Hold the sugar!!
The venue is very nice on a pier with high thatched roofs with beautiful lighting. The venue encouraged us to ignore the terrible service. The owners should truly start over staff wise. The menu looked sophisticated alas when the food came it was sweet. Too much sugar in everything we ordered. We paid after ordering appetizers, took the bottle, and ate our entrees at a less pretentious restaurant with much better fare and service. My advice, don’t bother coming here.
Lovely place. Great ambiance.
Our server was really moody and rude. Usually food is great but the black rice was not good. Fish is almost always fantastic
Food was amazing, ambiance was amazing. Great restaurant!
Beautiful restaurant on the water with a wide variety of seafood with Mexican flair. All of the items we tried were outstanding and all of the fish was prepared beautifully. Great service and they were very accommodating in preparing simpler items for our kids. Great location for sunset dining.
En Foursquare lo califican en 9.2 la verdad yo creo q esta sobrevalorado no se me hizo que valiera tanto la calificación yo le daría no más de 7.0 . Los tacos de langosta, caros y no valen la pena
My 2 friends and I went to Navios for my birthday dinner and was not disappointed. The food and ambiance were great and the saxophone player was an extra bonus. They even gave me a little free dessert with a candle.
Gorgeous restaurant. Great service. Good food. Reasonable prices.
Great seafood, great atmosphere, great sunset.
One of the most beautifully situated restaurants I've ever eat at. The view is just stunning!
The food and the atmosphere at Navios was great! Couldn't have asked for a better dinner. Go at sunset for a romantic date!
Grilled octopus exceeded my expectations.
Excellent all around with no complaints. We will be back
El servicio excelente y la comida muy rica!!
Service very slow... Confused waiters.
After being spoiled at Porfirio's the night before, we came back from NAVIOS extremely disappointed. What a let down this was... This restaurant could be so much more... The location is great and the views are indeed beautiful. Service was inexperienced and the food was mediocre at best. The Lime Soup was nothing to talk about. The Coconut Shrimps were good but they successfully ruined the taste with a mango sauce that was way too sweet for the dish. My wife lobster tacos were too salty. The wine list is uninspired. We left without ordering desert. This was our worst dining experience in Cancun.
I brought my mum on a trip with me and we had the most fabulous evening here, the setting is just gorgeous and the food and the staff were amazing!
Will definitely be coming back here again!
The ambience and location is beautiful and the staff are lovely. However, the chef had a heavy hand with salt and almost all the dishes were over-salted. we sent one of the dishes back because it was basically inedible however when it came back it was still quite salty. Two of the dishes were ok but the rest felt like a bucket of salt had been added. Otherwise, the place is lovely and romantic. Too bad about the food
Agradable atmosfera, muy buena comida
Love everything about this place. It is definitely worth it. Very reasonable prices.
Great food and service! Sax player was fantastic. 💞
Excellent food. Great service. Roberto was the best waiter.
2nd visit to Navios and it was excellent!!
Great evening enjoying a date with my bride
Service was fabulous
Food was great even better when they can accommodate GF needs
Sunset is gorgeous
We lucked into Thursday night live saxophone music too
We will be back
Great ambiance on the water lagoon side in Cancun. Beautiful sunset! Best meal and service while there. Great value!! Thank you Edgar and Quinto for treating us like house guests!
Excellent view and food.
Beautiful location on the lagoon. Wait staff very friendly and helpful. Great for a romantic dinner or families.
Fabulous! Beautiful setting and amazing meal.
The view is amazing!! Live music was playing in the background. Had the lobster tacos and flank steak that were not our favorites. Still on of our favorite places because of the ambience. Must go at sunset.
This is our third year visiting Navios and each time we've had a wonderful experience. This year they sat us at a perfect table to watch the sunset and celebrate my husband's birthday. Quinto, our waiter, was excellent. The food wonderful. Navios can accommodate all diet requests. This place is a gem on the lagoon.
We went to Navios to celebrate our last night in Cancún, having seen great reviews of food and service. We arrived at 8:45 pm for a 9 pm reservation. We were greeted and seated immediately at a nice table on the lagoon and given menus.
We sat for 15 minutes and before a waiter came to us. No introduction or anything. Just “are you ready to order?”
We ordered a bottled water, 2 cocktails, appetizers and dinner all at once.
We sat another 15 minutes. No water, no cocktails. Nothing. I went back to the entrance to asked a server if I could speak to a manager. The head waiter came and spoke to me and apologized and said he’d take care of it and would be right to us. We sat another five minutes. We got up and walked out. Still nothing on our table and it was now 9:30 pm.
En general el ambiente es muy bonito con una vista preciosa de la laguna. La comida no fue muy buena, todo muy salado, los postres demasiado informal, y mi esposo casi se ahoga por un pedazo de concha de marisco en su arroz
Navios is a 10 minute walk from the Westin where we were staying. Excellent value overall. The service and ambience is outstanding. Very moderately priced compared to other seafood restaurants in Cancun. We visited twice during our stay and were not disappointed.
Great setting but slow service and bad food. None of the dishes we ordered were good.
Navios is a must in Cancun! Great menu, delicious food and presentation. All the staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Best meal we have had since being here in Cancun......will return.
It is hard to think there is a prettier setting. A must for all but especially with a loved one. A great escape from the big hotels.
What a spectacular venue! And the food was just as wonderful. I can not recommend this restaurant more highly. If you're in Cancun, you absolutely must experience Navios. Atmosphere, live music, romance, and privacy. Go so you can watch the sunset!
Dined at Navios twice during a recent trip . The food is excellent , the location on the water is beautiful, service a bit inexperienced but good. The only thing I didn’t like about the restaurant is the bar , clumsily crafted cocktails served in questionable glassware ( a margarita served, with ice cubes , in a 6 oz martini glass, really ? ) . Price point for cocktails is too high , Restaurant 101: if you’re trying to be trendy, makes your drinks strong and bring in a good bartender ! Great food deserves great drink .
Really great dining experience, one of the best i’ve had. Highly recommend.
Navios is the most beautiful, best place in Cancun hidden on the bay side. Definitely go for sunset. It is magnificent. The tables are on a series of docks literally like you are floating. Our waiters Roberto and Alberto were amazing. Roberto took a number of pictures for us Luke it was a photo shoot. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. All of the seafood was so fresh. In 4 days we went there twice. Scenic and beautiful!! Put it at the top of your list and enjoy!!
