Love love love this place. The patio is perfect for Covid. HH m-th from 5-7 is an incredible deal.

The outdoor space is well heated and well ventilated for outdoor seating.

It was great ! Food was great! We tried the new scaly wag ! Super good and had lots of different sushi options along with the curry noodles and hanger steak . Delicious PERFECT !!!

My husband and I spent our 5th anniversary here and it was the most spectacular dining experience we’ve had in a while. The staff was attentive and so incredibly kind. They anticipated our every need. The food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. We ordered at least 10 different things from the menu (not to mention, reordered a specific dish TWO ADDITIONAL TIMES - that’s how good it was) and with the happy hour prices, our bill was shockingly low.

For dessert, the servers brought out a slice of cheesecake with a candle and two glasses of champagne, in addition to the Michu ice cream we’d ordered, for free as an anniversary gift. To top it off, everyone of the staff signed a card to us.

I was to taken aback by the experience at O-Ku, I’ve told everyone I know they HAVE TO dine here. My husband and I will definitely be going back soon.

Best sushi, in a beautiful and tranquil atmosphere, and the hospitality was like no other.

Me and my girlfriend went for Valentine’s Day and it was a fantastic evening. They really made it special.

Our waitress was absolutely amazing in every way. The food was top notch. The patio heaters were blasting, keeping us nice and toasty during 30 degree weather.

We had late night reservations (9:45pm) but decided to arrive about early (8:30pm) since we were starving
The staff was very accommodating. We manage to get a quick drink at the bar while we waited to sit down.

Once at our table, Jen (our waitress) was super nice and knowledgeable on the menu. She helped us select some of the item based on our preferences
For appetizers we ordered
Salmon Uzuzukuri which was delicious w a kick of wasabi
We also had the
Chicken fried rice the portion was big enough for 2

For our sushi rolls we had,

Fire cracker roll this one was our favorite, we ordered it twice the little red eggs we spicy
Yuzo Fuego not as spicy of it described but it was still good
Surf & Turf roll this one was good meat was good combined w the shrimp
Harvest roll for being a vegetarian roll it was good


Drinks
Shogun this was delicious, perfect blend of basil and gin
O-Ku martini (gin) this one was strong but smooth

Amazing food, amazing atmosphere. Great place if you like sushi.

Absolutely love the food at O-Ku! The sushi is fresh and delicious, really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Drinks are unique and worth a try, especially the habanero sugar one! The team is very attentive and friendly. Every time I celebrate, they’ve given me a handwritten note from the team which is a nice personal touch to the experience. One of the best sushi spots in DC!

Happy hour was amazing !

They catered to us and treated us as special guest because I made the reservation as an anniversary. They gave us a personal signed card at the end of the night. We will be going back for future special occasions

The food and the drink selection from O Ku is amazing! The venue is beautiful. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was how long it took for the food to arrive. It was a solid 40 minutes from appetizers being cleared to our entrees being served.

We will definitely be back again because the food is that incredible!

Work promotions celebration and getting back together with 2 friends at our favorite place in town. The absolutely best!

The food is delicious so eat fast because even if you decide to purchase eight courses they will still put you out in two hours
