The waitstaff and cook were outstanding! Food was Delicious.

Booked reservation and ended up at a table rather than the cooking experience at table. Staff was able to accommodate us, but the chef had his back to us the whole time.

A regular stop when we visit Cancun . . . always delicious! Strayed from my usual order of Teppen Yaki and had some sushi this year! Lovely!! Under going some remodeling this year . . . so restrooms were not open in restaurant . . . had to use bathrooms in neighboring Champions ... look forward to completion of project!!

Better than any hibachi I’ve had in the states!

The hibachi tuna and the scallops were very good. Service was a bit slow but the waiter was trying hard. He had too many tables. Overall it was very good.

When we are in Cancun we dine at Mikado restaurant. We love the freshness of the food and the energetic chefs who entertain while cooking in front of you. We have dined there twice this vacation and still may be back for a third time. Great food!

The food was excellent. We sat at the Hibachi table. Our chef was excellent! He was friendly and very entertaining. He did a great job! The waiter was very good. The menu has something for every pallet. When we are in Cancun, Mikado is must visit!!

The service was prompt and very friendly. The waiter was able to provide clear recommendations and explanations of the differences in the sushi. The food was delicious and perfectly made.

I think our waiter may of had more tables than he could handle. I ordered the rib eye with veggies and fried rice, the meal came with miso soup. The soup showed up after my entree was delivered and only because I asked what happened to the soup. My fried rice came after I had eaten 1/2 of my entree. The food was pretty tasty and my husband liked the 2 rolls that he ordered.

What a waste. This restaurant was included in our all-inclusive package, and after the reviews we were excited to try Mikado. Unfortunately, things went downhill the minute we were seated. We were asked to sit at the hibachi to watch the show but didn't expect to sit on 2 different sides of the table. Not only did we wait there for about 10 minutes before a waiter showed up to even take an order, he waited on the group's with food and beverages already in front of them first. Another 10 minutes and we go back to the host and ask for another table where it was quieter and we could actually have a conversation without yelling. Again the waiting game. Mind you we went at 6:30 and restaurant was practically empty. Finally a server. When the food finally arrives it arrives in parts. We ordered a teriyaki salmon dish with steamed rice, and scallops with noodles. My wife's rice didn't arrive at the table until she was finished with her food. The quality of the food was what you would expect at your average red lobster- less than appealing, overcooked, and over priced.
My recommendation would be to not spend or time or money at this establishment. The waiters are less than accommodating and the manager was only worried about the next check.

Everything was perfect. Make sure to ask for Jose, he made sure everything was spectacular!

My fiancé and I were in Cancun celebrating my 40th Birthday. We wanted habachi/sushi and found Mikado. The food, service and atmosphere was excellent. We highly recommend this place as it was our best meal we had in Cancun!

Excellent service and food! Mikado is a must if staying in the area.

Teppanyaki is good. Shrimp are high quality and tasty. Don’t recommend the lobster or scallops. Don’t recommend the mixed fried rice. Filet was good. Felt chef used too much soy sauce on everything. Vegetable medley would be better served with just 2-3 items. Worthwhile if you get a dining discount.

Server was too distracted as he seemed to have too many tables. He was trying to multitask but it wasn’t working. Food came out before drinks. Would pour a little water then go to the computer to put something in for another table. Not the best

If you want to sit at a hibachi table, make sure you specify in your reservation. We had made reservations weeks in advance but we were seated at a regular table. Manager was gracious about it but we really wish we were at hibachi table. Food was good.

Pésima experiencia. El restaurante de sushi más desagradable al que he ido en mi vida. El pescado no está fresco, los rollos los tienen refrigerados porque no los hicieron al momento. SUCIO A MÁS NO PODER.

This is the worst Sushi I have been served in the last ten years. There were groups of people enjoying the Hibachi Grill but if you were looking for Sushi, look elsewhere. We started with Miso soup that was so salty it could sustain deep sea wildlife. The Sushi and Sashimi were dry, flavorless and an embarrassment. We walked over to the Sushi station and found the raw fish unwrapped and the raw shrimp butterflied and stacked high. The crab Sashimi was the less desirable sea leg. I like the color they painted the room. That’s it.

Absolutely wonderful...A MUST IF YOU GO TO CANCUN!!! Wilbur, our chef, and Raymond our server were perfect and so much fun! We love it at Mikado and go there every year! (I’ll be there at the Palm Desert Mikado too this year....let’s see who puts on the better show...)!!

Excelente restaurante de comida japonesa y fusion.
Cené con mi esposa en Mayo 2017 y probamos muchisimos platillos exquisitos en un ambiente discreto y romantico.
La cuenta final no fueron ni $60.
Definitivamente regresaremos cuando volvamos a Cancun
