This was our second time at New Fuji, and we brought our friends from Japan here on their last night in Vancouver. We had such a lovely dinner! The atmosphere is fun, and the restaurant is beautifully designed with a great Japanese-inspired theme. Our friends felt that the food was very authentic, and we all enjoyed every dish — everything was flavourful and delicious. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Vancouver!

We tried dinner here for the first time. The restaurant to got a more busy and louder closer to the end our night. The food was a bit on the salty side, and the interior got very smokey while food was being grilled. At one point I started to cough from the smoke in the restaurant. Over items on the list was the crispened duck and the pork cheek. Least fav item of the night was the Beef fillet - it was very chewy

Our dinner at New Fuji was great! Authentic Japanese restaurant featuring robatayaki-style grill, pressed sushi, chirashi, and udon dishes, along with creative drinks and unforgettable retro-Japanese ambiance. We had the Fluffy "rare" unagi omelette, truffle corn karaage, a day-aged whole grilled mackerel , a day-aged grilled squid, grilled oyster mushrooms and zucchini, and the Uni tomato cream yakiudon. To drink we had the Okinawan craft cola which was a treat. It was my brother's birthday and we were treated to a special sorbetto served alongside his name written in chocolate sauce on a special Happy Birthday plate. See you soon, New Fuji!
