Greta as usual !!
AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! So beautiful at night! Great music, great food, great prices, all around amazing amazing amazing experience. Probably my favorite experience during my trip to Cancun
This restaurants at the beginning of the hotel zone is Can Cun is now one of my favorite restaurants in Can Cun Be sure to ask to get a table in the “casitas”. (Do this with time). The tables are Bali style in the middle of the lagoon. There is a saxophone playing at sunset Thursdays and Saturdays. They are open for lunch. I had the green ceviche with basil it was delicious, kind of an unique combination. Then I had the catch of the day(It was super fresh) with garlic and Chile. ( Ajillo style). Mexico always do a good job with this style but be aware that there is a lot of garlic.
Vacation, nothing more special than that! Everything about this restaurant is special. Already looking forward to next year.
Outstanding setting and service. However, as is increasingly a problem everywhere, the fish ordered may not be the fish served. My wife ordered grouper and I ordered sea bass. Our fish was the same--probably mahi, but absolutely not what we selected from the menu. Had they told us a substitute fish was available that evening, we would have been pleased. Not to inform us was a deception. We will return again next year, but with questions first, and suggest future diners do likewise.
Navios is a great restaurant. We went there twice on our recent trip to Cancun- once for lunch and once for dinner.
The setting is beautiful- on a floating pier overlooking the lagoon.
The food was excellent both times. We had ceviche for appetizers and everyone enjoyed their seafood main dishes.
Service was very good. Overall, Navios is a great choice in Cancun.
Absolutely terrible experience. Poor quality food. Frozen fish, and very dry/tough steak. Service was very poor. Had to get up and walk to the front to get my check and pay. Not what you would expect from the other previous reviews.
Excellent ceviche, excellent service, excellent sunset!
The food was delicious and the view was great. The selection of cocktails and service was not 5 star, but it is worth going to for sure.
Excellent meal with Excellent service and great music. Beautiful restaurant on the water.
We made reservations at the last minute and they accommodated us with grace. Probably one of my favorite places ever...thank you Adam for making this a night to remember
Unbelievable setting. Superb service. Did I mention unbelievable setting: grass huts on a dock over the lagoon. Was there at sunset.
Everything you want and more! Such a great find! Romantic, friendly and terrific food! We were so happy when we walked down the stairs and saw the beautifully draped floating restaurant. From entry to exit, the place has it going on.
They immediately sat us and put us out on the floating dock. Candlelit table with white linens and twinkling lights above. Although it started to rain, they were very accommodating, ushering every guest into the main covered area. Without losing a beat, we were resat and enjoying our dinner.
Don’t forget to ask about the crocodiles that feed near the restaurant. Great experience!
I suggest the stuffed Poblano Pepper = yum! They substituted the grouper dish for sea bass at my husbands request with no bother.
Don’t forget to book ahead!
My new favorite restaurant! Please try the coconut mezcal drink!
Beautiful Restaurant, food was amazing and the service was outstanding!
Beautiful location and wonderful food but the service was somewhat slow and there was a boat docked that was blaring dance music over the romantic piped and live music. Ordered cebiche that did not list avocado in the ingredients but it came covered in avocado (I am allergic). Took another 20 minutes for the replacement to arrive. Had to ask for more water and wine.
Last minute reservation for dinner a plus. Service inconsistent—seemed like a different waiter each table visit. Food was good—saffron fettuccine with shrimp could have had more flavor. Salmon excellent. The appeal of this offering is the beautiful setting on the lagoon at sunset though our table only allowed one of us to enjoy the beautiful sight. Would go back with a reservation for a better table further out on the dock.
Food was good and our service in this visit was good. This is a beautiful location on the lagoon. Overall the experience was good. We just get a feeling that the people who work there aren't happy. Very few smiles through the night. Mostly serious faces. We don't try to be funny. We do try to be pleasant and hope for the same from the staff. No one was surly -- just don't seem enjoy working there.
