Great service. Staff where great at explaining the menu and in their recommendations. Food was great- could have had larger pasta serving but was delicious.
Very good food, but unfortunately very slow service. Took about 30 minutes to order drinks and then when we did order food they forgot 2 of our dishes.
Fantastic all round, cannot fault any dish we had. A very tasty experience!
Our dining experience last night was amazing! The service was incredible, the food was absolutely delicious and the wine recommendation was also delicious. We all loved it and will be back! Thank you Nido.
Excellent service, could cater to everyone's dietary requirements. Great quality food and look forward to dining again
Food and service was amazing, I did find the lighting a little dark when sitting on stools wall side.
Was a great experience. Food was top notch. Highly recommend this place!
Delicious! Would definitely recommend for a great night out.
Struggled to hear conversation- perhaps slightly less people and not so jammed in better for noise and covid distancing.
Amazing food, everything from the starters, the pastas to the desserts were delicious! Nido is definitely set apart from other pasta restaurants due to the creativity of the menu which is so well executed! If you want to try something a bit different, this is a great place to go! The service was friendly but could have been faster. The space is nice but fairly small, and a bit cold in winter for the people seated towards the front of the restaurant, as it is open. The music was a bit random but not very noticeable, however, it could have suited the vibe of the design and experience a bit more. The pricing is a bit more on the expensive side but still very reasonable for the quality of the food. Overall, I would definitely recommend it, especially for a special occasion - the exceptional food won't disappoint!
Amazing food with great advice on both food and wine. Attentive service without being too intrusive. Wonderful experience
Nido is always consistent with food quality and service, my favourite ‘go to’ place!
Staff friendly, attentive and helpful explaining the menu options. Could not fault the food - it was amazing! Reasonably priced. Would recommend.
The whipped ricotta and honey with the bread was a star.
If you like spice the lamb ragu was great.
Enjoyed our time as we call this a treat cost us $160 for two of us.
Tess was amazing! We can’t wait to come back !
Had to wait over 30 mins for our table, however we were more than compensated for the wait. Staff were very friendly and the food was so so good.
Great atmosphere and excellent customer service! Good was delicious too!
Small meals for the price point. Wines were expensive and limited in range
Had a lovely evening with friends and the food was great
Nice food, staff are professional and understandable, my wife doesn’t eat lamb and he recommended pasta without lamb
I think it was overpriced for what we received. However, we went for the tasting menu; perhaps that wasn't wise.
Very disappointed. Well not too disappointed as I read the bad reviews before I left and knew not to have my hopes up. I only wanted to come because it was Laura from Masterchef. My partner being from Italy, born and raised from the South, we have high expectations from an Italian restaurant. The pasta was okay and the portions are very small for the price you pay. We left so hungry. Then secondly, the service was terrible! We arrived and noone approached us for a solid 3 min even though we waived to the waiters for their attention. Then once we got placed to a table, we didn't get any introduction or menu. We were waiting for almost 10min to get even a menu! I had to go up to the bar to ask if we could get the menu's. Then we had to keep trying to get the waiters' attention for water and to order. Will not recommend and will never go back.
Excellent environment, outstanding service, delicious food (beef tarter to die for! With the fried gnocco).
I wish those guys were in Melbourne too!!
Service was great. Food was ok, serving sizes very small for what you pay. We ordered 2 pastas to share, but the waiter obviously did not hear us correctly and brought us one of the wrong pastas. Flavours were ok, pasta was a little too undercooked, wouldn't go if you are after 'traditional Italian'.
A cosy and inviting atmosphere with an exemplary standard of food and service
We’ll def come back
Always a perfect dining experience, can never fault
Best pasta ever but was trumped by the superb antipasti!!
Excellent pasta, great service and overall wonderful experience!
Excellent menu, interesting choices, fresh and delicious. Staff were helpful, very knowledgeable and fun. Perfect visit. We’ll be back.
Entrè (antipasto) selection was good. Great flavours. Pasta main was VERY Al dente. Rich and strong flavours. Large serves.
Kim, our waitress was delightful and hugely helpful. The food was superb and fresh. The wine list was a little limited, but what was available was good, interesting and different with an Italian flavour. This is a good modern Australian restaurant.
We dined on a Tuesday night that was quite busy with social distancing under pressure.
Food was quite well presented - we had kingfish crudo then grilled octopus and pasta and tiramisu. All dishes were tasty with servings a little on the small side.
Service was friendly and helpful, coping well with the high level of activity on the night.
Amazing staff, atmosphere and food. The octopus, lamb ragu and the beef tartare were simply outstanding
We then sat looking at the wine list for 15 minutes looking at the wine list, before the waitress provided us a food menu. They then asked us 5 minutes later if we wanted to order food.. I responded with ‘ no actually, id like to order wine’. We purchased a bottle of wine, where the waitress poured me a glass, without the option of tasting and walked away. I then picked my glass up which was covered in red wine, having to wipe the residue away with the napkin, trying to save my clothes from staining.
We proceeded to order our food shortly after.. Firstly, I had to ask for any specials and they quite frankly brushed me off by saying ‘ oh its a vegetation pasta, and that’s all we have’ ... Okay. So obviously they didn’t want me to order that... We ordered an entrée and 2 mains, blindly. And I say blindly, because I then witnessed the same waitress clearly EXPLAIN/describe the menu to the table next to us, in a way I expected to be served.
Our entrée came out, and I was pleasantly surprised, it was beautiful! One of the best meals I have ever eaten, so at this stage, all the service and negative feeling prior to this moment, really didn’t mean a whole lot to the overall experience. Our entrée was whipped ricotta and honey, so as you can imagine, it was a little messy / sickly. My partner happened to drop some on the table.
The finished entrée plate sat on the table, mess on the table and all, until the waiter bought out our mains. Trying to juggle the plates he was about to provide us, he took away the entre plate, whilst we helped him stack the plates. The side plates we ate off, remained on the table whilst we started to eat our mains.
The mains – Jesus, if you had shares in Pepper , I know why! My plate of pasta was so over powered with Pepper, I can still taste it now. My partner ordered a Chilli dish, which tasted like tomato tins and chilli paste and the pasta was undercooked. Not aldente, but crunchy. It was honestly bad.
Once we finished our meals, surp
The pasta was unfortunately disappointing... it was undercooked, there was not enough sauce and serving sizes were small.
Great food , excellent friendly service . Lovely atmosphere . Would come back in a heartbeat .
Nido always delivers on delicious food and amazing service. It's a buzzing place with a mixed crowd - the handmade pasta is to die for - we had macheroni with lamb ragu. Wine is on the pricier side - but that's pretty typical in Adelaide. Highly recommended and can't wait to visit again. Service from Becky was amazing.
Food: The entree of ricotta and honey was incredible. Unfortunately it went downhill from there. We ordered the pasta dish with guanciale and black pepper but the black pepper was so overpowering. We also ordered the gnocchi, and whilst the pasta was cooked perfectly, it lacked any real flavour.
Service: The service was amazing, really knowledgeable staff that walked us through the whole menu. 10/10
Overall, probably won’t be back.
Absolutely amazing food we will definitely be back again. The service was incredible. We loved our wine which was chosen by our waiter. Everything about this place is 6 stars
Service was spectacular.
Pasta was amazing.
