New Hampton

I was staying near Kings Cross with a group of work colleagues. We booked for 20 at the New Hampton two nights in a row. Everything was relaxed and excellent. Great value for money and people could pay for their food and drinks separately. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

It was a horrible service experience. Bartender made you seat yourself, come up to bar to order and good luck if you wanted a refill on a drink.

Food was decent enough but would probably not go back.

Food was great but it was a pub. You seat yourself, order at the bar etc. There's no point making a reservation as it isn't a traditional restaurant.

Great place with great food and atmosphere! Will be going back for more lunch and drink sessions!

Went to the New Hampton and they said they didnt have the reservation. Was very disappointed and it ruined the night. Would not recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a good night with no hassle.

I’m now a big fan of the New Hampton. I used to visit when the Cross was a little more colourful. The laid back and tasteful new arrangement is right up my alley. Definitely the best Happy Hour drinks in Sydney central and the food is top class.
I never eat burgers, however after sampling the NHH burger, I’ve changed my mind

No table service for a party of 14. Won't go again.

Chris was amazing; so kind and helpful and wonderful. Food is huge and tasty. Really quick service and good wine list. I ordered the Ploughman’s platter, it was MASSIVE.

Great location and friendly staff! We were a party of 20 and got out own beautiful room and great service. The atmosphere is great, with dim lighting and interesting interior. Will definitely come back! Also, the sweet potato fries were great!

Fish and chips took 30 minutes to arrive despite near empty bistro.

We booked for 4 but at last moment changed to 7 ,accommodated with no hassles ,moved tables ,very friendly even though they had a large group Xmas party

The staff are outstanding, helpful, friendly, accommodating and wonderful service. My son's 18th Birthday was certainly memorable and can't say enough about the staff. Will definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends. Appreciated the atmosphere and the service was excellent on so may levels !
