   Great atmosphere, even better food (with a wonderful choice of drinks to accompany the dinner!) and wonderful service from the hostess. Will definitely be returning here once my husband and I are back up in Llandudno! Highly recommend to anyone who wants fine dining in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

   Residents and visitors do go to this restaurant. It has a smart decor, the service is great and the food is terrific and good value. The food is served as small plates and our mix of fish, meat and vegetables were uniformly good. Can completely recommend and will go back.

   Fabulous food, we ordered multiple small plates and all were outstanding. My personal favourite was the scallops, juicy and packed with flavour!! The service was great also, very nice young lady served us and made us feel very comfortable and welcomed as soon as we came through the door, 10/10 would recommend if visiting or local to Llanduno. Thank you all for a very enjoyable evening.

   If you’re in Llandudno and love great food and excellent service then this is the place for you!! Absolutely fabulous menu with something for everyone, I had a selection of small plates and sides and everyone was super! Will 100% be visiting this restaurant when I’m next in Llandudno! Well done 10/10!!!!!

   Llandudnos hidden gem! How this place isn't rammed is beyond me. Absolutely fantastic food, best we've had in llandudno in many years of visiting. Love the idea of British tapas being able to share and experience different flavours. Lamb, pork, scallops, and croquettes were the stand-out, though all were lovely. The service was excellent, and the wine list was fab. Highly highly recommend if you're ever in llandudno. We will be back

   Honestly don’t know and can’t understand what’s gone wrong at this establishment. What once was a place to look forward to going for a special occasion now certainly falls short. One thing for sure won’t be going back. Not a friendly greet on arrival. The restaurant was empty other than a table of three at the back. We noticed there wasn’t a table for four laid out. We asked the waiter did you receive our booking he replied yes. But you’re early! Now then that was not the best of starts, normally we would be asked if we would like a drink at the bar. If being 10 minutes early is an issue when you want to have a drink God help this business future. The waiter poured the wine as if he was just taken off the street, he certainly didn’t know how to handle a bottle of wine and pour profesionally. He spilt some wine on the table, was there any attempt to clean it up, absolutely no. Mussels were ordered, where do you think the finger bowl was put. Yes you’ve got it, over the spilt wine as if it was to hide it. Nothing more than shoddy sloppy service. As for the food, mediocre it probably lost its shine due to the service. One of us had steak, it was hard going. Very tough. Again this was mentioned to the waiter, was anything done to rectify the situation, no it wasn’t. Left to carry on as if there was no care in the world. To be honest we turned down sweets, we were made to feel if we took them we were making them stay longer at work. A lot is to be said when you arrive at an almost empty restaurant, you wonder why. You have been warned.

   We are shocked and embarrassed by this review and obviously so sorry that the service that you experienced was so poor. Our restaurant manager had been called away to help in the main hotel and the waiter that served you needs a lot of training and shouldn’t have been left alone. Our manager and our chef are truly very upset that your meal was spoiled by the service. We really do care about every guest who comes through the door and, for better or worse, our (fortunately few) very bad reviews cause them both sleepless nights.

   Scallops dish was awesome. Beef wasn’t taste like beef as it was covered by the sauce. Crab dish was tasty but too salty. Staff was nice and kind. Food takes around 30 minutes to serve. If you’re really hungry this place is not recommended.

   We arrived to an empty restaurant and didn’t receive a warm welcome. Once we were sat down all went smoothly, apart from the wine we ordered being out of stock. The food was excellent, although very slightly on the rich side. Would recommend.

    Amazing food, excellent service, caters for vegans and pescatarians. Great value for money. Slightly better than the cottage loaf.
