Great unique experience overall. Could not hear some of the staff talking about the dishes to really appreciate what was in the dishes due to overall noise on a Tuesday night.
It was a waste of time and money, I love fine dining and I’ve been to so many, here, Europe, Canada and USA but this was t the worst. I always give generous tip but did not do it on this occasion because it was really not worth my time and money.
Definitely not worth 3 hats. We had high expectations but left hungry and extremely underwhelmed.
4 hrs for a dining is exhausted! This is our second time dine in momofuku. I strongly suggest to change your dessert. For the pumpkin dessert. My partner and I only ate the pumpkin seed. The rest of it taste nothing but overly sweet.
One of the best experiences, the interaction with the chefs and staff was phenomenal. Could not fault a thing, food out of this world matched with the wines was fantastic. Thank you for a great evening, one to remember for a long time.
Food was varied and very good. Accompanying wines were a great match and very interesting. Not generally available. Waiter was very knowledgable and not intrusive but attentive. Food was just the right quantity and unusual with 3 dishes being exquisite.
The wait staff were phenomenal. We knew the food would be (and it was) but the way each and every staff went out of their way was so much appreciated.
The food, drink and whole experience will stay in our memories forever.
We booked a table at Momofuku with really high expectations. This is reasonable given the prestigious 3 chef hats it was awarded by the good food guide.
The food service is a set degustation menu which was comprised of at least 10 individual plates. 8 of these courses were delicious in my view. 1 was average and 1 (the passion fruit and crushed ice pre-desert) was not to my palate at all. We are all different though!
The $105 full pairing beverages was a real let down. I think customers should be advised that this is not all wine before ordering. I did not think much of serving 2 drinks at once (a Sparkling wine and a cider) with a comment of “these two have to last you 3 courses”, this is not a pairing. I appreciate on a ‘wine flight’ that it is customary to only serve a taste, 30mls or so. However, for my money, 30mls if cider is a bit of a con.
Without a doubt, Momofuku served special food with good service (serving staff could slow down slightly when presenting the food). It just failed to live up to the ‘bells and whistles’ that a 3 hat restaurant should demand.
The staff were friendly and efficient without being overly intrusive. The food was amazing and delicious without being too pretentious.
Perfect birthday venue, the staff were so warm and extremely professional, they even gave me a bonus dessert and all signed a birthday card for me. The food was next level amazing, all seasonal and inventive and beyond delicious.
Amazing food, lovely professional and friendly staff. We were even spoilt as it was a special occasion. We had a fantastic time.
Yes. It’s a definite must try. I’ve never tried Caribbean style food before but it is definitely a delight

Food and service was great, however the venue lacks atmosphere when seated at the tables. Otherwise impressive meal.
We have been fortunate to dine at some of Sydney's finest restaurants, but the entire experience while dining at Momofuku Seiobo surpassed all others. The atmosphere is the first of the senses to be enjoyed. Ambient lighting, spacious seating, great background music, attentive and knowledgeable staff, and beautiful decor all don't really prepare you for what is to come. Every dish created is brought to your table by the chef who prepared it, who then lets you know the ingredients and how the dish was prepared. This information, and each chef's enthusiasm, leads you to savor the most outstanding and sublime cuisine imaginable. We were stunned by the intricacies of each dish. With matching wines, the entire evening was full of wonderful surprises and sensations.
Thank you Momofuku Seiobo staff for making my 60th Birthday so memorable. We will certainly dine with you again, and bring along our friends and family.

