Panorama Bar & Grill
This was the first visit to this hotel and restaurant. We had breakfasts twice and overall pleased with the experience. It was interesting having breakfast potatoes that included 4 or 5 kinds, including sweet potatoes. The most highest price item was eggs, potatoes, meat choice and toast and expensive at $23.00!
We decided to get food in the room the first morning, but had to pick it up since they don't provide room service at this time. When we ordered we were told it would be 15 minutes and planned accordingly. Less than 5 minutes later we received a call it was ready, but we weren't yet to go get it! Needless to say it was at best warm by the time we picked it up and brought it back. My wife had ordered the breakfast burrito which was supposed to come with salsa, but had not been included in the bag.
The next morning we ate in the restaurant. Beautiful setting overlooking the harbor. Service was exceptional. Food was great and hot off the grill.
I'm not sure about other meal options, but breakfast was a little more expensive than we expected. However, overall a very nice place and convenient.
The only real issue we had was that they close between 3pm and 5pm and are the only place to get food on/near the property. They should be available for at least finger foods/appetizers during this time.
Great service and food was really good. There was a live band at the lounge next door that was also good and entertaining.
The atmosphere was very nice. The service, for as limited as the customers were , was slow. The food was very good, however, the portions were extremely small for the price that we were charged.
Not crowded, easy to get seat indoor or outdoor right next to the water. Very fresh food and well prepared. The liege waffle is to die for; it's hidden in the breakfast combination that says you get a choice of bread or waffle.
Not the seafood place we were hoping for. They had a very limited menu. We ended up walking out before we ordered.
Good option if staying at the hotel. Not sure I’d come here from the outside, necessarily. Food was good, though a bit limited on options. Service was outstanding - everyone was friendly, engaging and accommodating.
We asked if there were any steaks since The website indicates this is a restaurant that serves steaks. The server that maybe there was a ribeye special for $32. She said it came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. We ordered the steak dinners for two people. We also ordered a Caesar salad. Our server came back to let us know that the special was actually $38. We agreed to pay the difference.
About 15 minutes later a person brought our steaks to the table. We never received our Caesar salad‘s. The steaks or being served with the mashed potatoes and a vegetable medley with broccoli, green beans, squash, and tomatoes. I asked for asparagus, since that’s what I thought I would be getting, and they did bring me some at no additional charge. about five minutes later our server showed up with our Caesar salad. Oh you turned it away at that point. We were hoping for a salad prior to receiving our dinner. The meal itself was pretty good but I felt like the service and communication with the guest and kitchen was lacking. We won’t be going back.
We had a very good experience. The only downside is that the menu is very limited, but the food provided was very good.
The food was amazing the service excellent! And the view of the Marina and sunser were lovely!
Menu is seriously truncated. Food is barely snack bar quality. Do not recommend.
Personable, attentive service. Menu was limited but that was not unexpected. The place needs a good cleaning and an update.
We made reservations and they weren’t open when we got there. Given their location It was very inconvenient.
It is a nice ambience. The steak was half the thickness of anywhere else i have tried, but it was tasty. The waitress made inaccurate and inappropriate statements regarding our dining card thinking we don’t know how it works. So we didnt appreciate that.
Great food, but the space inside is run down and tired. The wait staff was fantastic and friendlyz
Found fly on our drinks but it was easy fix, small lunch menu and the vibe was very quiet
Went for Mother’s Day. Wendy took good care of us. Salmon, burger and the pot roast/ribs were all tasty. It was very relaxing as we have the view of the harbor/sail boats. Will definitely go back.
Mother's day menu was absolutely too small, must be due to covid supply issues but you weren't informed until you sat down.
My Mother and I had a lovely lunch for Mother’s Day. Service was fabulous and the good was fresh and hot! Next time we will go for breakfast!
The server was excellent make sure our drinks were taken care of. Braised ribs were excellentAs well as my chicken sandwich with a side of fruit instead of fries. We are locals and we really enjoy this place.
Do not go here unless it’s in the evening, or you are staying at that hotel. Went in the early afternoon, there were no tables in the dining room, so they put us in “the lounge” and it was very awkward. Just us at a miniature table and 4 staff hanging out by the bar. No views, limited menu, and nothing but confusion (to include how to get into the restaurant).
Not what I expected. The menu is very limited. The view isn’t what the website portrayed. It’s opposite of the bay to see the sunset
Restaurant was quiet, only a few people dining. We had early seating at 4:00 p.m. and the service was fast. Thank you Richard for being a fast and friendly waiter 😊
The wait staff was extremely slow and inattentive.
Fish & Chips very good/Halibut
Great waitress, we have been there many times because it’s next to our boat and sometimes too tired to go anywhere else. Food is ALWAYS lacking in quality.
These poor servers! They are doing an amazing job! This restaurant needs to post their extremely limited menu. There are like 7 things to eat. A little misleading but the service is outstanding. Understand they need a limited menu but korean spring rolls, blue cheese salad, and bbq cashews (bar nuts) seems extreme. Maybe some standard apps like a cheese plate, calamari, and ahi poke along with the three salads and some more seafood-centric mains. You have an amazing view of the harbor and sunset, and the drinks were excellent. Just wish there had been some more thought put into the menu and PR since the pricing has not changed. Hopefully, they resolve that soon so this place stays afloat.
Peaceful and quiet chill place!
Great location overlooking bay and boats. However they have not fully recovered from crisis mode. Menu selection for dinner was extremely limited. 1/3 of th menu was breakfast menu. Hope they commit to full menu again because wasting a great location
Service was horrible. Had to wait 20 minutes before a server even acknowledged our party despite passing by our table several time.
It was great. Service was good not great. The place was busy. The food was great.
This place is pricey but the food is great!
The meal was great and the wait staff attentive.
The music from the bar was ridiculously loud. We asked if they could close the door between the bar and dining area - 10 minutes a waitress reopens it!! The food was good but it came out cool from the kitchen - there were seven people in the dining area - how can that happen!
No Christmas decorations, empty, limited menu
Our food was nothing like in the pictures. It tasted like a Sysco special, straight out of the can. Our waitress ma an off-color joke at the beginning of our meal, which soured our experience. This was definitely a one and done restaurant experience.
Had wonderful time at Panorama for SDRW. Beautiful setting and very comfortable lounge and dining room, all with views if the harbor. Very friendly and professional service. Food was prepared and served hot and on time as expected. Would definitely return and recommend. Thanks for a great time.
Everything is perfect the view the manager the food the two girls that waited on us and most of all JG Gosset, amazing musician!!!
Had breakfast here last Friday while staying at the Hotel. Very nice inside with views of the Marina. My had the two eggs any style while I had the eggs benedict. Both were very good. The staff are friendly and on point. A little pricey but, that is what you expect for a hotel restaurant.
The butter served to us had a eyelashes with mascara and my food had hair! It was disappointing! The food there is nothing special! The view is nice!
They called and canceled our reservation said they had other plans for their venue
