Girls upstairs weren’t super nice. We did book in advance and ask to be put outside and were seated at a small table both infront of the musician and beside the bar which was not at all hospitable for a date with my wife...
Luckily we were able to be moved downstairs and enjoyed that environment better. Was a touch disappointed as I’ve been in before and think highly of the venue... but wasn’t my best visit to the venue.

Food good, but not great. Have had better pizza elsewhere. Not bad though! Service also good but went during Covid and mask restrictions. Staff were excellent at ensuring we wore masks when necessary, however did not always wear them appropriately themselves which was frustrating to watch. Good experience but could be improved.

Food was great, would have preferred to be seated out on the balcony, but overall very good

Booked outdoor seating and was put inside the back corner. Not great service.

We used to come here often and loved coming here. We always sat downstairs, but on a recent visit had to sit upstairs because they weren’t offering dining downstairs. What a completely different experience, it was dirty, terrible service, and more of a pub dining experience. I wouldn’t bother going back.

A little bit issue on the speaker, maybe fix the subwoofer.

Traveled from Brisbane and Byron to catch up with family. Booked Pink Monkey a month in advance. Terrible service, seated downstairs, clearly in the "walk-by" section devoid of atmosphere. I suspect we weren't the "approved generation" despite our previous large tabs, big mistake!
Actually did us a favour, we ventured two doors down to Jimmy Wah's, amazing and food and brilliant service.

We went to see McKenzie play, great venue for younger people, bit noisy for me

Good food and drinks. Service was average. And the toilet shenanigans were a good story to re tell. Fun crazy place overall.

Poor service. The food was very average. The bar staff didn’t want to be there. Not very friendly. Might be a management issue? Not sure. We sat outside. First customers and all the cushions were everywhere. Just messy and uninviting. The table was sticky Just not a feel good experience. Won’t be back unfortunately.

Basic menu from Monday to Thursday. Only starters and pizza for main meals. If you don’t like pizza there is nothing for you. We left dissatisfied.

The food and cocktails are excellent however the customer service completely discredits the experience. I have been to the Pink Monkey 4 times because the Pumpkin & Sage ravioli, the Spanner Crab linguine and cocktails are irresistible unfortunately the customer service is disorganised and lacking. Management need to either rehire or retrain the staff or potentially restructure or replace management themselves. I have attempted to introduce new patrons to the restaurant however have left embarrassed as the people accompanying me complained heavily about the level of service.

Why wasn’t downstairs open as advertising? Too loud and not suitable for families upstairs. We left.

Staff need to know the menu, when you inquire about certain on the menu they don’t know, she goes to another staff member and they don’t know, goes to another staff member and they don’t know, she had to go to the chef and ask about it.
Not a big deal but maybe get them to study the menu a little

Unfortunately the tables behind where we were had a group of about 20 young men that were very noisy and perhaps oblivious to the other customers needs in the venue. It got to the point where it was so unpleasant that we had to cut our dinner very short and enjoy drinks somewhere else.

In regards to our food selection, the result was not the best either I'm afraid: my pizza was was very salty for my liking, whereas my partner's (vegetarian option) was much nicer.

The waitresses were absolutely amazing: attentive, polite, approachable and with a great attitude. Please pass our words of praise to them, they did a superb job despite how busy the place was.

My apologies if I am sounding too harsh, because I understand there are some circumstances that are out of your control when serving customers at a restaurant. Perhaps if our night wasn't as surprisingly uncomfortable as it was, or my expectations were somehow more realistic, maybe our experience at the restaurant would have been much more enjoyable and memorable.

Great food!

We had a beautiful lunch with beautiful service. We enjoyed it there very much and will definitely be back!

Worse service food was below average will never go back nor recommend. Management needs to take on constructive critism in a professional manner and all staff need retraining and work on people skills.

They folded me a paper crane for my friends birthday at my request which was super cute.
The Pizza took almost 45 minutes and came out after the the rest of us had finished our meals so that was a bummer.
Great pizza tho.

Food incredible. The man who directed us to our table was great, but the lady who served us throughout the night was hopeless, inattentive and did seem to care either.

Too busy, severely understaffed and we got told not too come in as the doors were closed even though we had a reservation. Eventually got in and all the staff were flustered.

Amazing food, great friendly service and good value...just a shame about a rowdy crowd who were let go on a bit long before being pulled up. Bit loud for a nice dinner for two. Overall though, can't fault anything else and we will definitely be back.

Fantastic little place, my first time there. Food was great and drinks were awesome. Once the live music started it was a fun atmosphere. Planning to come back here again soon

Staff was rude, the bartender gave us the wrong drinks and the lighting over the dance floor was too intense and made it uncomfortable.

Waiters couldn’t even take order correctly due to loud noise, charged me for drinks I didn’t order and didn’t give all food

The cocktails were the best part. I would go back just for drinks. The food was average unfortunately and overpriced. Wasn’t a very comfortable dining experience and we couldn’t wait to finish up and move on.

The musicians and vibes are great! However the service has gone downhill lately, the wait for drinks and food is so long, and they completely lost our food order.

This is the number one place to spend a Sunday sess or a relaxed dinner on the GC. Good vibes and happy times. The Vibe Creators supply the very best live music every Thursday night and Sunday. The service too is always great and the atmosphere is amazing. The quality of their food and drinks is equally as impressive. Wouldn’t go anywhere else :)
