I love visiting Oyamel. I get a consistent level of service and good food each time I dine there. This is a must-visit restaurant in DC!

This restaurant had great COVID protocols in place. I at inside and felt completely safe and comfortable doing so.

Drinks were great and food was delish. Food portions were smaller than I remember.

Outstanding service and our meal was excellent...first time for dinner here and was not disappointed. The restaurant's COVID precautions were well done. Very comfortable dining inside. The Oyamel margarita was amazing with a foam salt mixture on top. We'll certainly be back!

Love oatmeal and we are pretty regular there. Due to the pandemic, we haven’t come for several months. Food was good as always, but to our surprise, portions definitely got smaller (queso fundido), and service was a bit on a slower side

Amazing food, great staff!

My experience here the evening of Sat February 27th was poor. My date and I had never been here before. It took us 20 minutes to be seated. Then we had to waive down a server to order after another 20 minutes. We then ordered drinks that took 20 minutes to arrive for it to be taken off the table 20 minutes later at 10:00 due to the new order by the governor. I understand the order by the governor now, because I looked it over myself, but the manager on duty did not explain the order he simply took our drink and pitcher off the table and threatened to throw it out if we reached for it. We were not treated respectfully and when we spoke with him at the end of the night about our experience he said that things have been difficult because of COVID. He took no responsibility for his actions. I will not be eating here again. As a healthcare worker I take customer service seriously as well as the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic is no excuse for customers to receive poor treatment.

Outstanding/Excellent! The Margaritas which included Jose Andreas' favorite, The Oyamel and the other margaritas were superb. Service was excellent. We made reservations for the streetside tent which was ok, but if anyone reads this review, I highly recommend making your reservation for the inside as the restaurant interior and ambiance is very nice. Only one suggestion for management......the guacamole was very good but also very light.......not a great value and again, very light as in very small amout for $15.00. All in all, nice night and highly recommend Oyamel!

Had the happy hour menu and drinks. Really enjoyable.

I wish it was a place I could afford to go to every day. However, it’s great to go and treat yourself to fresh food and amazing cocktails.

We had such a wonderful dinner at Oyamel. The variety of options was perfect for even our pickiest eater. Given the COVID dining restrictions, the restaurant was only at 25% capacity, so we felt very safe eating there. The service was outstanding and the food was very good. The margaritas were also delicious. I will definitely be going back soon.

Amazing food with such freshness and quality to the ingredients used behind every dish. Our waiter was amazing and the service was truly 5 stars for my Valentine’s date and I. Cocktails were pretty good as well. I’d definitely recommend the Serrano spicy margarita, WOW was it good lol if you’re looking for a great restaurant with true fresh taste come here! Cocktails will be a bit on the $$$ side tho lol

recommend the oyamel margarita and brunch but was disappointed as a place to celebrate valentine's day/our anniversary. when oyamel confirmed my reservation, they never mentioned the special menu wasn't being offered until an hour later.

Always amazing service and amazing food

Service was underwhelming.

Having been a bit skeptical on eating out at all during COVID, Oyamel's outdoor tent set up made me feel like I could truly relax, enjoy restaurant week, and be present with family who I dined out with. The service was attentive, clean, careful, and kind.

We enjoyed eating on the outdoor patio. They had heat lamps for each table. I ordered a dessert with a different ice cream and when it came out wrong, it was immediately corrected. All of the dishes came out hot and tasty. My favorite Jose Andres in DC!

The service was, great. We were only able to book a reservation outside on the patio, but because it was a cold night, we asked upon arrival whether we could be seated inside and they gladly accommodated us. The food was great quality and good value.

Went for Restaurant Week. Great COVID protocols and great outdoor street dining. highly recommend and can't wait to go back.

Their Covid prevention is so well thought out. Staff friendly fun and professional. Love thar they have mask made by their own staff for sale. This place fill my belly and warmed my heart

Great margaritas!

We ordered guacamole, a pitcher of margaritas, queso fundido, quesadilas, and frijoles. All were tasty but very small portions. Everything is a la carte. The food is good, just high priced as is all of DC. It has a fun vibe, and great cocktails. I am a margarita snob. I don't like syrupy drinks. These were a nice balance. We also had our kids with us - they enjoyed their food as well. We will return.

Great service and service. Loved the decor inside and the pomegranate margarita was amazing.

Nice!! Although I’d much rather sit inside, still sitting outside was good enough and the heaters helped a lot

The staff was very attentive and eager to discuss the tequila and various drinks offered. We will be dining there again soon!
