   Menú de almuerzo lo que pedía de aperitivo no lo tenían, pregunté si tenía calamares era sólo en la cena, menú de niños pésimo! Literalmente no tenía opciones para los niños como pollo, hamburguesas, grill cheese. Entiendo que el restaurante no tiene ese tipo de comida pero ir con niños con hambre no es buena idea. Tardaron extremadamente para entregar 2 copas de vino , al terminar la comida no recogieron los platos vacíos y lo mejor de todo hice la reservación para el cumpleaños de mi mejor amiga, pensé que iban a preguntar por postre, no fue así tuve que ir donde la mesera y me comentó que este tipo de restaurantes tenia que pagar el postre cuando en ningún momento jamás estábamos esperando algo de gratis. Fue muy incómodo y triste a la vez pq los niños querían cantarle a su mamá.

   I totally get that with some places, it’s either great food or a great view — rarely both. But hear me out: if you’re paying for the view, at least the food presentation should be there. We came by in the middle of the day (maybe the kitchen was in between shifts?), but unfortunately, neither the taste nor the presentation met expectations. They were out of the duck egg rolls we wanted, so we ordered Pad Thai and a couple of maki rolls instead. Honestly, it felt like the rolls were pre-made or the rice had been sitting in the fridge forever — it was dry and just off. The rolls weren’t cut properly, and each piece had either way too much filling or almost none at all. That’s not what you expect from a high-end restaurant. The Triple Spicy Tuna Roll came with black pepper tuna inside and out — even though spicy tuna was listed as the ingredient. And again, the presentation made you question if the food was even safe to eat. To top it all off, we had long waits just to get our server’s attention, and then got charged $15 for a glass of Martin Codax Albariño wine — even though both the online and printed menus clearly listed it at $12. Why? Overall, we were just disappointed. When a place charges premium prices and offers a premium view, you expect at least a well-prepared, decent-looking meal.

   We love going to Orion's Roof. A table by the window with a view of the ocean is such a treat. Service was good. Sushi is always a good bet.

   We had the best meal at Orion’s Roof Garden. Everything about the esthetics of the space was spot on for our family night out! My husband and I along with our 2 children (10, and 9) loved everything we ate. We tried so many things, from The Salted Red Snapper, Surf and Turf Roll, Pad Thai noodles, even the Spicy Garlic Edamame (just to name a few) were INCREDIBLE! We ended with the Krispy Kreme bread pudding ( I can’t even talk about it without craving it)…our server was Jen she was so helpful and amazing with suggestions and so knowledgeable about all the dishes. We even had an in person thank you with Chef Grant to truly thank him for the delicious meal. This was our first time in Virginia Beach and it certainly will not be our last knowing we will be visiting Orion’s Roof Top for dinner!

   Excellent service and AMAZING food! Spicy edamame is TASTY! Sushi and fresh, no fishiness at all. Came out lightning fast. 10/10 restaurant, beautiful views
