Excelente lugar, el cheesecake fuera de lo común y de los postres más ricos qué he comido en mi vida. Aunque no esta en la carta regularmente, se tuvo en menu especial.

Excelente atención. La presentación, calidad y sabor de los alimentos de lo mejor, los tacos de cachete una delicia.

Dinner was delicious! Our servers were super sweet and friendly and helpful with explaining parts of the menu to us. We enjoyed everything, especially the crispy beef tacos, the beef tongue and scallop tostada, and the pork jowl. The tostada was insanely delicious! Dessert was exquisite and unique, with a Mamay flan, with cactus honey and chocolate mushroom powder. Overall, a fantastic dining experience for our honeymoon trip to Mexico City!

Food is excellent! This is place is for foodies willing to explore great Mexican flavors! The combination of ingredients and presentation of dishes makes it a unique experience. Service was good but slow, even that we had a great experience. We will come back!

Had a great experience and our waitress was amazing in her knowledge of the cuisine also she was very attentive. The food was excellent.

Food was beautiful but lacked flavor. The ingredients were cooked well but no dish was as good as each ingredient taken by itself.

Buenas intenciones; de hecho: las mejores intenciones. Pero mala ejecución. Los platillos de regulares a malos, con la excepción notable de unos tacos de cachete bastante buenos y unas bolitas de plátano que también se defendieron. Porciones demasiado pequeñas, pero dado el sabor, no estuvo tan mal que fuera así. Un cebiche con pitaya para olvidar. Los postres: el horror. Un chocolate con textura que regresamos por malo ¡y en vez de disculparse y ofrecer algo mejor, nos lo cobraron de todas formas! Un flan de mamey muy insípido. Servicio joven y afable que no compensa la mediocridad de la cocina. Los precios no se justifican con esos platillos. Buenas ideas que necesitan nuevo chef para ver si resultan.

There were 3 tables filled. We did tasting menu. Service was so awkward. The food was fair. We asked to stop the service paid the full bill tripped them and left to go eat someplace else. It was torture. The service was so awkward

Excellent dining experience! This is one of our favorite spots in Mexico. Unpretentious, authentic and creative food that surprises. An absolute must in Mexico City!

Cuando entregan el menú de alimentos y de vinos no dicen de que ya no hay disponibilidad. De 5 elecciones que hicimos no tuvieron 4. Eso no habla bien del lugar ni del servicio. Bastante caro para mi gusto para lo que es.

La comida está bien pero no nos quisieron dar una guarnición de verduras extra que pedimos. Nos dejó un poco desilusionados.

La comida muy buena y creativa, el servicio adecuado . Por alguna razón muy desangelado. Éramos 2 mesas. Carta de bebidas muy completa . Vinos bien seleccionados. En general recomendado para aquellos que son apasionados de la gastronomía y no buscan un gran ambiente. Regresaremos por su comida principalmente.

Had an amazing experience tonight. My fiance and I are visiting Mexico from US and wanted to have a nice romantic dinner. There were a lot of options such as pujol or qunitoli but decided to try something less known and we were in for a treat. Service was amazing, every attentive. Food was well executed with very unique ingredients and more so very balanced in taste. Definitely an experience you do not want to miss.

Our waitress was phenomenal (didn’t catch her name, she’s the one with glasses)! She absolutely made our experience as she was knowledgeable about all the dishes and the perfect food and drink pairings, and provided amazing recommendations for places for more drinks after dinner. Bravo!

My good friend and I were on vacation in Mexico City, and Pehua was recommended by our hotel concierge. We were looking for something more traditional/authentic Mexican, and this was perfect! The food was delicious (soft shell crab was our favorite!), and our waitress was amazing. We ordered the tasting menu with the pairings, and she took the time to explain all the dishes and the pairings. I have friends who are visiting soon, so I will be sure to recommend the restaurant to them!

La degustacion de 12 platos muuuy buena y llenadora, excelentes tragos y carta de vinos. El servicio buenísimo!

Wine list is lacking as well is the cocktail list.
Many dishes were lacking flavor.
The suckling pig was cold and the plate was warm.
One person had a severely undercooked piece of fish.
Drink orders were messed up a few times.
Very disappointed in the tasting menu.

The food was hit or miss, some dishes really delicious, others quite mediocre. The service, however, was bad for any restaurant, not to mention fine dining. We were served food without silverware, given wine without glasses. They asked several times what we wanted to order before we had been given menus. Throughout the course of the meal we interacted with easily 5-6 different servers but none of them seemed to be communicating with each other. Very disappointing overall experience.

I was there with my wife and sister in law. We were in town to visit Mexico City. PEHÜA was an amazing experience from the ambiance, food presentation, service, and food itself. The food is definitely not what you think about when you think about Mexican food. It’s New Mexican cuisine.

The service was very good, everyone was very friendly, and the place is nice, yet my experience did not meet my expectations. The food was ok, but not exquisite (though it was beautifully presented). It is not at the level of what the restaurant aims to be. We had a bottle of Cru Garage Sauvignon Blanc, which did not suite our taste at all.

Food was very good and the space is cool. Probably a great spot to have in the neighborhood if you live there. Service was great. Seemed under staffed. We seemed to spend a lot of time waiting, for table, for drinks, to give our order, for food. But the flavors were awesome and if we weren’t so exhausted when we arrived the leisurely pace might have been fine.

Gran lugar y calidad precio excelente

Very nice experience. For me it has better balanced menu compare to Pujol and less complicated than Quintonil. And more over price is more friendly than other 2 reataurantd and staffs are very passionate about their offerings. Definately one of top noch dining you can find in Mexico city. Overall strongly recommend. I will totally come back when they change their menu on July.
