Osteria Costa - The Mirage
Food was good, and for that I would go again, but part of making the experience memorable is service. Happy to tip and recognize good service but our waitress seemed dazed, never asked if we wanted another drink, did not refill water glass. That's a deal breaker.
Food was just okay. Bucca di Beppo is tastier. Service was disorganized. Smoky location just off the casino floor. Overpriced for what you get. I will not be back
Love the arugula salad! Meatballs are good too.
Excellent Italian food in a casual atmosphere
Excellent food and atmosphere. Service was a little slow.
Husband’s lasagna was cold but didn’t send it back because he didn’t want to wait while I ate my rigatoni. Rigatoni was good but nothing to rave about. Travel in the US is disappointing because it’s hard to get European wines.
Great food, generous servings. Will go back.
restaurant very good. perfect place for dinner for pre show dinner. very good food, nice variety
Better lighting (less intense) would have made the ambience much better.
Had to try this place because when I was browsing for italian restaurants this place caught my eye. Picture of linguine and clams looked so delicious. I was totally satisfied with the dish. Started with carpaccio, and that was wonderful also. Sommelier was very helpful with the wine. Overall A+. Would go back anytime. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Had dinner at Osteria Costa before seeing the Beatles Love show. While very pricey, the menu featured numerous creative pasta dishes. The two pasta dishes we ordered both came as advertised, al dente and freshly made. The salads are big enough to share. Our server was very attentive, but seemed somewhat overworked with too many tables. On an overall basis, the food and service were both very good despite the high prices!
We went here because we were seeing Love in the same hotel afterwards. I didn’t realize it was completely open to the casino with all the noise and cigarette smoke. The food was good, service was very slow and the waitress was inattentive. We sat without drinks for a long time. I think that enclosing the restaurant would improve it significantly!
Food just OK. Otherwise a good evening.;ljk; ;j;lkj;ljk 'klj;l
Service was great, food was good and liked the Ambiance. A little pricey but the overall experience was good.
3rd time eating there. Food is pedestrian, but service is good. California Pizza Kitchen at the Mirage has better food. Only thing good I've found on the menu is the cheese stuffed flat bread appetizer.
Listed as a good Italian in Trip Advisor I was very suprised of the quality of the food , not really good
The waitress kept telling us what to eat but you had the feeling she had never been to Italy and so it
made it very annoying .
Pasta was too heavy with cream or oil and was fresh which is harder to digest. Maybe you should think
of using 'Barilla' pasta for the future
The service from the hostess to the waitress and clean up staff was great. All three of us were happy with our pasta entrees. They nicely gave us a tasty piece of cheesecake to celebrate the birthdays we had. Would definitely recommend.
We came to the Mirage to see their Cirque de Soleil show that ended at 8:30 so we made reservations for 8:45 at this place. Frankly the service was underwhelming. As soon as we arrived the greeter walked away from her station without even making eye contact with us and didn't return for about 5 minutes, leaving the front station empty. When she returned she did not seem to acknowledge that this was unusual, and seemed to be more interested in looking behind us or around us--virtually no eye contact. Maybe she was having a bad moment, but this was in stark contrast to the wonderful service we received the rest of the weekend at every other eating establishment we visited in Vegas. The food was OK but the menu is not all that impressive, not very creative. If you are looking for something special go elsewhere, would be my recommendation.
Amazing food! Portions are definitely large enough to share.
Service was quite slow for a Saturday evening. 2/3 dishes we ordered were great! The bucatini was bland, and lacked flavor, even after adding more salt! The time is took to get our main dishes was too long. When we wanted to order dessert, the server gave us our check instead.
I'm not a fan of Las Vegas, but I was consistently impressed by the quality of service throughout the city. Service here was also exceptional. The restaurant is in the casino, but the nasty cigarette smell of Vegas dissipated as you got into the main part of the restaurant. Everyone enjoyed their meal and was happy with what they ordered. We found the food very straightforward, fresh, and flavorful. The food was nicely presented in simple and lovely "Heath Ceramic style" dinnerware.
Service was excellent. Food was delicious. Small portions and no bread.
Appetizer had broccolini (sp) which overpowered the rest of the ingredients. The dinners were fish and pasta. Pasta was very fresh but the fish was a bit too strong. Also sit in the front if you do no want a strong small of fish floating above your table while there. You cannot beat the service, though.
Had a really nice time as we were there celebrating our 30th Anniversary from the time we were seated till the very end of our dining experience. The food was outstanding. Compliments to the Chef!
Carpaccio appetizer was truly amazing. Caesar salad very good. The waiter pushed the Lobster Entree and it was very disappointing.
Cocktails were a little lacking in excitement - mine was too sweet.
We ordered a Rose from Provence which was quite something, excellent wine.
The ambience was too cafeteria style.
Our server was fantastic (except for pushing the lobster).
The food was average at best and very much over priced. I put it on par with Carraba's but 3 times the cost.
One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. Beat meal in Vegas! This is a hidden gem. Flat bread was sensational. Pastas were all perfect. I can’t rave about this place enough!
We sat in the bar area which was really nice and comfortable, but, the server seemed like she was a hostess more than a server. The food was a la carte and the prices were steep for what you got. Their policy is bread is served upon request and apparently oil and/or butter is as well since we got none with the bread. The oil we asked for was no seasoned at all! The mozzarella atop the veal and chicken was thick and tasteless. This restaurant is not what it advertises to be. I would not recommend.
The food was excellent and the service was really very good. We definitely enjoyed our experience there. The Piccante pizza was ridiculous. I'd go back there just for that.
The fresh-made pasta was delicious, as was the eggplant in mine (and the sauce, of course). The app we shared (prosciutto with melon) was also very good. My wife and the other couple we were with all had great things to say about their meals. Overall, probably the best meal I had on this trip to Vegas (and there were a lot of good meals)!
Very good food. Pizza is a bit expensive, 4 slices for 21.00
Our family of 7 dined here prior to the Beatles Love Show in the same hotel. We told them we needed to be out in time for the show and the waiter was extremely accommodating. We shared two pizzas for an appetizer and they were delicious. All of us had a pasta selection for our main course and they were all excellent. A very pleasant surprise in a Vegas hotel.
Actual layout of the restaurant, just ok. We were seated next to a huge pole and right next to the bar with TVs on. Not really a desirable ambiance for a high end Italian restaurant. But the food, drinks and service were excellent.
Service was fair food was adequate. The manager ignores most of his guests and pandered to those who were "importamt" past our table 6 tables asking those around us (2 tables) if everthimg was ok 6 times.
One of the best Italian restaurants we've been to in Las Vegas.
The menu was excellent. Drinks prepared by Anthony were just amazing. XO our server did a fantastic job. I would definitely come back. Great Friday evening
I do NOT recommend the shrimp spaghetti! It tasted like old fish. The staff was kind enough to bring me something else and it was ok. Others in our dining party ordered an entree and it only came with the meat. There were no sides. For the price, this just wasn’t a good value.
Service was great! Disappointed with entrees. Meatball app. was very good, great sauce. Carpaccio was good but overpowered by Arugala and Percorino. Veal Millanese was a large portion, breaded and dry. Spaghetti with Shrimp was most disappointing as it was BLAND, tasted like Spaghetti with pasta water more than flavor. Maybe Pizza is the best to get here.
Service was excellent and the food was outstanding! The mushroom pizza awesome! And the rigatoni was to die for! All pasta is homemade. And for my moms bD they brougjt out a slice of olive oil cake with fresh whip cream. Honestly cant say enough about how good this was from beginning to end!
Excellent in every way. Have eaten here before & I’m never disappointed.
