Puerto San Lucas
I particularly like your caesar salad and lasgagne. We ate here two times this visit to Grand Sol Mar and enjoyed it immensely. Our waiter was superb both times!
Very pretty atmosphere. Food was not great. The vegetarian vegetable soup tasted like it was out of a can of vegetable soup. The food was not hot. The service was very slow in spite of not being very crowded. I wish I could rate this restaurant higher as I have in the past because it is a very pretty setting and it is very convenient to Playa Grande. Will only return out of convenience. In the past I have rated this restaurant very high. It has declined in quality since last visit in 2015. Sorry to say.
We are staying at Playa Grande and thought we would take the free shuttle down the hill for seafood night. We won’t do that again. The scallops were flavorless, the waiter inattentive, the singer loud, the music bad... we should have stuck to our list of Cabo favorites. There are so many great restaurants in Cabo. It’s too bad Playa Grande doesn’t work harder to make this one of them. Excellent resort, bad restaurant. Live and learn.
We went on a specialty night prime rib. So some of the food selections the day before were not available. The salad was still delicious. The prime rib was a delight but I would have preferred the filet. Overall the experience was great. Our waiter was pleasant. We even enjoyed watching Mexican coffee prepared. It was awesome
The service was wonderful. They prepared our drinks at the table and the Caesar dressing.
Been there before but this time was not the best. Went on seafood night and didn't realize that. Scallops were fishy. Shrimp good.
We used to love this place, but they changed the menu, it is difficult to find anything on it, supposedly they have pizxa but wasn't on the menu! Service was good,as was the bread, but otherwise, I would never go back!
We have been to this restaurant each visit to Cabo and have enjoyed the food and the excellent pianist that plays during dinner. I had the tortini and the salad Provençal and it was vary good. My husband had the seafood fettuccini and the scallops and calimari were very spongy and tough. What we did notice that there were only three tables of people in this huge room, but our reservations were at 8:00. We wanted a 7:30 reservation but that was not offered on open table. I would recommend they add on the half hr reservations to open table , or if you want a reservation on the half hour, to go at that time. The pianist is absolutely fantastic—and he plays Fight of the Bumblebee very well!
There was a special seafood and lobster night on the evening of our reservation. There was a salad and dessert bar with table service for the drinks and entrees. The salad bar was not good. There was a green salad, raw cauliflower and broccoli as well as grilled carrot slices. There was a loaf of bread on a cutting board with a knife but no napkin or towel to hold the bread while cutting so people used their hands. Nothing had much flavor
I had the scallop skewers and my husband had lobster tails. The scallops were quite good and there were two large lobster tails in my husbands order. The lobster was tough and dry. Desserts were OK
Service was excellent. The waiter and assistant waiter were very attentive.
We had a great time at Puerto San Lucas. When you go ask for Alejandra. We went back 3 times because of Alejandra, not to mention the stea, lobster and risotto were amazing.
You MUST try this place if you happen to be in CSL.
Wait......ask about the open air massages right next door !
Service was great, servers were friendly and efficient, food was delicious. Definitely a restaurant to go to when in the area!
Slow service. Took an hour to get our food with almost no one in the restaurant. Flies were buzzing around the table. When we did get our food, it was wrong and had to be sent back. Food was not a large portion for the amount of money paid. We have gotten much larger portions for less at other restaurants in Cabo. Won't be back.
We travel to Cabo often and have always enjoyed this location. Parking is easy and away from the craziness of downtown. Sadly, the restaurant was nearly empty, prices are quoted in dollars and, for an empty establishment, the service was rather poor. Unfortunately, this will be our last visit.
Puerto San Lucas serves the best clam chowder we have ever had. The fresh fish was also delicious and the vegetables were perfectly cooked. An enjoyable evening in a quiet atmosphere. We'll go back.
Since this was New Years and we had not been in town at all since starting our vacation, we thought this would be a good start. The service was way too long, the restaurant didn't have any options and the New Year's Eve inner was subpar. My sister, husband, and goddaughter do not eat red meat, that's all they had. The salads were wilted and not good at all and the soup and the warm food tasted like Chinese...all in all, we will never go back to this restaurant
Great location, great food, great service. Would recommend highly if in Cabo San Lucas. We were staying at Playa Grande which is connected. Overlooks marina.
We had a great family meal at Puerto San Lucas. The staff was friendly and attentive. Loved the table side food preparation including salads, main course and Mexican coffee. We had an 8 month old with us and they did there best to entertain him and provide us with special treatment. I highly recommend Puerto San Lucas if you visit Cabo!
Went here for dinner with the family. Staff are very attentive and great with the kids. The food was great! Would recommend this to anyone.
Upscale Mexican right on the water with nice bay views. Great service and ambiance. Good was very good. If in Cabo, suggest you try.
