Been coming to RBL for many many years. One of my favorite all around. I really enjoy the special occasions when the buckets are discounted. Food is always perfect, drinks as well. Service superb.

Place needs probably needs an investor and new management, it’s become a tired 90’s concept restaurant you would find in Times Square.
Have been here many times and got the Throwback Thursday Bucket, always good, but we did get "shorted" a few shrimp. We did have to request a different table, as we were cold and the gas heater didn't work. Wish the waterfall was not so noisy. Staff takes your temperature before seating you, which is good.
It was a great experience except that we order our meat well done and it was cooked raw we send it back they brought it back same with blood. We got the biggest basket it was a good portion well prepared except our meat. Will definitely go back for any occasion no need to go over the border to puerto Nuevo.
Met at Rockin Baja lobster for a first time date. The ambience was perfect, our server was attentive and the food was delicious.
Place is nice, food is over-priced. Small portions. Ordered the original “big baja bucket” for $64 and it was not that much. It was mediocre. Reservations really doesn’t mean anything unless they are busy but we went on a Sunday evening and it wasnt busy. If you cant find parking you can pay $7 to park near the restaurant, it only has a few spaces.
The last two times we have eaten there, we were disappointed but they redeemed themselves. The food was great, cooked how we requested and the service was also great. We will definitely return.

Requested indoor, got outdoor. Party next to us was smoking pot on non smoking patio, waitress told them WE were the ones who complained so they were extra annoying to us the rest of the night.
My wife and I have been coming to this restaurant for the last 15 years since we lived in San Diego and when we visit from Phoenix. We were disappointed in the quality of the lobster tails and shrimp in the bucket. They were very greasy and my fries were cold. In addition I had the special lobster BLT and found it to be very greasy and not very well put together. Thank you

Delicious food served in patio. I had the shrimp and lobster bucket and mh wife had a combo fajitas. Very comfortable in the patio and attentive servers. We will return for sure.

Haven’t been to this place in a few years, and I’m sad to say, because this place is amazing! Friendly service, AMAZING food, and we felt safe with their Covid precautions. Can’t wait to go back!
Food was good, they seated us much earlier than our reservation time and our waitress was great. Just a little annoyed at the 4 percent service surcharge
I made a reservation before we went just to make sure we had a table since it was my husband's birthday. When we got there, parking was difficult since the valet service is closed due to covid. Luckily we got there early and found a place to park within a short walk down the street. I didn't see any signs at the front as to where to check in for reservations, so we ended up waiting in a VERY long line for about 20 minutes until I saw another customer checking in for her reservation at the front. So that was a big waste of time. Like I said, good thing we got there early because we would have been late for our reservation. So that was mildly annoying. Inside the new patio area was pretty loud and dirty. I always think Rockin' Baja is a pretty loud place to be so that wasn't a big deal but they could have done some cleaning it was kind of gross. We ordered our drinks at the same time we ordered our food. We always order the Sea of Cortez bucket and share it. Our food came out lightning fast! So fast, that we were half way done eating before our drinks finally arrived. Our server seemed a little out of it. When we were done we ordered the fried ice cream. About 15 minutes went by, our server came by to see if we wanted anything else. We had to remind her that we ordered dessert. All in all, I love Rockin' Baja's food. The service and cleanliness of the place has gotten kind of sloppy though.
The food is always good there and so are the drinks. It’s a bit pricey but worth it.
Great, friendly, fast service! We had reservations on Valentine’s Day. Even the people in standby line were served quickly. My boyfriend and I are already planning a family dinner there!
We had a blast! We were sat as soon as we arrived, we waited for a moment to get service, but they were very busy. My drinks were good, and my food came out hot. We will definitely be back!
My son loves the Sea of Cortez bucket! Ceviche was a delicious suggestion and we loved the churros!

Great time for Valentines Day. GlD we made reservations ahead of time. Looked like a 30 minute line but with reservations we were seated immediately.
Always delicious...Asked for their classic margarita and was shocked when I got the bill $16 a piece?? I think for the price of the food the drinks could be a little more affordable. Dont go often so not too upset over it BUT next time....1-drink max......LOL!
Ordered the Lobster bucket for 2. The food was good but a little over priced for the amount of food. Overall it was a nice place too eat.
When we are in San Diego this place is a must visit.. The food is awesome and so is the service... Blanca is a great waitress ....

Had a great time! Our server, Tony, was attentive, safe, and very helpful. The staff went out of their way to make sure we felt safe under all social distance guidelines and that we enjoyed ourselves. Overall wonderful experience!

The crab legs were over cooked so it was difficult to crack, very rubbery. We sat on a patio deck outside so we did not hear any music.

If you are looking for a good time good food and a very pleasant atmosphere than this is your place. It has been mine for over 10 years and I still enjoy it to this day. They have the best seafood in my opinion in town. All the employees are very attentive professional and very well mannered.
Been coming here for years and I have to say it’s one of my favorites. Now I’m bringing my kids and they love the atmosphere with the birds and the decor.
