Piccola Cucina Estiatorio
Authentic Sicilian dishes, really fresh and brought out hot when ready. Best arancini in NYC. Found my favorite Etna Rosa wine on their comprehensive Italian wine list.
Great value for your money... awesome food and good service very cozy where you actually feel at home
Too noisy and seats are too close together. Food was fair. Pasta was ok--not quite al dente. Octopus was not flavorful. Bruschetta was delicious.
Food was good - service was very good - small quaint place which started out great - large crowd came in which was fine but then the music volume doubled - I would go back based on menu
Food was delicious , true Italian cuisine , simple and wonderful. Our waiter Jacopo was great. Only thing I would change is maybe the lighting as it was kind of dark to read the menu
Great place to spend time with family and friends.
Loved it !!
Best pasta in NYC, the Cacio e Pepe is my favorite, also the pasta with lobster, the octopus... everything is just delicious.
Authentic Sicilian food . They are small in size but have a big heart with a great service. Wheelchairs , baby carriages , small children , the team makes you feel welcome... ah.. the food is excellent with a great service. Did i say that already?
This is a great restaurant. As soon as we walked in we were greeted kindly and shown to our seats. The service was equally as fabulous as the food. There were a good amount of items on the menu including the Arancini, which are authentic, Sicilian rice balls. The wine selection was ample and the decor was very cool. One thing that I will say is that I did feel a bit rushed. My son was finishing his meal and when he put his fork down, the waiter came by to ask if he was done 3 separate times until finally we just gave him the dish. It didn't turn me off enough to not go back. I would recommend.
My favorite Italian restaurant in New York City for so many reasons, it's impossible to list. If you haven't tried it, you must... if you've been before - you know what I'm talking about.
Great place to eat and great environment to be in.
Perfect in every way!
Food was phenomenal! If you love Italian food, this place is a must try!! We found it strolling through soho and just booked a reservation after reading other reviews online. We had the stuffed calamari was was unlike any other calamari we have tried and DELICIOUS. Burrata was also amazing. For dinner, we delved into the pasta special, lobster spaghetti and the ravioli paired with a glass of red wine. Overall 10/10. Will definitely be back!!!
Outstanding! Loved everything about this place. The food was absolutely amazing. Thank you. We will be back!!!
We went for Valentine’s Day. If you have a large group, opt for another place. Food and service was amazing. Cute and intimate space. Great for dates or tables of 2 or 4. Great selection of wine. Specials that night were great and our waiter was super engaging. I would highly recommend. I loved the open kitchen layout and rustic Italian feel. We will be back.
Amazing service. Will definitely take those visiting from out of town here.
perfect! everything was perfect !! a special thank for Erica !!!
Everything pretty much tasted the same. It wasn’t terrible but don’t know what all the rave was about. The orecchiette w calamari and pistachio was over salted. Couldn’t eat it. Tasted the same as the tagliatelle w pulpo except that the tagliatelle wasn’t over salted. The squid ink spaghetti was good but tasted the same as the two above minus the cream. There was barley any calamari or pulpo in either dish. Two small prawns in the spaghetti. Way too expensive for pasta w barely anything else. The Italian ceviche was good. But overall wouldn’t ever go back. Very disappointing.
As always, Piccola Cucina never fails to impress us. Fun vibe, great food, what else?
Es el restaurante mas divertido de NY!
Great the treat was awesome i deffintly come back
Birthday lunch for mom. They treated us like royalty
Great food and service. Loud, frenetic and fun. If your looking for quiet, traditional Italian, this really isn’t the place.
Authentic and Excellent Food.
TOO TOO TOO. NOISY. Solution Less Tables !!!!!!
WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE, I LOVED IT: THE FOOD, THE PEOPLE, THE AMBIANCE, THE SERVICE.. I WILL DEFINITELY GO BACK! THEY GOT ME. THANK YOU !!
The whole menu is delicious and the prices are quite adequate. Piccola Cucina brings you an experience of some of the best Italian food you can get in the City for a moderate amount of money. The whole staff is always friendly and willing to assist you in anything you may need.
A real gem of a spot with authentic food and service team! We had the black spaghetti (made from scratch), one with Lobster and the other with Lagustino, and both were stellar. The menu is definitely oriented toward fresh seafood which you may want to consider but all of it looks great. A fun vibe overall. Being a smaller restaurant a reservation is definitely a plus as they fill up quickly! Very happy with our experience.
The service is very kind. The waiters really care. Some of the dishes were good and some were not to our taste.
The real real problem is the amount of people seated in this tiny restaurant and the unbelievable noise. We measured it with an application that measures noice level and it was higher than 90 decibels which is already a dangerous level. It’s really incredible
You go to a restaurant to have a nice pleasant evening... you want to listen and talk with your partner and enjoy it. It’s not possible to do it when the noise level is so high and you neighboring tables are almost sitting in your plate.
Great experience , food and service was excellent, but noise level is exorbitant
Good food. Great ambiance.
Very good place. Friendly staff and very quality food.
Great atmosphere and such a great service from our waitress Erika. Overall everything went very well.
Love it here!
Grest experience at this restaurant. Very reasonable prices and the ambiance was great also. Our servers were professional and friendly. The food and wine was excellent!
good authentic sicilian italian. great service of all staff. my go to place. highly recommend cozy fun enjoy
Great experience, Alfio was professional and went the extra mile
I have been here three times now and it is by far my favorite Italian restaurant in Manhattan! The food is always delicious and the service is impeccable! Would highly recommend to any of my Italian family if they are in town. This location does pride itself on seafood so if you are not interested in seafood, I would consider one of the other locations nearby! 10/10
A little piece of Italy in the middle of NY. Great ambiance, staff and FOOD.
