Nido Cevicheria and Bar
The look of the Nest from the reception and how it’s lit at night, the decor of the restaurant is very cool.
The food was only ok and very pricey for what you got. There was four options of white wine by the glass. My wine was $24 a glass and my husbands was $18 a glass. It was a nice wine glass but it was a half pour, unacceptable at that price. My daughter (who is 6) ordered Miso soup (which she loves, she eats everything). It was very spicy, a lot of jalapeños in it. She couldn’t eat it. I mentioned this and it was ignored. We paid $18 for uneaten soup. We took the kids out for dessert elsewhere after dinner. It’s expensive for not very much. And they add a 15% service charge to the bill automatically.
The setting is amazing but the background music was sporadic and the service was as well. Everyone was well-meaning but for the prices they charge, we were disappointed in our experience. We spent well over $200 for the two of us (apps and drinks) and I believe that it may not be sustainable for most people.
$20 per glass for Josh Chardonnay is really high! I don’t think we’ll return with so many great options in Cabo unless the prices become more aligned with the experience. If we do, it will be for a cocktail in the beautiful setting.
Enjoyed an anniversary meal with parents and family. Staff was attentive. Outdoor atmosphere was unique and something we won’t soon forget. Thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Do yourself the favor. One of a kind place to go in the world.
A very unique setting of bamboo sticks wrap around the restaurant & bar over looking the pool & Sea of Cortez. Excellent food & service.
Excelente lugar, excelente comida, bebidas, y servicio; Sergio en particular. Pescado fresco.
