Excelente comida y buen ambiente. Servicio excelente.
Actually good for any occasion. Service was outstanding and friendly.
Tried Parc for the first time as we'd heard about it from others. Really pleasurable experience. Oysters on the half shell w/ accompaniments. French onion soup that is amazing. Entrees were delightfully done. And the bread...! Yay.
This visit was the third sub-par experience at Parc. I am sad because it has been a favorite for many years and I did not write earlier because I had hoped it was just bad luck or an off night but after 2 mediocre dinners and 1 poor brunch, I had to write. On all 3 occasions, the service was slow and not attentive as in the past. The support staff while extremely nice is now disorganized. I used always talk about the excellent service here, not anymore. The food is now hit or miss. My wife's short rib hash gave her a stomach ache and we will not be returning. Sorry, goodbye Parc-Bistro. I loved you for many years, but with the change of general managers, you are not the same.
We have enjoyed Parc Bistro-Brasserie several times.
We were disappointed in our visit on Sunday. The service was very poor. We waited a long time to order and at least 30-40 minutes for our food to arrive, once ordered. While the food tasted pretty good, there were issues with the temperature of the food (cold to warm at best). Our grandson's crepes were burnt to a crisp on one end. The restaurant was not full, so really no excuse for the food being subpar. The presence of our waiter was almost non existent, so registering a complaint was not really possible. Sadly, we may not return. Can't make a recommendation at this point.
a very pleasant and amenable place to meet and eat.
Love everything on the menu. service is always awesome.
Wonderful vibe. Great music, service and food.
Our meals were very slow to come out and we had tickets to a show so we felt very rushed. Food was tasty and server was good…when she was around.
An early Saturday night dinner (5:45p) for my wife and me prior to an Old Globe play.. A lot of street construction going on in this Banker's Hill location on 5th,, parking can be a challenge. The increase in outdoor eating space creates a little bottleneck at the reception desk, but staff were masked and very efficient in seating us. I noticed a band set up across from the bar near the entrance; something I hadn't seen before. We were seated at a two-top near the back of the forward dining area. We noticed a lot of server training going on, and that the owner was bussing tables along with welcoming guests. We later heard that the restaurant is experiencing staffing shortages, unfortunately a common observation at San Diego restaurants right now. Jenn, aided by several other servers ,took care of our drinks, appetizers and dinner, and did an exceptional job. We noticed immediately that the menu was missing the prix fixe option we had known since opening.. a disappointment, but not unexpected. Food was delicious - zucchini blossoms, then pasta and beef bourguignon. The however of the evening came as the band picked up the volume and tempo, the French bistro mood evaporated. Perhaps a quieter, more restaurant (as opposed to bar) oriented selections would be more enjoyable.
Great dinner before the theater - Old Globe. Service was attentive, food was excellent; made a great start to the evening!
Their sea bass and scallops/shrimp combo are excellent. Their lobster mashed potatoes are amazing. We also love Parc Bistro for weekend brunch, delightful tasty combinations with good portions, you won't go away hungry.
Excellent service and great food. Definitely planing one returning for more.
I love Parc! Everything is delicious and service is excellent. Have the Lavender martini and be happy!
Our Favorite go to restaurant in the neighborhood!
My neighborhood fave! Parc Bistro never disappoints!!
The best French restaurant I have been to in San Diego! The food is very unique and delicious. Warm and cozy feels and vibes! We had a great waiter and told us exactly what we would like and what pairing of wine we would like with that! Will be back very soon
Staff is excellent, food is delicious and overal experience unforgettable!
Will definitely return .
We had the pleasure of dining at this beautiful French bistro before a recent performance in Balboa Park at the Old Globe Theater. Parc Bistro-Brasserie has both upscale interior seating and patio seating out front. The service was excellent, the decor and ambiance classy and the food was outstanding. We'll be back! Thank you :)
there were serious issues with the food and drinks
Amazing! Nilton, our server, was fantastic. Thought of everything we needed before we did. A true delight. Food was fabulous. Far surpassed expectations for the price. Ambiance was fun and light and friendly. Making for an exceptional morning.
Food was good but too pricey. Service was great
Everything was wonderful: the service, food and wine. The branzino perfect!
Outdoor seating was great. Food and service were excellent. Great people watching!
Pre- theatre and Birthday celebration and this place was perfect! Wonderful variety on the menu and all 6 entrees were delicious! Staff was extremely courteous and efficient. Ambiance was very pleasant! This was our first visit and definitely will not be the last! Loved it!
Great wine selections but pricey. Food this good is very hard to come by. Wonderful for brunch or dinner.
Beautiful food and beautiful service
portions are smaller Prices are higher
Dinner before a show at the Old Globe. Great service, really good food, overall fun evening. They offer a very diverse menu, something for everyone. I've tried a few of the dishes and each one was very enjoyable. I would recommend Parc Bistro for any night of the week!
Nice restaurant, all dinner selections looked amazing, shrimp and scallop main was excellent as was the salmon. Great wine list. Would recommend.
Wild mushroom ravioli is to die for. Also house favorite scallops and shrimp. I down rated a bit because I was unhappy with the salmon appetizer. It was way too salty and had a disappointing presentation. Beet salad also could have better presentation but the golden beets melt in your mouth and are so sweet as to taste almost candied. I have this restaurant on my favorites list forever and I understand why it is so highly rated.
Parc is always the best! It’s great that they are doing a wonderful Happy Hour again! It’s a delicious and varied selection. And they’re ahi and waygu tartare appetizers on their regular menu are FABULOUS.
We had such a wonderful lunch and that was on top of the street being a bit noisy and another large party being VERY loud.
We were so warmly greeted by the hostess and she was so sweet to accommodate our request to change to outside seating. The wait staff was so attentive and wonderful. The food was absolutely delicious and top notch.
We'll definitely be back and we thank you for having such amazing team members to heighten the dining experience. After all we've read about staffing issues, we are so grateful for your wonderful team and their attentiveness and white glove touch.
Great meal, and Elena made it a wonderful experience.
Best service I have had in 2 years! Excellent food and timely!
Outstanding menu and the food lived up to it!
Our server was great.
Love visiting San Diego and this is a restaurant that I look forward to going to again
As usual great service and food. The petite fillet was excellent, and service was great!
