   Always reliable - great food and service. We were here for Brunch on Mother’s Day.

   My mother and I ordered the brambleberry French toast. We were served plain French toast. When asked if we received the right dish, the waitress saw what we had was plain French toast. Without much communication and waiting, we were brought over a couple of the components for the dish to construct it ourselves. Our French toast was now cold. Then I had to ask the waitress if we were still missing part of the dish to which she realized we were. In the end, we were charged for plain French toast at $14 each but the dish we ordered was $15 so it was messaged like we were done a big favor since we had to construct it ourselves. I usually have a great experience at Monument but this one felt off, particularly for Mother’s day.

   We had such a wonderful Mother’s Day brunch here! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and although we sat outside expecting it to be freezing, it ended up being perfect. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming—especially Sam, who went out of his way to accommodate our last-minute reservation after a snafu at another restaurant. It really reminded me that the human touch still matters. Yes, they were clearly understaffed and very busy, but everyone was working so hard to take care of guests, and it showed. Despite the rush, the food came out quickly, was made to order, super fresh, and absolutely delicious. The cocktails were amazing and added to the overall vibe of the day. Big shout-out to our waitress as well—she was so sweet and even gave us recommendations for their sister restaurants, which I now can’t wait to try. All in all, an incredible experience. The staff is so appreciated, and I’m looking forward to coming back!

   The vibe of the Monument is GREAT! Its young, and open and has a lively energy about it. The bar is very spacious and the drinks are wonderful! The host was an absolute gem. We were there for a 21st birthday, and even though it was a low key evening and dinner, he went out of his way to make the evening special for the birthday boy! The food is good, very edible...I wouldn't call it great by any means, but definitely good. Overall it was a lovely evening and a lovely place!

   Fresh takes on beloved dishes done to a high standard. Top notch service too. Have been twice and will return again whenever we’re in Boston.

   Outstanding restaurant in Charlestown on Main Street. It was sunny and warm and food was so good. The people were kind and nice. I loved my experience there and I can’t wait to go back. Thank you. See you soon.

    Delicious food and drinks! The only thing is the tables were maybe 2-3 inches apart so it really felt like a communal dining table with other guests. I’ll ask for a booth or high top next time!
