So far this has been our best dining experience in the Akumal/Tulum area. Such a hidden gem with amazing views, phenomenal service, and some of the tastiest fresh food!
If you are in Tulum, don’t miss a chance to go to this restaurant. It is great for couples but also can accomodate families of well behaved children. High quality food and drink with a namaste atmosphere.
Beautiful setting but totally overpriced. Very boring and basic food. No vegetarian options which was also complicated for us. A better place to go for drinks and watch the sunset than have a meal.

A group of us came here for lunch and the ambiance was beautiful. This place is stunning. The food was okay, our servers kept messing up our orders and when we ordered champagne it was completely flat. The Ceviche was delicious.. this place received 3 stars because it has potential I just wish that the servers were better and more attentive.
We had such great experience the first time and so glad we decided to return again. The fresh homemade lobster pasta that I had was as good as any homemade pasta I had in Sicily last year. The grill steak that my husband had was perfectly cooked. We took our time to enjoy the bottle of champagne to celebrate our anniversary and got to enjoy a stunning sunset on their beach deck. Before we left we shared a grilled shrimp salad and one order of tuna tostada which were so tasty that make me not want to wait until our next visit. Macelino and Daniel also took great care of us. Overall, one of the best experiences we have had in Tulum
Me and my husband had dinner at Pandano. Had no idea what to expect. And what a surprise! The place is breathtaking and the food was just incredible. We were seated just by the beach, so so romantic.We realized it was going to be great because one of the chefs was actually making in that moment fresh pasta and ravioli. I mean fettuccini were hanging from this beautiful wodden cart while he was doing ravioli.
Of course that was what we had, lobster fettuccini for my husband and i had ravioli with lobster . They were just insane.
A very light and delicate beef carpaccio we shared as a starter. Excelent!!
As dessert we shared a tibio
Chocolate which it s basically a chocolate muffin a bit liquid inside served with buttered cream . So Gnummy. For setting, romance and food , you abs need to go ,
you won’t regret it !! Plus you might want to stay at the hotel next time although very expensive. We are thinking to return before we leave !!
We absolutely loved our dinner experience at Pandano. Our waiter Alexis was attentive, friendly, and made our night! We ordered the fresh made pasta and the tuna steak. Both were phenomenal and left us so full! The ambience was the best part by far, which is saying a lot since the food was so good. We will absolutely come back when we visit Tulum again.
Horrible,
Service, food and if you don’t like the drink they will water it down and bring you back the same drink half full with water mix. No ice the second time. The drink was half the first drink like someone else drunk it. The roof top is non existing don’t waste your time

This place was amazing def will come back to Tulum just to eat here. The sunset was so nice we ended staying for 2 hours just talking and gazing at the ocean. We sat in the dock the waves and the food were amazing! Def recommend service was fast but most of all delish!

Sat on the upper deck this time - I loved that no one else was sitting up there but the breeze was pretty heavy at the time. I ordered the gnocchi with marinara and basil and the gnocchi was cooked perfectly. I just love this place - such a great experience. Not sure if I would prefer the lower or upper deck now that I’ve tried both, but definitely the closest seats to the beach are best.

