My husband and I enjoyed a nice date night meal at Pithari. We had the Burrata appetizer, and it was absolutely delicious. The only thing we wanted was more of the toasted bread! I had the Blackberry Mojito cocktail and it was very refreshing, and my husband had a Manhattan that he was very happy with. For dinner, I had the Branzino Al Forno, and it melted in my mouth! The flavors were on point and the choice of vegetables accompanying the sea bass were perfect. I was only able to finish half of it, so I'm looking forward to enjoying the other half later. My husband had the Mediterraneo Salmon and he was very pleased with the portions and accompanying vegetables, and had to bring some home for later, as well! With dinner, we both had the Prisoner Unshackled Cabernet Sauvignon, which was very well-rounded and went well with our meals. The updated atmosphere in the former bank location is very inviting and cozy, and we look forward to returning for another meal and possibly a happy hour with friends!

This was the first time visiting Pithari and it will not be the last. Everything was wonderful, the service, ambiance, decorations, and especially the food. We went for lunch but some of us had dinner items, everyone was more than satisfied with their orders. We can’t wait to go back for brunch!

It is my great hope this restaurant succeeds. Lovely ambiance, friendly staff and good service but the food was a disappointment. The shrimp risotto had an unpleasant undertaste, the branzino was flavorless and served with a sauce way too pungent for delicate fish. Our companion liked the pappardelli but said the fresh pasta was a bit overcooked. The Mediterranean salad was bathed in a grated cheese that was not the typical feta. The menu was enticing but the food did not live up to it. Let’s all keep providing constructive feedback so it can become the go-to gem in Middletown, DE.

The food was amazing! Staff was great. We can’t wait to go back. Only thing that wasn’t perfect was the coffee. It was weak but we really enjoyed our date night.

The food was delicious. Our order was taken quickly and the appetizer came out right away. We had a but if a wait for our main course, but we weren't in a rush so it was OK. We split the Burrata (highly recommend). Main courses were the Santorini Chicken and Burgundy Beef. We then split the apple tartine. We will definitely be back and will be recommending this place to all our friends.

We were really excited to try this new restaurant. The Greek salad was excellent. My husband and I shared it. I had the beef burgundy which I heard was very good. A few pieces melted in my mouth the larger piece was full of gristle and very chewy and over cooked. My husband got the bolognese which had a lot of peppers in it which bolognese usually does not - they over powered the dish. The service was great and a nice atmosphere.

It’s good, we had a nice night. The best part of the meal was the appetizers, hummus and shrimp. They are new and I’m sure everything will get better with time.
