Oh lala

This was a return trip for us and we again were very pleased. The service is impeccable and the food was absolutely delicious. My mojito Berry was one of the best drinks I'd ever had. Portions were very generous. My husband and I each had a different tuna dish and the ahi was superb. We have to travel about 20 minutes to the restaurant but it is well worth it.

This restaurant continues to be one of our favorites in Playa. Slow the night we were there, but due to Covid, so many places are running slow. It didn’t matter...it just slowed more time to chat with us and enjoy my husband’s birthday celebration as we celebrate his birthday every year here.

Always excellent service, ambiance and food. They never disappoint. A memorable experience as usual...until next year!

We have been coming here for years and always get excellent food and service when we visit Oh lala! It is always at the top of my list when we are in Playa del Carmen!

Excellent all in all the experience! Food was excellent and our serveur Claudia was amazing & knowledgeable. Claudia was the best part of our visit! Super friendly. Kudos to the chefs! Always a great service

Went here because this was recommended as one of the best restaurants in PDC. The service is excellent and the food was very good. I had the tenderloin and my daughter had the filet. I would recommend the filet over the tenderloin, for both tenderness and flavor. The drinks and red wine blend (recommended) were very good as well. The total bill for shrimp appetizer, tenderloin, filet, two glasses of wine and two cocktails was only $139.00 USD before tip. I found this very reasonable.

One of the best places to eat in Playa

The phrase "oh la la" does not even begin to describe the reaction our taste buds had to this amazing meal prepared by the chef! This small restaurant tucked into the street immediately meets you with vibes of sophistication and class, and the food definitely lives up to it! My husband and I were "wow" ed with each subsequent course, and were able to have a great conversation with the wait staff. We were so glad we spent an evening here to bask in the deliciousness that is Oh La La!

We sat outside and everything was delicious and service was efficient and unobtrusive.

The food, service and ambiance were amazing. My mom & I went there to celebrate her birthday. We enjoyed every bite of the food...it really was some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. This is a true gem!!!

The food is amazing and service was outstanding although prices are not reasonable for Mexico mostly perhaps its located in a tourist city but would definitely recommend this place to others

The overall experience was fantastic! We went for my girlfriends birthday and they made the night special from the moment we walked in! We got the shrimp and scallops which were fantastic. We also got the octopus and the beef panang curry which is highly recommend! Definitely worth the extra money for the amazing food and dining experience!

This trip is our 4th to the Playa area. Love it here. Viva Mexico! This was our 3rd dining experience at Oh La LA. No trip to Playa is complete without dining here. This year was our 40th wedding anniversary. This is THE special occasion place for us. The food is delicious! (I have dreams of Oh Lala salad with Butter soy tuna main course. Service is great. Just the place for an intimate evening with my lovely wife. And we have experienced this place with friends as well. All were glad we introduced them Oh Lala! DO make reservations to avoid disappointment.

The finest food and ambiance in Playa

Just had an amazing meal tonight at Oh lala. The food was delicious and I plan on returning to eat there again before I return home. Everything was super fresh, the vegetables were cooked perfectly. The salad was super fresh and was full of flavor. The complementary flatbread with goat cheese to start was also so delicious. Overall the best meal I have had while visiting Mexico for the past 2 weeks and also the service was impeccable(thank you Claudia!)

Our food was excellent; however, it took SO long to get our meals that we were really "over it", by the time the food came (over 2 hours). Not a good wine selection either.

The staff was very apologetic, but it was a wasted dinner out to us on our vacation.

We were very disappointed with the experience.

We LOVED Oh Lala! Their reservation process was easy, and they even had "special requests" listed as an option for the reservation so I could tell them about my girlfriend's birthday. When we arrived to the restaurant at 7:30 PM, we were the only ones there. We're glad we made a reservation, though, because the restaurant filled up towards the end of our meal. It was DELICIOUS! They were incredibly COVID-safe too, and we felt a lot better eating there than we do anywhere in Oklahoma or Texas during the pandemic. The chef even made something special for my girlfriend's birthday. The staff was courteous, and they helped us with any question or concern we had. I highly suggest eating here!
