We celebrated the 18th birthday of the person who loves Gordon. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. The only thing that would have made it better was Gordon was there himself as a surprise.

We had a reservation for 8:45 and were told to wait 10 minutes and they would come get us to seat us. We walked up 20 minutes later to ask what happened and they apologized then sat us right away. Did not get much attention from the waitress. Food was good but overpriced for what we got and same for the drinks.

Overall, we had a wonderful time treating our adult kids to dinner at Ramsay's Kitchen while they were both in town visiting. We ordered an array of menu items to be able to taste as much as possible. The biggest hits were the Tuna Tartare, Beef Wellington and the Sticky Cauliflower. I couldn't stop eating the cauliflower and would have been happy if that was the only thing I ordered. We also ate the Parker Rolls, which were good but not amazing. The Harvest Salad was delicious, light and very refreshing with some of the heavier things we ordered. The baked Mac & Cheese was creamy and very smoky. I personally loved it but others in our group were less enthusiastic about the smoked cheese flavor. The Roasted Romanesco was ok, but we wouldn't bother ordering it again with other more interesting things on the menu. Finally, the Fried Cod. This was by far the most disappointing item on the menu. It was so salty we could barely eat it. I had flashes of watching Gordon Ramsey on "Kitchen Nightmares" dramatically spitting out food that was too salty. The batter tasted like funnel cake batter, which wasn't good; however, the server told us the same batter is used on the cauliflower, and we loved the cauliflower. Sadly, our family commented that the fried cod at the fast food restaurant Culvers is better. We should have sent the cod back, but we had a lot of food, were having a good time and decided to enjoy other items at our table. We will definitely go back, especially for a special occasion. It's expensive so we won't go often but it's a memorable treat. Our dinner for 4 was $360 (before tip) with 2 alcoholic drinks. We had a lot of food, the setting is beautiful and it felt like a very special evening so overall worth the price.

First off the location might be the best in the city. The hostesses were the only down part of the night. I think they were struggling with their tablet system. They told us to feel free to wait in any of the lounges and someone will come get you. 10 minutes past our reservation we went back to the hostess and it was clear we were forgotten about. Our waiter was awesome. The food came out hot and tasty. I don’t know where they source their shrimp for the cocktail, but it was really good. Simply made with the best ingredients. Our favorite two dishes happen to be the Crab cake, Smoked Mac n cheese, the mascarpone cheese cake, and the Beef Wellington.

Our experience did not live up to the Gordon Ramsey hype because the food was just not that good. Presentation was impressive but we both found our entree to be over-salted. The rest of the experience was great but...one goes to a restaurant primarily for the food.

My wife's birthday was on October 2nd (when we were there for our dinner reservation). We arrived promptly at 6:45pm and waited 3-5 minutes to be greeted by the hostess at the front desk right at the entrance to the restaurant where she took us to our reserved table. There were 4 of us in the party and we all ordered house water for drinks, with one in the party getting 1 glass of wine as recommended as a pairing with the meal by our server. We each got our main courses and our table of 4 split 2 sides (we did NOT get dessert, but they did give my wife a beautifully rich brownie and vanilla bean ice cream "on the house" for her birthday which was not expected but greatly appreciated). As to be expected, like with the majority of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants, after taxes and tip, the dinner for the 4 of us cost $400. Unless noted on the menu EVERYTHING is ala carte, so expect to pay $100 per person at the barest of minimums unless you are just going for drinks or an order of their wonderful Truffle Fries (which are to die for btw). Everything we ordered was excellent, the menu crafted with such mastery that each flavor and texture on every plate were very much on purposefully placed there for a reason. If you are afforded the opportunity and have the disposable finances to give this place a try at least once, definitely do so.

The food was absolutely amazing! Crab cake was excellent and had nothing but crab in it. The cake was barely there. The beef wellington melted in your mouth. You didn't even have to chew it. The only thing that was any kinda bother was the drinks took a little bit of time to get.
