill was once a great family restaurant. Now, it is to be avoided. I would rather have fast food.
Always a great experience! The atmosphere is family friendly and the food is fantastic. There’s free bread while you decide on your meals.
We requested an outdoor table, on line, but when we arrived were told that there is no outdoor dining. We did eat indoors far away from other diners because the restaurant was almost empty. The server could not tell us what the house wine was and there was no choice, but for a white or a red of unknown vintage. Overall, not a very pleasant experience. In addition the prices have increased since the last time we were there, and they are now competitive with better restaurants nearby.
Slow service and short staffed seems to be an ongoing trend. They did not have anyone to man the brick oven so pizza was not an option. Food was just OK. Nothing to rave about.
Hot bread has always been your signature & last night my husband asked for bread & the waitress said “It’s only by request “. She never asked if we wanted any, she just didn’t even mention it.

We went to Macaroni Grill because we love their food and bread! After 3 hrs at our son's graduation, we were hungry! Lucky us!! Because of our reservation, we didn't have to wait. Another group behind us did not have a reservation and was told the wait was 50 minutes so they left. MImi, our server was great! She kept refilling our drinks and bringing more bread with a smile!! She was so nice and on top of everything. We will definitely come back to this location!!
It was our first time there. The food was okay and a bit pricey for the quality and overall experience.
We had not been to a Romano’s Macaroni Grill in over 10 years. The food was good. The environment was relaxing dispute the COVID-19 precautions. We would go back if we are in the area again
One of the worst restaurant experiences in my life. The host initially sat my mom and I for our 7 PM reservation in the bar area directly beneath a TV with blaring loud volume of a baseball game that was so disruptive we could barely hear each other. When I asked the bartender to please mute the TV since 1) No one was watching it, and 2) We were dining at a nice restaurant and not a sports bar, I watched as she lowered the volume from 42 to 41, claiming that was the best she could do. That was an utter lie and incredibly insulting. I then asked the host if we could move to a different table in the dining area, which they agreed to do. When my mom stood up she lost her footing and fell to the ground. This was no fault of the restaurant, but it would have been nice if, at the very least, the manager would have come to see if she was ok considering she had to limp to our new table. There we sat for 15 minutes before our new server even brought us water. As we were waiting I overheard a server explaining to a group of 7 seated at a table for quite some time that the host neglected to inform them local COVID restrictions only permitted parties of 6. The family was understandably very upset and promptly left the restaurant while my mom and I continued sitting there waiting for our water. After awhile, we had enough and silently left.
This restaurant was utterly dysfunctional and incompetent. If I had to guess, I'd say the average age of staffers was about 17-years-old, except for the bartender who refused to mute the TV (probably in her 40s). The staff's inexperience, apathy, and carelessness ruined our evening. In the strongest terms I can express, STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT!! Do yourselves a favor and find somewhere else to eat unless you enjoy disrespectful staff, loud TVs that disrupt conversation, and waiting forever simply to be served water.
I was really disappointed with the meal and service this time around. The food hasn't been that great like before when we went prior COVID. This time, our order was placed at 420 but then our two appetizer's were cold then when we informed the staff it seemed to be thrown in a microwave which then came back cold again.
Then it was 530 and food finally arrived and was told they are training so that is why it took so long which with 2 toddlers and 2 kids really ruined the waiting. I just overall hoped it could have gone better. We did get discounted the appetizers but really didn't make up for the service. sorry.
This is my favorite restaurant and the waitress was super good
I have always enjoyed eating at Macaroni Grill, but my last 2 visits made my family and me decide not to eat here again for awhile. We were seated when we arrived but no one came to our table to greet us. My daughter finally asked the host if anyone was going to serve us....this was after 10 minutes of waiting. Finally someone got us our drinks and then finally our order. Yes the food was very good, but not having good service made the evening unpleasant. Maybe this is just due to the pandemic and the restaurant not having enough servers, but we won't be back for awhile.
So sad to see how downhill the restaurant and food has gotten. On the plus side, our server was nice.
Food preparation was tailored to our request. Service was just right, and the restaurant provided a wonderful atmosphere. We will be back!
I know its tough now
NEED CONSISTANT QUALITY
We miss the old Macaroni Grill with its singing wait staff, honor system wine, extensive menu and crayons for entertainment, but due to hard times and covid, it’s now a basic Italian restaurant. Still, we love their bread and dipping oil and can always find something tasty on their menu. Hopefully their menu will expand again in the future. Meanwhile, the ambiance is nice and the reduced capacity has made for a much quieter experience.
Avoid this location like the plague. The restrooms are filthy, the entire property is in dire need of an update and deep cleaning.
We will not return.
Horrible service and horrible food, would not recommend
The service was absolutely horrible. It was apparent that there was either no or poor training on table maintenance, timing, politeness in not interrupting a discussion at the table, delivering all food at the same time, and then blaming the cooks and bartenders. I will not return.
Service was great! Food came quickly and was delicious.
It was cold outside. Heaters would be nice. Everything else was superb.

Sat outside in a cold parking lot without heaters or coverings. Poor service.
Seated right away, tables appropriately spaced apart. Server came right away for drink order, but when asked about additional adult beverage options, her reply was, "you can scan the qr code, I don't know, maybe there." Um, ok. Didn't bother, since she didn't bother. Ordered food with unlimited salad. Salad came. Requested another salad. Entrees came. Smaller than I remember, nothing to write home about. Still no salad, no server. Everyone is done with entrees and here comes the salad. No acknowledgement of this poor timing. Whatever. Decided against dessert to just get out. So lackluster.
And side note: either she was wearing a perfume or her hand sanitizer was scented. Either way, it was too much. That is a big no no in food service.
Even though the food was very good, the atmosphere wasn't the same. There wasn't the joyful sounds of lots of people enjoying the evening. Also, the poor server (the only one we saw) was running like crazy from table to table, so therefore forgot part of our meal. May not be coming back for awhile until restaurants can operate better.
We were sat right away, greeted quickly and our order taken, that was the last time we saw our server that night, there were only 6 tables in the entire restaurant and lots of staff, we waited a long time for our soup and salad and then received our meals less than a minute later, sat and waited for our bill for close to 25 min after we were done, we had to get up to find our waitress, never saw the manager once on the floor monitoring service. This was my first and last time.
Great service with social distance practice in place.
