The server was very accommodating. Serving and food was top notch.
Enjoyed the time spent there. Food was excellent and service was "on spot". We frequently go to Peohe's but have been unable to during this pandemic. Hoping they can open soon and fill their restaurant.
Enjoyed our Birthday dinner at Peohe's. Peohe's is our first choice in selecting a venue for our special day.... because of the quality of service, food, and ambiance this restaurant has to offer. Thank you.
Great service ; food and location, nice little area
Fabulous view of San Diego skyline while dining on the deck. Good distance between tables. Pleasant service and an umbrella to protect from the afternoon sun. Excellent food (I had the coconut shrimp) . I would recommend Peohe's and have done in the past but this is the first time returning since the new rules brought about by the pandemic.
Always good service and food. They try their best
My wife and I had a great meal and Thomas, our waiter was great.
Had a great time
Birthday party for 7. We had a large table outside with No umbrellas. Weather was real sunny. We dragged one over from an empty table. We still needed more. Told the person that seated us but really nothing happen. Finally another table became empty so we dragged that one over. There was 2 tables in the corner that was in the shade but we were not offered it.I think they should had taken better care of us. The salads and sea food was good. Several guests had the fish tacos and they were so so is what they said. Not that great.
So we were a little disappointed
Our server Ben was excellent. We arrived during a busy period, one of our entrees was cold upon arrival, service a little slow, our server comped us on dessert to compensate for the wait. We will come back because it’s a great spot to eat and spend a relaxing afternoon. This is the first time we have experienced a problem with the food.
Food good. Wine so so. Sorry to see Flanagan Chardonnay no longer on wine list.
Great atmosphere and the view was amazing! Shoutout to Twee, she was such a great server! Will be coming back soon!
Good food!! Definitively I’m coming back.
Our service was poor. We felt like we were an inconvenience being there to our server… She was very rushed and did not take her time with us. After drinks appetizers of soup and salad we ended up leaving never even having our main course or dessert. We were very disappointed as we really looked forward to eating at Peohe’s. Our soup was cold also.
Great food and service. View was amazing. Thank you and cannot wait to return
We enjoyed beautiful views. My Chilean sea bass was so delicious! My husband enjoyed his prime rib. Our server, Nathan was friendly and attentive. Tables on the patio are not crowded and there are many heaters.
We had heard positive things about Peohe's so decided to give it a try for a recent outing, but sadly were a little disappointed. Let's start with the positive, the setting is beautiful, directly on the bay in Coronado. Parking was easy, and it happened to be a beautiful day. They have outdoor seating, which was spaced for a safely distanced experience. Service, we thought, was slow, but our server was pleasant and helpful. My husband ordered the ahi salad, served rare and I the famous fish and chips, plus the steamed artichoke for a starter and the lava cake for dessert. The artichoke was served hot and tasty with butter and sauce, and was delicious. When our mains arrived, the disappointment began. The ahi was more well than rare, with no pink showing at all, plus the portion for the price was rather lacking. It had to be returned for a replacement. The fish and chips was served with three pieces of fish and plenty of fries, but they tasted like they had been sitting for a while. The coating on the fish had absorbed the fat and steam and was soggy, not crispy and had more of a hush puppy consistency. On the plus side, the fish inside was excellent. Back to the ahi ... it took a very long time for the replacement dish to come out, apparently because of a miscommunication between the server and the food runner. When it did arrive the ahi was fresh and tasty, but still a bit over valued. The lava cake finale was decadent and delish, and we found ourselves practically licking the plate. Bottom line, the starter and dessert were excellent but we found the mains to be pretty pedestrian. There are much better fish and chips in town and more creative ahi salads. But, the view and ambiance are hard to beat. We will return, but will make different choices ... except perhaps on the amazing lava cake.
I absolutely recommend to order the King Carb king they give a really good amount of it, it was very delicious
Food is a little over priced, compared to other seafood restaurants.
Beautiful views. Service perfunctory and slow. Halibut and coconut shrimp overcooked. Key lime pie very good. Overall, dissatisfied.
Nathan was amazing best service felt like good old San Diego!
Incredible view, awesome waiter, the best valentine’s experience i could have asked for
Amazing service, amazing food, amazing views. Even on a busy day like Valentine’s Day our server Thomas never forgot about us and seemed more than happy to help us have a good experience. Will most definitely be coming back to this restaurant time and time again.
Great location with the best view of downtown San Diego. There were plenty of heaters that allowed outside setting very comfortable. Service and food were spectacular.
We had reservations for a month and they still were 30 minutes late seating us. Then we are watching our waiter rush around because there are not enough servers for the amount of guests. The food came quickly but nothing throughout the night made up for the fact that we were sat 30 minutes after our reservation. Very mediocre ambiance/service/food for the price. Will not be going back.
Perfect service and everyone was nice. I recommend Peohe’s for a nice date night with your significant other.
Was the best place me and my wife came too! the service was amazing, and the food was delicious, totally recommend!!
I love this place. It's one of my favorite restaurants for a special occasion.
Honestly, for going out on Valentine's Day, I was very impressed with our service and how amazing the food came out. Our waitress was kind enough to offer her top favorites that we ordered and absolutely loved. Seared Ahi and Steamed Artichoke were my favorites. We will definitely be going back soon!
Both soups we had were fishy. The fish was over cooked and over salted. The crab stack tasted old and full of mayonnaise. The best part of the meal was the bread and even that was average. The service was also terrible.. sat with empty drink glasses for 30 minutes. Never will go back.
Everything about Peohe’s was great. The views are amazing, the food is worth the price and the service is outstanding. A big thank you to the staff, especially Thomas, for making it a special Valentine’s Day! Absolutely recommend this place.
Always great food and drink, and the staff is always friendly.
The location was great and considering that is was Valentines, staff moved us to our table only 20 minutes after our reservation appointment. I would normally be upset but all things considered, not bad. The service was ok. We ordered appetizers and nearly 30 minutes later the server informed us that the kitchen was out of that specific appetizer. They asked if we wanted something in replacement but they kitchen was nearly out of all appetizers at this point (our appointment was at 1:15pm, a bit early to be running out of food). We opted for no appetizers and instead asked for bread. It took almost 15 minutes for the server to bring bread. When our food finally arrived, the food was great but not extraordinary. Overall, I would go back to this place for the ambiance but I will likely not do it on a busy holiday. They were definitely not prepared for the rush of people.
Quality of food does not live up to location. Very disorganized on Valentine’s Day.
Thai Chicken roll-No Flavor. Sushi roll rice - Undercooked. Artichoke - Over cooked and water from artichoke spilled into clarified butter when served. Prime rib french dip sandwich tasted like ordinary roast beef. Not a memorable experience for Valentines day at all.
My favorite waterfront restaurant ... delicious...great
Food was great but not hot because the server was terrible. He was very slow and our food took forever. Also, asked multiple times to turn on/fix the heater and it never happened.
Valentines Day. Eggs Benedict were overcooked.
Absolutely beautiful! We will be going back again!
Overall good food good place to take you love one..
