My wife and I had the Mahi Mahi with a wonderful coating of macadamia nuts.It is one of the best tasting meals I have had in Years. The flavors of the sauce were wonderful. The service was very good. We spoke with the owners wife and she explained that her husband makes all the components from scratch, even the mayonnaise. We will be back again.

Once again Pono was 5 STAR everything from hostess to finish. Their food never disappoints with several layers of incredible flavors. Preston's (chef) perfectly cooked fish to his amazing soups. His Tomato soup is by far the best I have ever tasted ( I do not like tomato soup) but I order it every time it is on the menu (it's seasonal). I had the butterfish, it was the best by far of any fish I have eaten in my 76 years. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation to eat here SOON. When is that Michelin Star coming?

One of the best Caesar salads I’ve ever had and delicious crab cakes. Husband had swordfish which he described as “moist and flavorful “.

From the warm welcome when we walked in we were treated to a great experience. Clay was friendly, knowledgeable and guided us through the menu. Too many good things to say the least. The tartar, soup and Caesar are each very unique with amazing flavors. We had the halibut and butterfish as entrees and did not disappoint. Can't wait to go back and try something different.