Todo muy bien, el servicio un poco lento, éramos la única mesa, quizás fue por eso, pero no es mal comentario, esperaba más del servício, pero en general muy bien.... regresaré seguro!!!
This was a pleasant surprise - I looked at the map and chose a place near the beach to make a reservation and it happened to be Pandano. To get to the restaurant they walk you through the hotel lobby which is chic and zen, as soon as you walk in you never want to leave. We came later in the night and not many guests were dining. We got a seat right at the beach with the perfect breeze to make me feel like Beyoncé all night, it was a romantic, exclusive vibe.
The service was phenomenal, I wish I remembered our servers name because he was the best, great personality, funny and attentive.
Starters -
Quesadilla - with poblanos and this absolutely amazing habanero cream sauce that has a wonderful kick, I wanted to bottle it up and take it home.
Ceviche - fish and shrimp and all the other fresh goodness of ceviche
Spicy margarita - yes please, I’ve been drinking too many of these and this one was my second favorite after Spyder on the way into Tulum but it had a nice heat that hits the back of your throat
Mains -
Lobster Ravioli - typically in America when you get lobster ravioli it can be a bit bland with the creamy sauce (keep in mind, I probably OD on flavor and spice) but this sauce was so flavorful and seemed to have a hint of cumin that was just noticeable and such a nice touch. There was half a lobster on top that was cooked to perfection, the only thing was the ravioli seemed that it might have sat out as the edges were a bit hard but that was so minor to all the other greatness
Grilled Shrimp - My partner got this and he must have been happy with it as he didn’t offer to give me a bite - the shrimp can be peeled or not and it comes with a few different vegetables like asparagus and carrots, I tried the carrots and they were prepared very nicely - it was a well balanced dish
Wine - We got the Cab from Chile, it was fine.
Dessert - Moon over Sahara. Lava cake. Yes.
To finish, the owner came by and offered us a margarita on the house. Simply the best.
The only complaint one could have is that it is expensive for Mexico. The atmosphere and view are worth the extra price.
It was amazing
The food, service and vibe were súper bien. We had a table inside the restaurant with a view of the moon over the ocean! It was gorgeous. We went for my dad’s birthday and he felt so special. I mentioned it to the waiter, and he came out singing happy birthday with a lit candle on top of a chocolate lava cake. The steak was cooked perfectly to order, and we also got the shrimp pasta. Both were delicious.
Beware of the pathway to the entrance of the hotel. It has sooooo many potholes that we felt like we were pinballs bouncing left and right. They need to fix that road!
But other than that, the restaurant was charming, and we got to walk the beach right outside. Definitely worth the money, and I enjoyed it! Thank you. Muchísimas gracias 😊

I have travelled all over the world, but one of my favorite dinner spots is this beautiful restaurant at Jashita Hotel, Pandano. The service is excellent, the decor and lighting set the mood for an elegant and sophisticated evening by the ocean's edge. It is beautiful and enchanting! The entire time you hear the waves lapping, unless it is one of the special nights where they have local or international performers. The food is sublime. Fresh fish, homemade pasta, fresh vegetables, fresh pesto, fresh everything - my favorites are fish, pasta, carpaccio and tartare! I could eat here every night and never tire of this food. Italian specialities highlighted by local cuisine delicacies. The staff is beyond charming and interested in getting to know you and always there to facilitate your requests. Guillermo, in particular, is always at your service. It is a testament to this restaurant that I rarely head to Tulum, I just can't get enough of this divine restaurant. I haven't mentioned the lunch service yet, but it is just as good. Sitting seaside you can experience unbelievable service with mexican or italian fare. You shouldn't miss their burger or club sandwich, they are better than my previous favorite, le meurice in paris.... my favorite thing to do is order club sandwiches while travelling! Sip a spicy margarita and let them guide you to their favorites, you will not be disappointed. Pandano is a hidden gem of a restaurant in a hidden gem, jashita hotel, on a hidden isle, soliman bay.
Had a fantastic candle light dinner with my wife. For sure one of the most beautiful places i’ve been ! Also the hotel is breathtaking.
It was fresh pasta night so i had outstanding lobster ravioli and my wife had a lobster on the grill cooked a few steps from our table. We also shared a shrimp tostada which was amazing.
We ended to share a homemade tiramisu which was fenomenal. Great staff always smiling and attentive.

If you enjoy great good, friendly service, nature and like to listen to the sounds of waves crashing on the beach then Pandano is the restaurant for you. We reserved a table outside and their friendly staff seated us outside on the beach deck, we were so close to the water and the view was so spectacular we felt relaxed immediately. The menu is quite international, there were so many great variety of foods that made it hard to decide so we ordered a few things to share. We highly recommend Camaron a la Diabla, whole grilled fish (which the owner caught himself just a few kilometers out to sea), and the fresh handmade ravioli with local lobster was to die for.
