Beautiful restaurant with teppenyaki and sushi tables. Very generous portions and outstanding quality. Try the guava cheese cake.. its amazing and light!!! Highly recommend... by reservation only!!

Service was great. Chef was entertaining and fun BUT it was very loud while she was performing. Didn’t like the carrots trying to be flown into our mouth. Food was good, Filet Mignon was like butter, so tender.

Very clean, expeditious service with upbeat atmosphere. Highly recommend.

The service was amazing. Typical service in Mexico. First class. We were greeted by Edgar who seated us and took our drink order. He kept checking on us and making jokes. Very entertaining!!! Jorge cooked us an amazing meal. Shrimp, Tenderloin, rice and vegetables. Can't wait to go back. Thank you for a fine dining experience!!!

Two different nights for dinner. One habachi one sushi. Both nights were excellent. Food and service. Find Antonio or Armando as either will meet all your needs. Highly recommend the Thai coconut chicken soup and the dragon roll. One tip is that it would be wise to let the restaurant know whether you plan to have sushi or tempan Yakima. Over all a great experience.

Los procesos de limpieza y distanciamiento muy bien establecidos. El código QR del menú no funcionó. La carta de bebidas también fue física. Alberto nuestro mesero muy amable pero no se escuchaba claro con el cubrebocas. Job nuestro tepanyikero fue increíble, el show fantástico. La comida deliciosa. Una experiencia total.

The food was the best teppan I have ever had. It was super fresh and tasty. Our Chef Hon was absolutely a master at his craft. Please consider eating at Mikado when visiting Puerto Vallarta.

We were on vacation and due to COVID-19 our all inclusive hotel didn’t have many dinning options so we decided to celebrate our sons birthday at Mikado. From the moment we entered the restaurant we were greeted with warm smiles and friendly hello’s from the staff. Our server was very kind and informative. Our chef was very talented and gave us a great show which my 5 year old really enjoyed. The food was probably the best hibatchi I’ve had in years! It was very flavorful and cooked to perfection. To end the night our server surprised us with a special birthday dessert with a candle. If your looking for good food and an amazing restaurant look no further.

We had Antonio and Jorge to serve us who were both friendly and informative. The food was excellent as was the service. We were there with another couple who enjoyed their dinner as much as we did. The fried rice is beyond wonderful. We will certainly go back the next time we are in Puerto Vallarta.
