It was my Birthday. Picked a dessert and they charged us for it!!! Nothing for my birthday except wrote in chocolate on plate happy birthday.

We had reservations but still waited a little for our table. Hostess was accommodating when we asked for a regular table instead of high top. Server seemed disinterested. Never brought wine we ordered- or had water glasses refilled that we asked for. Felt like we were an after thought. I left my husband waiting for the check- as it took so long ( and I actually missed our surprise anniversary dessert!) That being said- it was still an outstanding experience- view was incredible and each dish perfectly cooked and presented.

My wife and I had the same meal except I had the sourdough cream ice cream and that night my stomach was upset and had to go to the bathroom three times otherwise no problem once that was clear and my wife was fine no problem

Great views. Exceptional food and service! Waiters very attentive but not hovering. The fresh fish catch of the day was grilled perfectly! Steaks and short ribs also great. We had both lunch and dinner at this restaurant- both excellent but liked dinner more. Restaurant is a little out of the way but worth the walk.
Quinto is the high end steakhouse at the Vidanta Resort. We’ve dined there on several occasions. We’ve vacationed there for many years. We’ve never complained about the food. Last night ( family of four) the food was far and way the worst food of our the entire week. The ribeyes could not have been USDA. Bland, skimpy and brown., like it came from North Korea. The sides were cold and stale... honestly a stale baked potato. The wine list is subpar. All this and more for the low low price of $385.00. The views and ambiance are nice, though.
We have eaten at this restaurant before and it was very good, we especially enjoy the lunch there.
This time we had our extended family with us and they all wanted to try it and the food so this was our family Christmas dinner and the service was excellent and every one including the 5 year old with us enjoyed their meals and the experience. The views from the top floor are amazing.
Great work by all the staff that served us.

La entrada Mac & Cheese Lobster un desastre, fuera de traer tres (3) minutas porciones de langosta, lo demás no hace más que restarle de manera significativa a la carta.
El Rib Eye fatal, seco y sin sabor y debí devolverlo. En su reemplazo Pesca del Día, igualmente fatal, seco y sin sabor y debí devolverlo.
Conclusión, una pésima experiencia gastronómica. Quinto en la Riviera Maya muy bueno, Quinto la Riviera Nayarit un desastre. Si tuvieran algo de orgullo gastronómico y respeto por el cliente por arruinar la Cena de Navidad, no debieron cobrar nada.

Braised short ribs and catch of the day were both excellent choices, nicely prepared and more than adequate servings. Will definitely eat there again.

El lugar da vista espectacular de Vidanta y el campo de entrenamiento de golf, los cortes son excelentes, estar junto a una gran piscina en el pen house y con grandes ventanales abiertos genera una única experiencia. La atención . Es excelente. Si comes carne lleva tu cuchillo afilado. Sino te va a costar mucho trabajo poder cortar el excelente cite de carne. Y si eres un buen catador de vinos. Requieres una tarjeta Blck para poder degustar algunas selecciones.

Lovely ambiance, friendly hostess, good service, but the food was disappointing. We came here last year as well and the food was better then. I ordered a steak because this is a steakhouse. My ribeye was tough and overcooked. They made me another but since they serve it on an iron pan, it continued to cook. My caprese like salad had lovely buffalata but unripe tomatoes. My spouse fared better with the catch of the day. The service was good and the views are stunning.

Steak seems was never marinated. We ordered blue rare, but it was brought almost cold. Seems it was waiting for other dishes or was througn on grill frozen. They also brought sides different then we had ordered.
Our food was poorly prepared with two pieces of salmon burned to the point of being inedible. No compensation. Was offered.
We had the seafood soup, small lobster tail, and we shared baked potato and roasted vegetables. All were superb.

Awesome way to celebrate my 40th birthday!!
We were so looking forward to dining at Quinto but sadly the food was terrible. The reason was because everything was either extremely over salted or soaked in salt!
The bread came with a coating of salt which made it taste very unpleasant.
We all had steak for main and once again not only did it have a salt crust but must have also been soaked in salt as the meat underneath the crust was also extremely salty.
Then to top it all the grilled assorted vegetables were once again covered with a layer of salt!
My partner and daughter do not add any salt to their meals normally and so the meal was very unpleasant to them! And as for me I suffer with high blood pressure and as well as the meal tasting very unpleasant it was also affecting my health as I have doctors orders not to add any salt to meals because of my high blood pressure!
At no point were we told either on the menu or by our server that the meals served at Quinto were heavily salted.
Finally, when we expressed to our server our dissatisfaction with the very salty meal he basically ignored us and asked us instead if ‘that was our only daughter!’
We managed to very reluctantly from Quinto to have the charge for the salty vegetables removed but the steaks were still charged for even though we all left most of it on our plates.
We will never return to Quinto - absolutely dreadful !
The setting is spectacular. The service is good but somewhat inattentive. I went for the charcoal cooked steak and sadly, it was far from expectations. It was served cold and had no flavor. For the setting, it could have been so much better. The lobster Mac and Cheese and cocktails are awesome!
Service unacceptable appeared short handed fish was very dry my husbands steak ordered medium well came medium rare (didn’t send back afraid it would take too long) waiter not friendly but assistant was nicer. Totally forgot our coffee with dessert came after finished had to ask twice. It was our anniversary and I wished we had gone to Tramontos they are awesome !!!

Best steak we've had in Mexico, cooked to perfection although it was slightly over peppered for our taste. The vegetable green bean/asparagus side dish was excellent but we didn't care for the creamed mushroom side.

We were able to get in about 30 minutes later!
Open table isn’t as effective in Mexico as in the states!
Or maybe the restaurant staff just cancels them

Husband had the filet and I had the lobster tail. Filet was good but the lobster tail had a lot of veins(??) throughout that I had to spit out because it was too chewy. Entree came as is and you had to order a side(like potatoes or veggies) if you wanted it and the cost was extra.
Nice view atop the hotel but it was very dark and those little clip on lights were put on the menu so one could see. You could not see your food when you were eating - I did not find this pleasurable at all.
Still an ok experience for a visit. There was a full bar and maybe just drinks would have been nice just to see the location.
Had to wait 20 minutes for a reserved table. All was good except for our friends very expensive steak - tough and tasteless
The service was a total disaster- The waitress did not follow up us on a regular basis- The ribeye cut that I had was not the quality expected

The steak was ice cold near the bone while the rest of the steak was cooked and hot which leads me to believe the steak was frozen and not fully defrosted when cooked. We ordered two porterhouse steaks for 4 people and both steaks were ice cold. Very expensive for a meal that was truly disappointing. But the staff and view is lovely.