We thought that the food was very tasty and unusual (for my jaded palette), and the service was great, above what was required. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the foods and wines, and, indeed a lovely person.
Totally delicious food with interesting and exotic combinations of flavours. The staff is super friendly, there is almost a casual feel about the place, with reggae music in the air. The bar is the place to sit, savouring the dishes and watching the chef and kitchen staff at work, who are also the ones serving and presenting the dishes. One of the guests was pescatarian and they adapted the menu accordingly. Overall great experience.
Food was delicious - great to see the head chef there. Couldn't hear the staff properly and some of them seemed bored to be describing the dishes. I mentioned upon booking, and reconfirmed with the waitress on arrival that I didn't eat spicy food - I then had to send back 2 dishes because the request was never passed on. The waitress spoke only to my partner all night - unsure if its because he's male or because it was his birthday, but to apologise to him for my spicy meal and ask him how I'm enjoying my beverage seemed odd. The venue is beautiful and we loved sitting at the chefs table, just really disappointing that the service was not at the standard we expected, especially when paying premium prices.
We had a FABULOUS night out!! The food was AMAZING!!! 🤗 Everything I eat from now on will not be as good. 😂 We have a small business with a great little team of staff, so we really took notice of how well all of the staff at SeiObo worked together as a team. We also appreciated the high level of Customer service and how well my vegetarian menu was catered for, while keeping the same flavour texture profile as my husbands meal. We will DEFINITLY be back!!
Great experience where you are up close with the cooking. The chefs were really cool about interacting and discussing the food. The drink pairing was interesting but I might choose my own drinks if I went back (personal preference but I don’t remember the drinks being nearly as great as the food)

The food was amazing and a beautiful ambience. We were seated by the bar and because it is an open kitchen you get to see how they cook and prepare.

What an experience. Thank you for the caring service and humour. Which was icing on the cake really. Food was, thinking thinking ... star-studded. Lovely bits of flavour everywhere, so many textures, homeliness and exotica, weirdness leveled out by basic cook-sense-flavour-adventure-which-worked.
Loved everything about this restaurant. The food was diverse, beautifully presented and full of different flavor/texture combinations. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable and changing of playing between dishes was quick and courteous. Would DEFINITELY recommend this restaurant.
Food are almost the same style though some of them are good. Service is just up to standard and didn’t have any surprise. It is a ok meal. But not value with this price level.
Was a significant anniversary and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful.
We were sat at the counter but given the option of a table if that was more to our liking. The kitchen staff, waiters and chefs were professional, friendly and truly appeared to be enjoying the theatre of the evening. Food was sublime, we notified in advance of allergies but forgot to mention one of our party was not a seafood person, the waitstaff didn’t bat an eye, they just inquired as to what was ok and got on with the job, true professionals.

My husband and I have been returning annually for the last 4 years to celebrate our combined birthdays. It’s different and great each year. We will be back again next year.

First of all the entrance is quite hidden without any obvious sign; the giveaway is the orange logo on the door. The food was absolutely well executed and we enjoyed every single dish on the tasiting menu. We were also kindly gifted a birthday cake for celebration which is really sweet. Love it!
An amazing experience for my wife’s birthday. Truly unique food, and exceptional staff make for an outstanding evening. The signed birthday card for my wife was also a nice touch.
An absolute fantastic experience at Momofuko for my birthday. Food was outstanding, service was impeccable, and ambience was perfect. I have celiac and have found gluten free dining to be hit or miss. These guys went above and beyond to ensure my experience was just as good as my gluten-eating partners experience. They didn't just swap ingredient for subpar gluten free ingredient, such as gluten free soy sauce. Instead they used roasted tomatoes as the umami base in one of the sauces. Attention to these little details is what really really matters.
Needless to say every single course was amazing. I and my husband are very picky about our food and have never once gone to a restaurant where we loved every dish. Everything served at Momofuko's exceeded expectations.
Also, I highly recommend going with the full pairing for your drink. Each drink is perfectly matched to the courses.
Special shout out to the amazing staff. Each course is presented by different staff members all of them happy to answer every question and chat. Also the waitstaff are impeccable. Absolute sorcery the way they know who gets what wine glass at which time. Also they never once missed a beat when it came to my substitutions.
Overall am absolutely incredible experience and one I hope to repeat as soon as possible!!
Amazing food, loved the Caribbean flavours. Amazing service, I love that the chefs serve you the dishes! Lovely, professional staff. We had a counter seat overlooking the kitchen which was really interesting to watch. Overall amazing value for money for a three hatted restaurant in Sydney!
Very few tables guaranteed great service, super friendly staffs! No one course specially stood out but overall pretty high quality and there's nothing I dislike. Particularly impressed by all the smells of the food (I wish to dive my head into the bowl and take a nap)! Maybe work a bit more on the non-alcohol pairing I feel a bit weak and not impressed. But a very lovely dinner and I would recommend to all.
