Rhapsody is a casual fine dining restaurant featuring Local Appalachian cuisine. Located in downtown Nelsonville, Ohio's beautiful Public Square, the Rhapsody is easy to get to and is centered in the arts district.

These cutting-edge comfort foods use local fresh ingredients, including vine ripe tomatoes, garden grown basil, local Amish cheese, and house made cheese spreads. Our steaks, chops, and chicken are produced locally, free of growth hormones and antibiotics. Our salads are made with fresh Athens area greens and vegetables. The food was excellent! The atmosphere extremely enjoyable. Live Jazz music was a bonus and the band was fantastic. During breaks they came out to talk to people. Just lovely. Highly recommend!

We are traveling and chose Rhapsody from the guidebook in our cabin. The owner was gracious and service was excellent. They had a small but nice wine list and a very nice menu. The slab salad was delicious and the home made rolls were out of this world.

Our dinners last night were excellent. My husband had the lamb shank which fell off the bone. I had the vegetable pasta with chicken. Oh my goodness! I forgot to mention our delicious appetizer of Jamaican fishcakes. Most fun was being served by students from Hocking college. They are in the hospitality management program. An excellent hands-on learning experience. Highly recommend.

Spinach and artichoke dip was delicious, boyfriend had the Hibachi Steak and said it was delicious and I had the Tuscan Chicken and it was extremely dry!! The tomato sauce was spicy and it wasn’t written on the menu, stating that it would be. The waitress we had, seemed a bit rude and didn’t seem like she wanted to work.

The service was amazing and so was the food. My husband and I each had a steak (ribeye for him, NY strip for me), and they were cooked to the requested doneness and the sides were really good. We shared the lava cake for dessert and it was also so good! There was live music and the gentleman playing sounded great and was engaging with the diners in a positive way. I highly recommend Rhapsody.

Another amazing dinner with relaxing music at Rhapsody. My Husband tried the Lamb Shank, which he then had to share with me. The lamb was so very tender. I got one o my usuals, the bang bang shrimp. Always delicious. Thanks to the staff for another great experience,

Food was delicious! Disappointed due to their website stating live jazz music on every Wednesday...made reservations on Wednesday to find no music. Please update your website.

Had a great experience for dinner there the food was fantastic. Service was great. Went for brunch the next day. Service was not as attentive. I ordered The biscuits and gravy. It was okay. The biscuits were too had and my eggs came out overcooked.