Very nice experience and a good value for seafood. The service was excellent. The water view on the lagoon is perfect. We will be going back.
My husband and I had an anniversary dinner at Navios. We arrived 10 minutes early and waited to be seated close to our reservation time. Our table for 2 was on the far pier and therefore more exposed to breeze on lagoon. We were slightly chilled throughout dinner - should've brought a sweater/light jacket. Pleasant music played softly in the background and rope lighting along railings, etc. provided a nice ambience. Service was terrific until dessert when it became slower and waiting for bill and payment machine took longer than expected. Quality of wine and cocktails was excellent. We loved the flavoured butter served with warm bread. We shared the Navios pecadillas, and our pear/spinach salad and beef carpaccio appetizers were truly delicious. Main courses were cilantro-crusted salmon and salmon/halibut duo, each served with black rice and steamed vegetables. Flavours, presentation were wonderful. We selected one light dessert - the crème caramel flan - but were served a second - a small cake-like presentation - provided 'on the house' because it was our anniversary. Very nice of Navios to make this gesture. Sadly, we did not enjoy either dessert and will skip next time. The other desserts on menu were heavier. Despite the dessert and slower service at the end of our dinner, we did very much enjoy ourselves and will be back on our next visit to Cancun. The prices are reasonable for dinner offerings and Navios offers good value for money in a charming atmosphere.
Need better gluten free selection, good sauces etc instead of serving it all "naked". Many restaurants even serve gluten free rolls to begin the meal. The staff should be better educated on what "gluten" is and mark common allergens on menu (milk, soy, gluten, nuts)
Loved this place last year. Service was terrible, view and table wonderful. Waiter seemed like he was trying to rush us yet forgot to put in our order. Took bread away then brought it back when realized food wasn’t coming. Gave us complimentary drink. Hour later food came out. Husband’s order was wrong. He had to wait additional time for food. The ambiance is beautiful! Nothing better. Waiter needs training
Navios is a beautiful restaurant located on the lagoon of the hotel zone. Food was delicious and service was wonderful. They take credit cards , usd etc so having to get pesos isnt a big concern ! I dined by myself but this is a lovely location for a date night !
Excellent food and service! Alejandro was our waiter, and he was outstanding!
Came here 3 out of 5 nights we were in Cancun! It’s exactly what you want for a beautiful beach dinner!
Excellent all around
Food was mediocre, the vegetables seemed frozen steamed veggies from Costco. Needs to better train their staff. We were given a table right next to a smoking table. Not worth it.
Solicité evento de cumpleaños algo en especial y no me tomaron en cuenta eso.....
The food was so-so. Pricey. I would get there before sunset to enjoy it. There are better places up the road like Harry’s.
Beautiful environment with excellent service and great food!
Love it. I was celebrating there birthday of my girlfriend, kitchen is excellent, service is excellent, view is excellent. Great place to visit
Navios was spectacular! The ambiance was intimate, on the water with stunning views. We were there with a group of 5 couples for dinner and the food was absolutely delicious. The service was exceptional, I wish we could have eaten there more than just the 1 time because the food was that good. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious meal at a beautiful location and for very reasonable pricing! I hope to come back one day.
Nice place. Little loud. Limited menu.
This was our first time at Navios- the restaurant is on the lagoon side of Cancun and it is literally build on stills over the water with several private huts on the water- very romantic and the food was delicious, mexican fusion, very high quality using excellent ingredients- our favorite restaurant of the trip
Love this place -- would go back on next trip! Ambiance, service, food all wonderful!
We sat by the water. It was very romantic. The food was fabulous. We had the Mediterranean salad and 1000 players salad. Both were wonderful and fresh. We both had the Popeye filet. Delicious!!
Food was good...on par with price. Service was slow and didn't explain much.
It was delicious. Staff very sevicely
Good. Delicious delicious
View so romantic but great for family. It was my case
