Simply the best meal I've ever had. Food outstanding and actually decent value for this high standard. Service friendly, unobtrusive and perfectly timed, restuarant and gardens absolutely beautiful

All the food and courses were amazing. I loved the mole and ceviche dishes. . Our waiter was amazing and explain each dish as it arrive. He also paired our wine perfectly to fit our desires.

What a wonderful experience we had at Pujol! We were amazed with every aspect of our visit. We had the perfect table to watch the comings and goings of the staff and everyone was so welcoming. We especially were thrilled when we talked a long time to Ricardo, who later took us back into the kitchen to see it firsthand. What a treat! Everyone was so friendly! The food was incredible! The atmosphere was beautiful! ¡Muchas gracias, Pujol!

I’ve eaten at a Michelin starred restaurants in Europe and NYC, Pujol is everybit as good as any of them. Service was attentive. Flavors blended wonderfully. I had the sea food tasting menu.
You are paying for great food (most of it), and definitely an experience. Service is amazing. I understand charging $150 /per person for great food and experience. But it felt charging $15 dollars for water was a bit excessive. It is definitely one of the most expensive restaurants in Mexico City. Worth the experience. Definitely once. I will probably not return. There are a lot of options in this city.
Desde 4 quise visitarles pero como soy de Europa y es difícil a tener una reservación, nunca funciono. Ahorita estoy muy contento que al final lo logre y que vale la pena. Muchas gracias
As usual a great experience. Not a big fan of only having vegan and pescatarian only but nevertheless supreme taste. We had both the sea and corn and it was amazing. Mole madre never disappoints

Amazing. Front start to finish.
The food is very good, however the service is very rushed. No wine pairing is offered. It felt like the staff was trying to get as many people in and out as quick as possible. I ordered a cocktail before dinner started and didn’t receive it until after I had finished the second course. 1/2 of the courses met expectations and were extraordinary however the other were more Japanese than Mexican which was disappointing. The chef’s restaurant in Oaxaca had the same issues. A huge disappointment for someone who traveled for the experience.
Excelente comida y servicio una vez que hemos tomado asiento. Sin embargo, normalmente en restaurantes (de esta categoria o con estrellas Michelin) se ofrece pasar a la barra por alguna bebida o snack mientras se espera la hora de la reservacion. Llegamos 30 min antes y se nos pidio regresar a la hora de la reservacion. Eso fue rudo e incomodo.
This was my fourth time and I was very disappointed in the menu now. Only veggie or fish options. My wife and I selected one of each and both were disappointing. The food was good, but nothing near what I've come to expect from Pujol. The drinks options were limited and all Mezcal based. They were good but overpriced for what they were - nothing you can't get at any other upscale restaurant in Mexico City for half the price. Overall this might have been one of the more disappointing meals I've had here (for upscale dining). I won't be going back until they make significant food and drink menu changes. I suggest go someplace else - you'll get better food at a much cheaper price.

This is the 3rd time I have been to Mexico City. I have wanted to come to Pujol since my first visit here. I finally got to go. However, being from San Francisco I have an abundance of options for excellent food, so I had very high expectations of this place. There are 2 different options for a 6 course menu. We ordered both. None of the dishes that were brought to us were stand out dishes. They were pretty good, that's all. The service was subpar and they will charge you for all of the water you consume without telling you.
There was a French couple sitting next to us and after mentioning they were French they had 4 servers serving them, while they neglected the other tables. Also, they got a tour of the kitchen, free mezcal tasting and 2 extra complimentary courses. So if your French make sure you mention it and if you are not maybe just pretend that you are.
All in all, the restaurant is not worth the money. Mexico City has excellent fine dining options and frankly this is my least favorite restaurant I have eaten at in my 3 trips here.
Buena comida, excelente lugar el sercicio bueno pero nada espectacular
This was by far my best restaurant experience of my life! From the atmosphere, to the food, to our waiter being very attentive. It was incredible. My favorite dish was this 2086 day old Mole. Something about it made me close my eyes and imagine all the flavors, time, and effort to make what it seems such a simple dish. Our meal lasted about 3 hours. Also, my boyfriend fell in love with the coffee. It's a must try! I would recommend anyone to come here.
The food and ambiance were spectacular, staff was friendly and very attentive. In my opinion something one must experience in Mexico City.
If you’re a fan of Mexican food and would like to try a fine dining take on it including some super traditional ingredients and recipes then you should probably try Pujol. Every dish was great and the depth of flavour in the mole was unbelievable. Staff always on hand to answer any questions and talk through dishes and ingredients. They even do good coffee which is often not the case even in places listed in world’s best restaurants.

Disappointing and the restaurant seemed to be overrated. The food only good in presentation but not thw taste. Almost all were too salty and or too sour or both too salty and too sour. The restaurant is very popular and hence very crowded. The service was not bad but also not on the level with many other fine dining restaurant. Responae to requests are very slow or forgotted..Maybe we had come with too high expectation?.
Immediately after the last couple was seated, we were rushed into making drink choices. The sommelier was very pushy and wanted us to get drinks as quickly as possible. When I asked for an aperitif, she said margarita is the best. I love a good suggestion but I want a recommendation not to be told what to get. It sounds like I’m splitting hairs but it was very uncomfortable.
Then, every time the main waitress (and the team) dropped off food, she would immediately interrupt the table and say “sorry to interrupt” RIGHT after putting the plates down. I understand if the table isn’t paying attention or giving us 15 seconds to pay attention but interrupting EVERY single course right after the plates were set down and saying “sorry to interrupt” feels incredibly abrupt.
The food was outstanding and the space is gorgeous but poor service can really impact a meal.

Exquisite in everyday. Everything was perfect, from our welcome, to our delicious street food amuses bouches, to the attentive service. And then finally out to the patio where we convened for digestives and dessert. And what a beautiful room!
This is one of the best restaurants in Mexico City and it certainly lived up to its reputation.

Dado que es un restaurante clasificado en los mejores (supuestamente) del mundo, se espero algo mejor de lo simplemente bueno. No fue el caso para nosotros, por lo menos en el dia que fuimos, y probamos ambos menus (maiz y mar) para tener todavia una seleccion mas amplia para poder apreciar lo que le habia dado a Pujol su puesto de restaurante numero 10 (creo) en el “50 best”.
Desafortunadamente, la experiencia fue, a lo mejor, banal. La comida aceptable pero las tortillas son muy por debajo de la calidad de un sitio como Expendio de maiz (en colonia Roma) por ejemplo, el pulpo era un poco duro (seguramente no optimo). El sommelier no supo recomendar un maridaje apropriado... solo el postre fue muy bueno y con mezcla de sabores y texturas muy interesante, pero el resto, realmente decepcionante.

We enjoyed the meal but our first drink did not arrive until the 3rd course and just the entire experience was not buttoned up. While I also enjoyed elements of the meal, it was sadly not my favorite. The waitress did work to make the end special and allowed us to try the different dessert from the corn menu that we asked for.

I had heard great things about Pujols tasting menu and was thrilled to find a time to get to visit when last in Mexico City. We did the late seating and the environment is magical, the service excellent and efficient, and the flavor combinations unexpected. We ordered the mais and the fish and shared - loved the experience for both but as seafood lovers the fish dishes were the winners for most courses. Note: they do not do a wine pairing but made nice suggestions for options from their wine cellar including some natural wines, which was great to see (and enjoy!). Looking forward to returning for the taco omakase!
