We made the right choice coming to Minami to celebrate my mom’s birthday this year. The food and service were excellent! Minami’s Wagyu beef on a sizzling stone plate never cease to amaze us. The Minami maki rolls were very delicious. The beef was so tender that it was melting in my mouth. I would totally reccommend Minami for restaurant goers who want to experience fun and creative Japanese food!

We had a fantastic dining experience at Minami! Our server Kelly, who was excellent, took us through the menu and recommended some delicious options. We will be back!

We came in between TIFF screenings and let our server know we were tight for time. She made sure our meal was served & we were done with time to spare! And sooooo delicious!

Not many options for someone who is gluten free. Drinks were good but food was just okay. Update: Spoke to management following my dining experience and was very impressed with the customer service. Was informed that there a number of options that can be made gluten free you just need to speak with the manager. Will definitely be going back in the future based on this interaction!

Thank you for your review Olivia. Gluten free is challenging but there are a wide variety of modifications available to our menu that provide a substantial offering. Did you get the opportunity to discuss this with your server? For example, our whole tasting menu can be modified gluten free depending on the severity of the allergy for the guest. Regards Nicholas

I have tried this place for lunch and I liked it much better. The dinner menu was not impressive and there was no value for money.

Excellent food - a nice change from the usual downtown lunch menus. Service is very good. It’s always a treat to eat there.

Celebrated an anniversary at Minami and it was wonderful. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, cool ambiance and the little surprise at the end of our dinner made it extra special. It’s great when places pay attention and make your occasion extra special. You remember these things. Highly recommend Minami and we will be back.
