Tables with lots of people should be a little apart...
We asked to move yesterday because there was a table with 10 noisy people just next to us.
Our server was fabulous.
The service was fabulous, the food delicious, and the view unbelievable! Celebrated a birthday celebration and they made it a wonderful night for our group! Thank you!!!
Our food took one hour to reach our table. Both our hamburgers were very over cooked. We had to get the waiters attention twice to refill our water.
Views are great. Food is great. Only draw back was a new waiter making assumptions. Shouldn't do that, especially if you're new. Other than that, great restaurant to enjoy with family and friends.
Great food !! Outstanding views.
A must dine when In Coronado .
Great service from waiter even for being an extremely packed night.
Such a great experience. Server, food, views….perfect ❤️
Service was very slow and restaurant was half empty i know staff is short these days but it was ridiculous to wait almost an hour for an appetizer and 45 min for our first cocktail. The food was cold and had no flavor at all wont be back here thats for sure.
Haven’t been here in years, and has changed a bit, but ambiance wise was relaxing, view of the harbor was phenomenal, food were good. Our server was not quite attentive and she was very forgetful, except her two trainees. One of the new trainee as I recall, was from Hawaii. Very friendly, professional, very attentive, kudos to that young Hawaiian lady who made our dining experience memorable. Mahalos 😘🌺
Overall very good. Reservation for 8pm, but didn't get seated until 820. What's the point of a reservation then? Our server was very good and friendly. Infact, all staff was very nice and accommodating. A bit slow as far as food and requests/refills. Food was delicious, but not worth the money. For the amount I paid per meal, there should've been at least 2 sides and much larger side portions. Should include a soup or salad. Instead just a little scoop of potatoes. Very tasty, though. Great steak and prime rib. Great ambiance. Wasn't too loud. Will be back, eventually.
Food ordering and service was very slow and staff were slow to light the nearby heaters.
The food was amazing. My ooooonly slight compliant is that the blackened option was too salty. We both had sea bass, and the Pinot noir reduction was amazing. I'd say get sauteed or the other one if you want dock to dinner.
Ambience was very nice. Great views of the city. Spacing between tables adequate. Service was poor. Although we had a reservation we ended up waiting 20-25 minutes. Once seated we got no attention for another 15 minutes. Then silverware and water was plopped down and another 10 minutes before a waiter came. The food certainly did not make up for all of the waiting. What we ordered was fair to good. The sourdough rolls, though, were excellent.
Beautiful waterfront restaurant on San Diego Bay. It was a little windy for outside dining but we had a great indoor table and could watch dozens of sailboats while waiting for our meal. This is mostly a seafood restaurant but there are enough choices for non-fish eaters. The house salad was huge. The sea bass was excellent and the lava cake dessert was like eating fudge. We hadn't been there for quite a while since we don't live in the area but it's just as good as always.
Excellent dining experience. Beautiful location, excellent service by our waiter Bryan Z. We shared a shrimp cocktail and the mandarin orange and pecan salad, the house special. Sea bass and halibut were delicious. Wonderful evening to celebrate.
I went there for the macadamia crusted tilapia, so I was disappointed that that was not available at lunch, as I’ve been looking forward to for a couple months..
There was a big party next to me and lots of people behind me and come close to our table to take pictures. It was kind of annoying and my fries had too much salt. Besides that everything was great
Pretty view, almost no one else there. Expensive! Don't bother with the lobster bisque.
Best prime rib ever! GREAT HAPPY HOUR TOO. We would definitely return!
It was a wonderful experience. My friend and I have birthdays this month and we celebrated there. It was her first time being there. She loved it. One of my favorite places to eat.
