This is the fourth time we have eaten here. Wonderful food!!! Our dinner was for a birthday. Even though we left our free dessert behind, the staff made a big deal out of the occasion.

Everything was great. Loved the chili, cornbread and coleslaw. Burger very good too. Good service.

Winter visit after the holiday season was quite nice. There was recent snow in the hills offering fantastic views while dining. The salmon entree was very acceptable as was the desert carrot cake. Good meal, good service and a good value.

The food was well prepared our server. Noah was exceptional. He always filled our water glass and asked if we needed anything…… several times ………the prices were a little high, but overall the party that I was with was very pleased.

All of the staff were very friendly and courteous and the food was delicious. The restaurant is a very nice facility and very clean.

Very pretty setting. Meals were good ( hamburger and steak fries and brisket sandwich) Our server was attentive and friendly. Did not wait long for our food as I'd read in other reviews

The positives: Our server was fantastic. He was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed and wanted. The food came relatively quickly, and was hot and fresh. We were seated next to the windows and the view was very pretty. The entire lodge was also nicely decorated for Christmas. What could be better: The menu is a little tricky for the teen/preteen age. The kids menu is too simple/not enough food, but the main menu is a little too fancy/flavorful for my kids. I realize this is an issue in many places. Also, although the hot pretzels and garlic cheese curds were yummy appetizers, we REALLY miss the garlic fries. They were so good last year that we ended up taking another order home with us. Finally, overall things are a little pricey, but we did go in expecting that. Just be prepared.
