Fabulous experience! It was my second time at Pujol... First time I had the regular tasting menu. This tacos omakase was wonderful, highly recommended!
A wonderful dining experience. Definitely lives up to the hype. If you’re heading to Mexico City start trying for your reservation now.
Incredible omekase taco menu experience! Everything was delicious and service was excellent.
Fantastic! All dishes burst off the plate with amazing flavors. Service, ambiance, food were all perfectly executed!
Incredible food, well paced, good drink pairings. Highly recommend it for the delicious, unique, high quality food and the amazing ambiance.
Hands down one of the best dining experiences of my life.
You deserve to do this at least once in your life. An absolute treat for the eyes and the taste buds. Everything about this place is fabulous - staff, decor, food and drinks. if we could go back soon we most definitely would.
Best food ever! Ambiance, service, size, sequence and pairing of foods was unparallel. Simply superb.
It was wonderful
Absolutely amazing meal, service and pairings. Couldn’t fault anything, just an amazing experience
Pujol is just pure extravaganza. It will hit you with flavor after flavor until there’s no other way than to just surrender. By the end, Pujol will conquer your heart and soul.
Excellent service, food, and ambiance. Everyone in our party loved the experience.
Second time at Pujol and it was amazing. I enjoyed the taco omakase even more than the regular experience. You get to talk to the team and learn more about food. Amazing!
Best meal of my life.
Excellent food, excellent service.
Every dish was special. The staff are attentive and nice. Loved every bite.
Everything about this place is thoughtful. The food was delicious. The staff explained it all very well. There are one or two weird ingredients that they gloss over for squeamish people who don’t eat out often and that’s perfectly fine. Each bite was better then the last. Carmen and Gabriela were the two women who took care of us this evening. They are such warm, welcoming, knowledgeable people. Gabriela is a first class mezcal sommelier. She will make sure you up your mezcal game. I would go again if there were an opening while I’m here sadly there is not.
Excellent meal. Service was perfect. Especially Gabby, and one other wonderful lady whose name I didn’t get. Ultra professional service like this is what makes the experience so special. The tacos were excellent - traditional Mexican ingredients presented in new inventive ways.
Taco Omakase itself is worth the experience, true to traditional Mexican form with a Japanese influence, obvs. Everything was cooked beautifully—creative execution but nothing mind boggling. The drink pairing that nearly doubled the price amounted to 4 drinks and was, unfortunately, obligatory.
Must go. So, so delicious
Increíble experiencia y servicio. 👏🏻👏🏻
My wife and I just want to thank the entire team at Pujol for an amazing and memorable experience. From start to finish every detail was accounted for and made our time at your restaurant one we will never forget.
This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. We sat at the taco bar and spent three hours eating. We had 14 plates in all, and tried 5 different mezcals. My wife had the vegetarian version of the menu, which was also all delicious. For desert, they’ll ask you to go to a section outside. I thought this was a little jarring at first, but realized it was to let us take our time with coffee and dessert. The mole, which was six years in the making, was a highlight. Worth every penny.
The meal was incredible. I don’t know what my favorite dish was. Impeccable service, friendly staff, delicious food, beautiful setting...I am only bummed I forgot our napkins!
Between Antonello, Ellie, Carmen, Eduardo, Ricardo, I was served and waited on by some of the kindest and warmest and best of their craft. To say this meal was incredible is an understatement. For context, I booked a bar seat for the omakase, expecting to spend the entire meal musing in my head about the flavors and profiles I was tasting. What awaited me was warm company, expert dives into every meal, and me not feeling like I was expected to feel alone while dining alone. I will have to make more return trips to CDMX specifically to come taste and experience more of Pujol. Congratulations on a superb team and an execution of a marvelous experience. Muchissimo gusto to all I met. Thank you for making this trip unforgettable.
Lived up to every expectation. This is next level dining that is rarely available anywhere in the world. Food was impeccable, can not be faulted, plate after plate did not disappoint. Service was without fault, attention to detail on point. I was concerned I would leave too full but happily just satiated. A treat all should experience.
My friend and went to Pujol for lunch and decided on the taco tasting menu with wine pairing. Every element of the dining experience was so well considered, from the food (which was outstanding), through to the service and ambience (architecture/lighting/sound/smell). We started our meal at the bar and finished with dessert in the outdoor courtyard, which was a lovely way to end the meal. It was a truly memorable experience and I would highly recommend.
No queria beber y ademas no era buena.
Very seafood heavy. I’d ask for the vegetarian options if you don’t like fish or seafood for every meal - they are very accommodating to these substitute requests.
Felt like they were trying to kick us out in the end
Muy buena experiencia, vale la pena. La comida deliciosa y el servicio espectacular
Amazing meal! Pujol lived up to the hype!
The food was excellent as usual, but I preferred the old drink pairing with different types of beverages.
Great dining experience. I’d recommend the taco menu over the full restaurant menu
Absolutely worth trying once, but honestly seemed a bit overrated, especially at this price point. The service was solid, but not impeccable (there was a mysterious and abrupt transition of designated dish explainers a few courses in, and the understudy who stepped in was not the equal of his predecessor; also, I overheard at least one explanation that was offered to the adjacent section, but not mine). I grant that my experience was colored by sitting next to the Instagram generation. This was for the taco omakase tasting at the bar. As for the food, the ingredients were pristine, but a certain sameness pervaded after a few courses, and the menu items weren't the most satisfying iterations of their kind (I am, admittedly, partial to tortillas de harina). At the end, I mainly felt like I paid too much money for the privilege of feeling over-full and eavesdropping on vapid, pretentious millennials. Additionally, the cab driver they kindly hailed for me was a navigationally challenged grifter--the only time this happened to me in Mexico City. I think I was late to the party on this one, and that the hype was probably more warranted in the restaurant's more nascent stages.