Always enjoy Peohe’s. I vegan and they made the best Vegan Pasta for me.
very nice and calming
The food was not great, neither the service or our drinks. This was my second time here in a week. It was definitely better on the weekday with my server David than the lady I had on Sunday. I ordered a coconut margarita on Wednesday and the same drinks was delicious. As well as my steak. But this time she said they can’t make me a coconut margarita,
I insisted they did before. When it came it was not the same, I had to send my drink back. The NY steak was so chewy, tough and over cooked. I clearly could not finish it like the drinks but she didn’t care for it. Brigantine food isn’t great either but atleast their service is spectacular. The service was so slow, the place was half empty. I felt like she was just waiting for us to pay, it took her a while everytime she left to come back. We were sitting outside and our table was the only one without candles so it was really dark, I couldn’t see my food. I felt like it was a waste of a Sunday dining here just to be disappointed.
We were a party of 8 on a Saturday night. We were seated quickly. The service was a bit slow, but that may be because we are just getting out of the pandemic. The food was excellent: sea bass, salmon, chicken, and pupu platter. The lobster and king crab were very good but the waiter forgot the king crab so that came at the end when we were done. The fried shrimp was not really a meal (though advertised as a meal; just very small portions). Good selection of craft beer and the specialty cocktails were great (get the pomegranate martini, tasty and just the right amount of vodka). We all got the same dessert (good for two to share), macadamia nut ice cream with brownie crust (called NO KA OI). Very good and not too filling, if shared. Overall a good experience and we all will be back. Great for a stroll along the water after.
What an incredible experience and the best Landry’s restaurant we have been to, hands down! As a Landry’s select member and having dined at them in 11 States we really enjoyed this experience. The restaurant was so well done from the waterfall effect by the door, the restaurant ambiance and the outside dining experience with the view was fantastic. The sea bass was great, the prices were exactly were appropriate and the service was good (Teagan worked very hard). I believe the restaurant is struggling line other businesses to find people willing to work when the government is paying so well to do nothing as the managers were all busing tables on a Saturday night to turn them.
The restaurant is very good, the outside dining was tremendous and all cared about our dining experience! My family enjoyed it a great deal, we were not rushed and it was a great place to celebrate our anniversary.
Reserved table for 2 at 5 PM, got seated after 20 mins of waiting. Then our table wasn’t ready, no table cloth, plate, utensils as in wasn’t ready. I asked the host if we can sit on the other table that’s already been prep and she refused. The host was not good at all, the manager was good but with that experience I think they need to retrained there employees. I’m Asian and we feel we got descriminated.
Server told us the “King Crab was at least 2 pounds”. Not even one pound. Very disappointing. The Chart House in Dana Point gives you twice as much and also a Landry’s Restaurant
The food was horrible. You're basically paying for the view and ambiance. I expected more from a Chart House restaurant but was thoroughly disappointed.
Great service, outstanding food, wonderful views of the water and San Diego.
I have always loved the Macadamia crusted Mahi Mahi that has been a staple at Peohe's. Something has happened. It was not near the quality of the past. Fish, while fresh, was just so-so. My husband had the swordfish and was not impressed. Our service was excellent and the view spectacular....but better fish is available in this beautiful city.
Average in all respects
Excellent value compared to places like Serea. Good ambiance. Artichoke appetizer is unique. Sushi only fridays and Saturday’s. Parking a bonus. Hard to go wrong with value. Fish is fresh.
Great food, nice ambiance. My husband and I both had the Chilean sea bass and it was outstanding! Highly recommend this place if you’re in Coronado.
The menu has changed and is not as good as it used to be. The moscato sangria I ordered was not as good as I expected it would be. It tasted more like a midori sour than a moscato sangria. Also, if you’re not sitting in the bar during happy hour, you’re not allowed to order or get the prices from the happy hour menu?! I also expected more from the kimchi calamari, but it was mostly thinly battered sliced vegetables consisting of sweer potatoes and zucchini, hardly any calamari.
Always good. The clam chowder is the best ever. Tom our waiter was especially helpful🌹
Lunch was delicious, the view was spectacular and such a gorgeous day!! Our waiter was busy but great and we didn’t mind being patient and enjoyed chatting while we waited for our meal
My wife and I always enjoy coming here. Great views and the staff is always so nice. Went for our anniversary a couple years ago and we now make a point to always go back each year.
Great food, service, view! We’ll definitely be back.
