Overall great service, terribly overpriced for the food but the experience was ok.

Hidden gem! All aspects... 5 stars worthy. If you're looking to impress or for that perfect romantic place, Moro is it.

We were running late from a last minute hotel change. The entrance was a little hard to find but very cool so it was not a bother at all. You walk a trail through the Habitas hotel, which seems amazing, to this oasis looking courtyard. The restaurant sits in the middle of it and has a great rustic meets modern charm. The hostess and staff were amazingly gracious with us. We had greats seats at a low table. Felt as if we were bunkering from a possible sand storm but you can always poke your head up to see the liveliness happening right next to you on the beach.

We ordered a few of appetizers and small plates. Lunch was ending at 5:30pm and the we got there at 4:45pm. My passion fruit mojito was great, the guacamole was great, the fish tacos were amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Tulum.

Absolutely incredible dinner at Moros! The ambiance was stunning with the jungle beach vibe. It was a windy drizzly night and it was still beautiful. We sat on the pillows and enjoyed vegan and gluten free delicious food! The mushroom tacos, grilled shrimp, and octopus were incredible. Highly recommend!

We booked at Moro to have beach access and everything was perfect. The food, drinks, service, view - all absolutely perfect. Would go back and highly recommend to everyone I know.

Showed up with a party of 8 to what is very very difficult to find, no signage, nothing showing or helping to locate this place. Finally arrived and a beautiful private, secluded and quiet restaurant after 30 minutes of looking, only to find out that children are not allowed. No where on their listing or page does it state an age requirement, nor did we have small or unruly kids........needless to say was pretty disappointed. Looks beautiful, quiet location.......

We went here last night to Moro for dinner. Our last meal in Tulum. We were very disappointed, to say the least. We ordered the avocado salad, shrimp dish, pork belly and cabbage. Which they were out of so we got carrots instead. All of the food was "ok" nothing was amazing. The shrimp was undercooked and not good. We each had 1 bite and kindly sent it back. Our waitress, who was very nice said, "A lot of people actually send this dish back." With that being said, we got the check and the shrimp was still on it. She said she can't take the dish off. I asked to speak to a manager and the hostess came over to tell me "They can't remove a dish just because we don't like it?" In my experience that's exactly why you remove a dish from the check. She was rude, the food wasn't good and it was a very disappointing last meal. Lots of other better places in Tulum, won't be coming back.

From the moment we planned our trip to Tulum, I wanted to go to this restaurant, it was a surprise for my boyfriend. And I am glad we did, starting with Claudio, who was our server to the food, everything was exceptional. Claudio made sure that we understood how everything is cooked and how all the ingredients are local. The food AMAZING!

Food, cocktails and service was great. One of my favorite meals in Tulum of all time. Get the steak!

Great experience with attention to service. Food was great. Only was not able to have the Kobe beef as it was out.

We spent the day here, the service was def outstanding and we got to try several dishes from their brunch and regular menu, plus some of their signature cocktails. Everything was fresh and tasty, the octupus and the ceviche an experience to the senses. Great place!

Lovely place and the food was pretty good. It was low season so there we not very many people and the service was just ok, but overall, a nice dinner. The worst part was the bugs!! I know that isn’t necessary a criticism of the restaurant, but many other places in this area have smoke or something to control the mosquitoes... this place had bug spray on the table and it didn’t help AT ALL haha. So bring your own or wear socks 😂

This was an amazing first breakfast experience! The food was served beautifully & it was so delicious. It started to rain a bit while I was there and right away they adjusted every table & the doors to make sure no one got wet. The staff were very friendly and always making sure you were taken care of. 10/10 recommend.

The host didn't respond when I greeted him initially. He then asked if I was a guest, which I was not, but when I notified him of my reservation his tone immediately changed. I have eaten here for the past year and the food presentation wasn't as expected with a noticeable decline in the friendliness of your staff.

Wonderful food for all palates who appreciate fine food! Our table was on the sand with the sound of the ocean yards away. Our server George and the entire staff was incredible. It was super beautiful, romantic and did I mention DELICIOUS? Would certainly recommend and return.

Moro is simply fantastic. The Tulum vibes make it even more exceptional but the food on it’s own is world class. Every single dish is delicately crafted with fresh ingredients and new flavors. Coupled with a very creative cocktail menu and wonderful live music Moro is a must in Tulum.

By far one of the best restaurants in Tulum. For me the number one reazon its the food with perfect flavor, taste and flair; not forgething that the plase is just rigth on the Beach its unique so you Can enjoy a perfect bare foot luxury experience.

What an extraordinary evening. The meals were planned with great attention to detail, and executed very well. The kitchen staff were excited about their creations and it showed in the care and execution of some quite complex dishes. The flavors were rich and true to their origins. Fresh ingredients and plenty of options for all tastes. The wine list was a little steep, but the cocktails compensated by being creative, delicious, and reasonable. We attended a musical event following dinner which was the topper to the night. What a great atmosphere - think jungle meets beach with a bohemian elegance. Looking forward to another visit.

One of the other posts indicated the establishment is not kid friendly. I hope this is a mistake as the venue would be wonderful to share with children and allow them to also grow their appreciation for food and dining experiences.
