Server Ryan was amazing and knowledgeable. Host was funny but professional! Love how the staff is easy going and friendly even tho the environment is more upscale. Dinner was expensive but it was worth it. Food was absolutely delicious and came out in a timely manner. The dim lights here make the dinner you’re having feel private. Perfect for a date even tho I was out with friends.

Service and food quality was fantastic! I was a bit disappointed with how loud the restaurant music was playing which forced the noise level up. The dining room was too dark.

We arrived 15 minutes early for our reservation and the hostess proceeded to tell us they were running a little late and she would call us when our table was ready. The bar area had a few dirty tables open so we waited for someone to clear the dirty glasses and wipe off the table. One of the bartenders came over almost 10 minutes later to ask if we would be dining at the table or waiting for our reservation. After telling them that we are waiting they cleared the glasses but did not wipe down the table, we order our drinks before he left. Carrying the drinks and a bar towel the bartender wiped the table flipping the towel a few times and then grabbed our drinks with the same hand he used to wipe the table. We should have taken this as a sign that Morton's does not concern themselves with cleanness and that they are not worried about COVID, but instead we continued to wait for our table.
We were seated 30 minutes after our reservation time and the long waits continued with our wait staff. 15 minutes went by after being seated before the waiter stopped by. After placing our order it took 35 minutes for appetizers (just soup) to arrive and another 25 minutes until the steaks made an appearance.
On the plus side the soup and steaks were fantastic, could have been influenced by hunger pains.
Even though we liked the food we had expectations that were not met due to the long delays, lack of attentive service, and that awful experience in the bar.
There is a lot of competition in the area that I will try before going back to Morton's The Steakhouse.
We were there on 04/17/2021 for my dad’s birthday. The filets were cold, our water glass got refilled when dinner was nearly over. Couldn’t even order another beer or glass of wine. Not enough servers and too many tables. If you can’t service the customers with attention, don’t open!
Food was delicious but I feel the service was ok could have been much better.

I told them I had a shellfish allergy and they brought me the wrong macaroni and cheese- the one with lobster and I had a terrible allergic reaction. Disappointed to say the least.
Best dinner in a long time! We made reservations for my birthday. Hostess was attentive and nice. Our waiter was amazing! Service was timely and food was delicious! Would definitely recommend this place for any special event!
Morton's is my favorite steak place.But I also love their pork chop! The side dishes are superb! Dessert is always exceptional.
And I discovered their hamburgers are incredible!

Kudos to the manager. He was hustling non-stop. Since the restaurant was very busy
(Restaurant Week and just after COVID reopening) he was dealing with understaffing and who-knows-what-else. The manager wasn't "above" cleaning tables, moving chairs, setting place settings and spinning three plates in the air. What ever it took to help the waitstaff. Clearly a great manager who is "all in" to make Morton's successful. His staff must adore him.
I was impressed.
Make down in "value" because alcohol is wicked expensive.
My daughter had her first cocktail for her 21st birthday here. As well as a fabulous meal. Well Done!
The phone rang off the hook no one to answer due to limited staff sooo annoying, steak was just ok they need to season it especially with covid that we can't have salt and pepper on the table etc. Just OK nothing terrible nothing fantastic.
Such a nice place for a quiet dinner! We went for restaurant week and it was a steal! Their sea salt caramel cheesecake was to die far, and our waitress was a sweetheart and very attentive!

Restaurant week Menu was really good this year. The double Pork chop and 8oz Filet Mignon were so delicious. We spent extra on sauces and grey goose martinis. Excellent night!

Our first time there, we had a great time celebrating my husband’s 50th birthday. Food and drinks were delicious ambiance was stellar. Will definitely be coming back.
Went to celebrate a special birthday with family. Guess we chose the wrong night. Lovely that they give you a personalized menu that says happy birthday with the date on it. Unfortunately it was one day off, wrong date! Service was awful. Our server was either stressed from being short staffed or is desperate need of a medication for ADHD. Would take an order or request from one of us then FLED without taking other requests or orders. This happened on numerous occasions. Needless to say dinner took forever. Another server did say they were very short staffed. This is not the Hortons we have ever been accustomed to. Could be Covid related? Very disappointing to say the least. A 600$ dinner with poor service????

Mortons Steak House is our favorite restaurant in San Diego. We had the Miso Chilean Sea Bass and a prime rib plate. The food, service and ambiance is always at the top of the mountain. I can’t say enough about this restaurant,
The best filet mignon Ive ever had! A light crust on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. We always get the mushrooms and mashed potatoes on the side.
Jen our server was wonderful, a perfect evening. The manager, Tim, made sure everything was great!!!!
All the steaks are wonderful, cooked to perfection. My favorites are the porter house and the bone-in rib eye. Sides are delicious. The wine least is very complete and with options for every budget and every taste. The attentiveness, warmth and efficiency of the waiting staff is fantastic, especially Alicia, Jennifer and Tim. Going to Morton's never gets old!!!
Excellent food as usual. Service was slower this time around, but worth the wait.
Everything was good except my Prime Rib was over cooked
Drinks and bread came out within 5 mins of ordering. Placed our order for steaks and 2 sides. After waiting for 30 mins, our steaks came out but no sides. By the time 1 of the sides arrived my husband and I already finished our steaks. The side (asparagus) was cold, soggy, and salty. We returned it. 10 mins later our 2nd side (lobster mac & cheese) arrived: By this time we were over our Morton’s experience and requested a to go box. The waiter was very apologetic and kept saying he didn’t know why our food took so long. By the way, the restaurant wasn’t busy and it seemed like everyone was getting their food in a timely manner.
I have always enjoyed Morton’s! This is a top notch experience. Change nothing.
Service is the best always kind and prompt. The management is wonderful and although busy very courteous. Great food but Bring back the hash browns and onion rings please.

it was wonderful to dine inside and the service was impeccable as usual. The food fabulous - especially those amazing grilled oysters which they made special for us - off menu.
