The sleek location at Shoppes at Palmilla, one of the most upscale addresses in Los Cabos, opened its doors in 2005.

Perhaps the best sushi in the area. Very creative menu for fresh sashimi seafood. The staff were all very attentive and helpful with selections. The courtyard setting is a plus.

The food and service are the best in Cabo. We come here several times each time we are u town. Only criticism would be that the outside patio, while beautiful, is noisy due to the proximity of the road. Not a reason to avoid the restaurant, just an observation. We highly recommend this location!

The entire meal was a bit disappointing. I have had SO many friends rave about how amazing Nick San is and our experience was mediocre. If you are going to Nick-San, go to the other one, that's the one I hear has been exceptional.

The service was excellent as usual. The food was fresh and beautifully plated. It is not a low cost restaurant rant but you get good value for your money. Also, they are very consistent. The food is always delicious.

Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed by Nick-San as we had high expectations coming in. From the start, service was poor. It took a while for a waiter to come for our drink orders and when he did come with our hot tea it was cold. We had to send the teas back twice before they brought it back hot. We finally put in our food orders only for the mains to come before the appetizers. For example the miso soup was one of the last things to come out. The food that we did receive (before we cancelled a few items for taking way to long) was not fresh. The raw fish tasted chewy and had a strong scent as if it had been cut and out for days. My dad ended up feeling extremely sick later that night. In addition to the poor service and awful food, the ambiance is quite strange. Think early 2000's decor with strange purple lighting, and blue suede chairs. We had high hopes for Nick-San and were shocked by our experience.

Hands down, the best sushi rolls ever. We went with the waiter’s recommendation for sushi roll that was not on the menu but very popular. Delicious! Also the Tuna Tostado appetizer and Sashimi salad are outstanding. And the Cucumber cocktail has now become our favorite spirited beverage. We look forward to returning while still in town. Nik-San is a dinner must while in Los Cabos.

The best sushi I have ever had in Cabo! Every roll, sashimi, and fish was very fresh and tasty! The infused Mexican flare added to each dish made it so good that you didn’t even need soy sauce! I highly recommend going to Nick San over any other sushi restaurant!

Elegant and innovative, starting with the booth for Covid sanitizing that you step into! The food was Japanese with a Mexican flair, all very good. The service was attentive but not hovering. A great place for dinner!
