The experience at Mosconi is consistently amazing. I have been impressed each time I have visited. The extensive wine list, menu and specials is well worth checking out.

I love this place. The staff are always so lovely and food is absolutely delicious.

One meal did not arrive with the 6 others that had been ordered and the 2 plates of potatoes arrived after we had all finished our main meals. They were good but way to late!

Excellent authentic Italian food and extensive and quality wine list

Extremely disappointing! We booked this restaurant based on all the five star reviews but unfortunately our experience was certainly not five star. We were greeted by a very stern manager called Lucy who advised us that because we had arrived earlier than our table was booked for we were allowed to sit at our table, but were were not allowed to order our food until our reservation time, even though the area where we were seated was empty. We were also seated at the worst table in the restaurant, facing the kitchen and next to the toilet! We did receive our menus at our booked time, but after placing our order still had to wait for almost an hour for the meals to arrive. We spoke to the waitress and explained that we were unhappy with the situation. We had booked to celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary, they had us sitting at the worst table in the restaurant and the food was taking too long. She returned with 2 glasses of champagne and an apology from the manager, we were allowed to move tables for dessert if we wanted to, too little too late. The manager should have apologised personally and not sent our lovely waitress, who was doing her best, to do her bidding.
After the meal we spoke to the owner, who was equally miserable and totally disinterested in what we had to say, he never once apologised to us, but why would he when we were leaving and had already paid!
The food was nice, the waitress Emily was lovely, but the management and handling of our situation was disgraceful. Certainly not a five star experience even though they were charging five star prices. We will not recommend this restaurant and we certainly will not dine here again.

Great menu; hard to select what to dine on. Very happy wth my choice of fish of the day, but the pasta dishes were very tempting.
Nice list of wines by the glass. Conveniently located just off James St. We booked late so we’re pleased to get a booking. Only one was outside. It is on the pavement but still nice ambience & was a beautiful Brisbane summer night.

when amending booking i felt like my request was an inconvenience to whoever answered the phone. request was accepted but experience could be a little more welcoming to what is a very good restaurant.
waiter took it upon himself to bring a different wine to the one ordered and then proceeded to say this was a better wine and we could have for same price as one originally ordered. now the suggested wine was very nice and we did eventually order a bottle (second), perhaps he could have made the recommendation at the beginning and not just take the liberty of changing the order and producing the bottle saying this wine is superior to what we had ordered. anyway, all ok in the end, but did annoy some at the table.

Beautiful food and an interesting wine list with lots of options by the glass. The gnocchi was soft, fluffy and full of flavour. The fellow at the next table had the cotoletta which looked amazing and he said it fantastic.

Amazing food (the scallops with sweet corn risotto was incredible!), amazing srvice and a nice atmophere. We had a cute table outside and it felt like Europe!

They had run out of the Mushroom and Truffle ravioli starter which we were super disspointed about, but everythign else was phenomenal.

This place was delightful. My husband and I enjoyed it very much. We felt completely taken care of and spoilt with the quality of food and drinks and service.
The fresh pasta was exquisite and the seafood cooked perfectly. Portions were also on point leaving us both incredibly happy.

Mosconi is the essence of Italy ... great service, delicious food, outstanding service and fabulous wines. Can’t wait to do it all again ... the corn risotto with scallops is sensational.

WOW is all I can say about this cozy Italian restaurant. The food was delicious. Highly recommend the Moreton Bay Bug Linguine. Melts in your mouth. Service and ambience was fantastic.
