The pancake platter was $30 dollars for ~7-8 small pancakes, some butter and sprinkles. They were really dry and absolutely not worth it. The service was mediocre at best and the staff treated us like we were 2nd class citizens (e.g. poor seating, slow service, etc.).
In general, even though it's a nice venue, I would not go back for food as it's overpriced and bad.
Menu has highlights needs better craft cocktails to be elite
My husband and I took my sister and brother-in-law to dinner. The pictures looked delicious but they did it no justice. We had a few appetizers, the charcuterie board was exquisite. The drinks and pizza were also very good but the pork chop and ribeye were outstanding. Highly recommended all of it.
Overall good food and drinks. We waited a very long time for drinks and food to arrive. They were friendly though and overall good experience.
We had an early dinner 515 so it was nice and quiet. We enjoyed the food and ambiance
It was my birthday and we showed up a little late from our previous location and the hostess was super accommodating with making a table work for us! Thank you!
Food and drinks were just average. Service and ambiance was great but I wouldn’t go back for the food.
Great service and delicious food. Shrimp Scampi pizza is amazing!
The menu is very limited and doesn't give much of a choice for entrees. Perhaps it's better as a meet up bar sort of place rather than a restaurant. Incredibly noisy and difficult to try to have a conversation with anyone at my table.
I threw a surprise dinner for my boyfriend and 13 of his friends and we had a wonderful time!! The food was amazing and we were able to be seated inside in the beautiful dining room. It was a delightful evening. We will definitely be back!! Thank you Nolita Hall!
This was a favorite of our pre-COVID, and they have taken covid precautions to the next level. Tons of plexiglass separating seating and great outdoor setup. We came on a Sunday and enjoyed watching football outside!
Great experience at Nolita hall! Service food and drinks were amazing, would definitely recommend and go back :)
Nice venue with Italian food, perfect for a date or to hang out with friends.
Best spot in Little Italy
Amazing as always
Nolita Hall has amazing food and great drinks. Definitely one of our favorite stops while in Dam Diego!
Food was overpriced be very bland. Everything looked very pretty but failed on taste. I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you’re hungry since the portions were ridiculously small. We ordered the gnocchi and counted a total of 4 pieces of gnocchi in the plate. The kale salad was also a huge disappointment. I basically ate a bowl of kale, dressing had no taste and the ratio of topping to greens was so off it didn’t help with the flavor profile at all.
The place is really cute. I felt that the cleanliness effort could have been enforced a bit more in general and considering the current times. We were greeted by the host, she took her time after seeing us and asked us if we had a reservation. Immediately after we were sat at our table which has a couple of long hairs that grossed me out. I asked one of the busboys if he could wipe the table down and showed him the hairs. Very nice, he quickly cleaned the table off.
I had a strawberry sangria that was really good and we ordered the cannoli french toast and the breakfast pizza to share. The toast was delicious, not too sweet, it was perfectly balanced. We would have appreciated two slices instead of one, but ok... the breakfast pizza took a bit to come out. We added sunny side up eggs and prosciutto OMG their prosciutto was soooo good. Again, there were a couple of slices on there, it would have been better if we had a little more. All in all, the experience was nice, the place is very cute. A couple of flies were roaming around the whole time, but if you have open spaces like that I guess it is normal. I would just tighten up the service.
Great experience, and we felt safe with their protocols! The food was delicious and service was excellent.
My party and I literally waited 2.5 hours to get our food. Apparently the server forgot to put in our table’s order. The manager ended up giving us a round of shots and comping our whole bill. But still 2.5 hours?? And tbh it sucks for them because there were 15 people at our table, they could’ve made so much off us. The food wasn’t even that great either. Like girl... get it together.
The atmosphere is very youthful, great decor but I did not care for the giant televisions everywhere. The food was just ok, everything looked fantastic but was underwhelming and underseasoned ( I almost never ask for salt and pepper when I dine out).
I'm glad we tried it.
The place is beautiful and has a really nice ambiance, the staff is very friendly and accommodating however the food was very mediocre, especially for the prices. We ordered the yellowtail ceviche which was so fishy that we couldn’t finish it, the beet veggie dish which just tasted like beets- there was nothing special about it, could have made it on my own...shrimp scampi pizza which again was just OK and the
Food was very very good. Great brunch menu. Drinks took a long time to come. Our server was very slow. Very beautiful and fantastic location. Will come back, and I reccomend despite slow service.
Menu is limited. Server was nice but service was slow. I’m sure it’s related to the pandemic which is understandable.
Really good food and drinks in a fun, energetic space. The prices are definitely reflective of the location, environment, and quality.
Favorite bar in Little Italy not even a competition
One of the best spots to watch sports in San Diego. I love everything about this place!
Tommy the bartender is a master at his craft! Food was equally great!
Great food and vibes!
Bestie and I never repeat outings we try but due to covid and our need for basketball on, we came back to Nolita. SO GLAD WE DID. Our experience was amazing. We sat at the bar because it’s my favorite but the spot is so fire. Sit anywhere. From the safety precautions to the delicious food to the super friendly staff and attentive management it was the whole experience!
They introduced me to a beverage I would have never thought to mix even though it’s two of my favorite things to sip on and I’m a changed person. I’ve worked in bars and restaurants and made weird shots and this was brilliant.
Do it. Go here.
Place is always on point
Service and ambiance were fantastic. Food was delicious!
Epic set up for Covid.
Only writing this review to share that their COVID safety measures are wonderful. We felt safe the entire time and the wait staff were all so lovely and attentive. Loved this spot before the pandemic and happy to see that they're still thriving and taking the right precautions.
My mew favorite brunch spot in SD!
The server was great! She checked on us often. The food options were very limited and it was very awkward to share a table divided by plastic it was uncomfortable to be honest. I would have liked the option to have my own table or share, it would have made the difference in my choice to dine here.
Our server was just the best - super sweet and helpful and checking up the whole time. They were super accommodating of the games we wanted to watch
We came her for my fiance's birthday dinner on the Sunday before labor day with two other friends. The restaurant was fairly covid friendly with all the the doors and windows open and plexiglass barriers. Some tables were shared by different parties and had plexiglass dividing the tables (no thank you) When I booked online via open table I specifically asked for patio seating yet was sat inside. (still not a big deal).
We ordered a round of cocktails and our food at roughly 745 pm . A manager came to our table at 845 and said "just so you know I need you out of here by 10 per San Diego laws." Although this was true, to act as if we were unwanted after we had placed a food order over an hour ago was beyond rude. I told him we would gladly like to leave once we got our food that we had patiently been waiting for. His response was "well were pretty busy tonight." As we observed him, he went around to various tables shaking people's hands and giving hugs (seriously!) not telling a single other table about the 10 pm closing time.
At 9 pm our friends had received their food while we were still waiting for our pizza and salad. Finally at 920 we got our pizza and salad delivered by a different manager who comped the item.
Our server was definitely doing her best, which we appreciated but frankly save yourself from the mediocre pizza and drinks. The atmosphere is nice, but so are all the other restaurants in Little Italy. Check out Kettner Exchange, Born & Raised, or False Idol for equally good food, service, and atmosphere.
Hi Corrie, Thank you for taking the time to express your concerns about your previous dining experience. It hurts me to hear these things took place at Nolita Hall. I have met with my management team to discuss your experience and would really like the opportunity to make it up to you if you would let me. Best, Sean
Fun place for drinks! Great decor at atmosphere and great service! Thanks!
Amazing beautiful interior great vibe and food 👍
