Dinner with friends ~ it was amazing!
I planned my birthday vacation around Nobu Los Cabos from 11/10 to 11/13/2019. We have visited the local Nobu restaurant in Malibu and have really enjoyed the meal and experience, so we had high expectations. The occasion was my 60th birthday. I made reservations in advance using OpenTable and noted that it was a special occasion to celebrate my 60th birthday. We let our butler and hotel know when we checked into the hotel that that I was celebrating my 60th birthday at Nobu on Tuesday. When we arrived at the restaurant my wife reminded them again and our server. So we were really disappointed when we asked for a dessert menu and one never arrived. After waiting over a half hour we gave up and just asked for the check. The restaurant was mostly empty so I am not sure why we were ignored or the service was so bad, but ignoring us when we asked for dessert menus was the last straw. Our waiter didn’t seem to be concerned or care when we just asked for the check. We made mention of it to the restaurant host upon leaving, our butler and to the hotel at checkout but it just got brushed off
The view is absolutely fantastic! Food was impeccable and super delicious! Attention to detail and friendly staff. A must place to dine whenever in Cabo!
Stunning restaurant and amazing menu with traditional and innovative Japanese offerings. The edamame spicey ponzu was to die for! Service was impeccable - attentive but not intrusive. Craft cocktails were interesting but pricey! Highly recommend sharing items. Of note - sitting inside is very noisy!
Aweful - lWho is very excited to see this new hotel restaurant I was totally underwhelmed.
Amazing food, service, and a beautiful location!! The rock shrimp tempura and wagyu gyoza were our favourite.
Extremely expensive as expected, but the $58 per bottle corkage fee was excessive.
I've been to Nobu Vegas and San Diego. Nobu Cabo is unique. If you've a bucket list, it's worth the visit.
But beware of the taxi fare. $45 verses $10 Uber. Beware of the $900 sake. Be prepared for a long long drive.
Service was poor. We almost felt invisible to the staff. Anniversary was not acknowledged
Food was outstanding.
Views were magnificent.
Wait Staff were attentive and knowledgeable.
Ambiance was uber cool.
It is a must on your next trip to Cabo. Has made our "to do every trip" list now!
The restaurant is beautiful and serene, the menu is Japanese Peruvian, and the service is excellent. It is a wonderful place for a leisurely celebration.
Beautiful setting and great meal as is typical with Nobu. Staff were attentive.
Absolutely incredible. From the vibe to the service and food, outstanding experience. I have been to many Nobu’s around the world and this was my favorite. Will be back, amazing way to celebrate my birthday!
Nobu is a very fine restaurant and beautiful. We live here locally in Cabo and have eaten there several times. It is really nice for a once in a lifetime experience. Very unique dishes. But it is also one of the most expensive places in Cabo, and quite a bit of a drive to get there. For a unique experience it is very nice. Six of us dined there on Friday, the bill with tip was $800 US, and we ate/ drank very moderately. Personally Cabo has a lot of other places that I prefer.
While they can’t control the rain the lot attendant was not prepared with helping guests arriving from getting drenched and we had to make a mad dash for the door. Upon arriving they had people mopping the floor and buckets to catch the water leaking from the ceiling which was surprising since this was supposed to be new construction.
Food was good but overpriced compared to other sushi places, and wait staff was rushing around like mad and not quite sure who our actual waiter was since one would disappear and then someone else came out of the woodwork to ask us if we needed anything after sitting for lengthy periods or time, but the check was delivered promptly when I asked for it.
Perhaps the evening of rain and leaking water had them flustered, and we will give them another shot on our trip to see if there is a difference.
Was a gorgeous sunset, one of a kind location to watch it, while eating fine sushi rolls and drinking unique selections of Sake. I would recommend to everyone if you eould like a fun and special occasion, this is where you eant to do it! DJ was great too all night.
Beautiful setting. Perfect service
We were in Cabo for a day as part of 20 night cruise. It was an excellent dinner with an equally beautiful view. The property was beautifully decorated in a very classy wood/stone Zen theme. The staff was very nice. It is a 30 minute drive from the cruise ship area with 8 minutes after you get through the front gate security.
We have been to many Nobu restaurants through out the world. This one was probably the loudest but we had them sit us inside and it was all good. Great service as always and delicious food as always.
It was a wonderful 20th anniversary with my beautiful wife.
Thank you Nobu and hopefully Marbella is next.
Muy buena experiencia, el menú del chef Sean súper recomendado! La atención y el servicio de todos excelente!
Amazing views, ambience and best of all of course the sushi!
Excelente servicio, calidad en los alimentos y sobretodo delicioso! Mi esposo y yo quedamos sumamente satisfechos y esperamos volver pronto.
Adjunto fotos de algunos de los platillos que pedimos :)
I’ve had my fair share of fine dining and Japanese cuisine, but this place was over the top amazing. This review could be a marathon of all the things that are done right here. From the valet to hostess, bar staff, wait staff, to the maitre d, this place is top notch. The ambience was perfect, the sun setting on the ocean. Then comes the food. We took many of the recommendations from the maitre d as we like to do when we dine at a place for the first time. The different dishes tasted like they were out back pulling it off the boat as we ordered. Fresh, and it just kind of dissolved right in your mouth. This was the best overall dining experience I’ve had in my 45 years. Thank you Nobu!
See you next time!
Some food was good, other was not good at all. Both the bottle of wine and martinis ordered were awful. Desert was not goods Service ok. Ambience is beautiful.
Great place for a meal and what a view. Nobu ain't cheap....so if your prepared for a fabulous meal at a heavy price. It might go down as one of your best (ever).
Muy lejos de los Nobu en otras ciudades, probablemente por que todavía es muy nuevo. Pero no hay una buena ejecución en las recetas de los platillos.
El lugar se ve desangelado, le falta vibra y armonía en la decoración.
What an amazing dinner!! Could not be more happy with our experience. From the unbelievable food to the ambiance, it was simply perfect.
Best Nobu experience I’ve ever had and we’ve been to many different locations!
Fabulous! Great service, great food, great ambiance. Loved every aspect of my tasting menu meal. I tried things I never would order on my own and all was great. I don’t mind paying higher prices for good service and great food. I will be back!
Gran experiencia gastronómica, excelente servicio y excelente lugar para ver los atardeceres.
This place is unreal! The ambiance, the staff. I cannot stop thinking about this place! I’ll be back every time I’m in Mexico!! It’s a must!
Amazing place for dinner while in Cabo San Lucas! Service and did were excellent!!
12 Year Anniversary
Difficult to get to. $75 usd round trip. The resort does not allow UBer drivers in, so you must take one of the taxi vans. Food was below average. Not typical Nobu standards. The techno music was so loud, even at 7pm, That it was difficult to hear each other.
As always you can expect high quality food and great service at Nobu. This was no different. The location and views were sensational.
Nobu is a beautiful place no doubt. Unless you are staying at the Nobu resort, Hard Rock or Diamanté, it is a pretty long haul to get there. It is also super pricey. Expect to pay at minimum $100 per person, and that is if you only drink their (expensive) bottled water, and you would probably leave a bit hungry still. For a fully satisfying evening, you’ll easily hit the $200-300 price range. The food and atmosphere is great but for the value, there are plenty of other options in Cabo.
Nobu doesn’t disappoint! From the food to the staff to the ambiance, you won’t regret going.
